My family and I are just back from a fantastic holiday at this hotel. I could not recommend it enough. Yes, the hill up to it is steep, but unless you are pushing a buggy or less abled it shouldn't be to much of a problem. Staff were unbelievably friendly, helpful and professional. Food was simply Devine with plenty of variety and cooked and presented to a very high standard. Air conditioning in the room was brill and the rooms were spotless. Hotel was ok but was more 3 star than 4 star in my opinion. Room was not particularly clean (items left from previous occupants ) and was in need of some maintenance a window pane was loose in the frame in our room which was banging all night one night when it was windy. The food was poor unless you wanted chips for every meal, one day they were serving out of date ice creams and mouldy bread in the snack bar. The bar service was ok but they were constantly running out of glasses so you freque... Read more

We are still here and i would not recommend this hotel..we booked for 2 weeks. The entertainment is shocking. There is the option of going out but whats the point of all inclusive then? The lager is horrible and my 2 kids aged 17 and 11 are bored as there is nothing for them to do. I am really disappointed in this hotel and will not be back. WORD OF WARNING.there are only 10 rooms with balconies and it cost us an extra £400 to upgrade before we came. I just want to go home now.

Although the hotel was lovely, the rooms.are awful. When I booked this hotel for myself,.my partner, my 15 year old son and 12 year old daughter, I didn't think we would all be in one room with two double beds and a pull down sofa which when pulled down, you couldn't open the fridge door. Very disappointed with the room. Also entertainment was terrible and watered down spirits. Not a happy customer. Definitely not a hotel for families with teenage children.

OK so I will pick up on the negatives, firstly cardiac Hill, is not as bad as it sounds but you have 2 other routes that are not so inclined but take a little longer, if you have young children who will ask mummy or daddy to pick them up, or a push chair it will definitely take it out of you. The swimming pool is the biggest negative for me, although the pool looks absolutely fantastic, the jacuzzi area in the main pool can only be used by adults (there is a smaller jacuzzi upstairs by the sli... We stayed here in may. it was the second time we had been and both times were fantastic.. this time round was extra special as it was our honeymoon (just wanted somewhere we knew and liked for a relaxing week in the sun) on arrival we were given a free upgrade to all inclusive something we wasn't expecting at all and was much appreciated. this hotel is lovely, nice and clean, food is fab, pool area has had a revamp and looks great and now has a swim up pool bar and big screen TV cant wait to go... I was beginning to think we'd made a terrible mistake booking this hotel when I read some recent reviews ......... Freezing pool , rude staff , appalling food ?? I was apprehensive to say the least but please read on . The hotel itself is massive , spacious and spotlessly clean . The housekeeping staff are there cleaning the public areas into the night . We are a family of four and to be fair I thought the room was a reasonable size for us . We did miss having a balcony but it was a minor issue... Read more

Well were do I begin??? It is not as it says in the brochure, the International beer on all inclusive + is just a joke anyone can have the branded drinks. NO BALCONY!!! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT POOL That's another joke you have to queue for sunbeds for at least 2 hours and they don't let you get one till 9.30 am and the sun dose not hit the pool till 12pm. Food is below par. All in all I'm very disappointed with the Magic Rock Aqua Garden Would not recommend this place to anyone.

This is my 2nd review in 2 years I'm compelled to recommend. I've been to Cyprus, Malta, Turkey and I challenge anyone to find better value. Ok the view is spoilt by surrounding high rises which whilst initially disappoints it soon becomes insignificant (plenty of sun) Pool is first class, hotel is clean, functional, organised and staff are very helpful and efficient. Food is as good as it gets for all inclusive with bean to cup coffee, slush drinks, mr whippy etc. Yes there's the mad uncivili... Read more

We arrived to a nice looking hotel and thought it would be great but no it was not the food is a big let down bland and not at all great , in fact the best food is wraps on sundays but forget the rest we ate out 5 or 6 times just to get some flavour , but this is not the worst thing about this hotel not by a long shot the worst thing is the maid been a dirty thief 6 days into our holiday I had 2 packs of cigarettes go missing ( no big deal) I thought she had thrown them away by mistake , but my... First impressions not good. Issues with Thomson but that's not the hotels fault. Friendly reception staff on checking in. Lifts then would not go to our floor and we ended up stuck in the lift for 10 minutes, eventually got to our room and keycards wouldn't work, so had to go back to reception. All this with our luggage and our two year old boy. I understand this can happen anywhere, but at no time did anyone offer to help. Then the room. Sofa bed didn't work, so two year old had to sleep in a ... Read more

This hotel does not deserve all of it's bad reviews, it's probably one of the nicest looking hotels I've seen in Benidorm, themed brilliantly! .. although, the cons I found - cleaners often take the key left in the room which we had to use at all hours to keep air con on otherwise it is way to warm. Also the keys are very tempremental they often cancel themselves which means you have to go back to reception, rooms are way to small for any more than an adult couple (based on room share of 2 adult... Just got back from a week away at the aqua rock had a great time just a few problem's hotel very large only found the second reception at the end of the holiday in which would we have known it was there it would have been easier to get back from the bar we was at just around the corner. Getting up early for the sunbeds was a pain but had to as there's just not enough for the amount of people in the hotel. Food was great a different choice each night staff was fantastic can't fault them they wou... Read more

We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel. We find it hard to fault it. The food was excellent with lots of choice, friendly staff, very clean and comfy rooms and great entertainment. The reception staff were also very helpful. The entertainment team were very good, friendly and worked very hard to keep everyone happy. We would definitely go back to this hotel and would recommend it to everyone.

We stayed for a week in July Cardiac hill not that bad at all The hotel is the best looking hotel in Benidorm. Reception staff brilliant. Food really good plenty of choice and choice of restaurants. Bar staff great We had a water leak in our room within a hour new room and bottle of champagne and fruit juice and fruit in our room. Avoid this hotel like the plague, I am here right now have been here 4 days have 10 left and I am seriously considering going home. If you have booked here try and change ASAP before it's too late. Every morning there is a stampede for the beds which has half the hotel literally fighting for a bed. There is no fun allowed in the pool which is ice cold as well. No floats no balls no rings no fun at all is allowed. The slides which are not even open all day can cause injury. The bars run out of ce... Read more

Food was good, staff very friendly, nice and clean, had a fantastic time. The only downsides was the evening entertainment was all inside during the night, and I personally don't want to sit inside during a summer holiday. The room had no balcony which I will never do again, really missed one.

I was here in may with my son and partner our first holiday abroad in 10 years. I was gutted to say the least we booked because it said no stag and hen dos the hotel was full of them my son seen all sorts that he shoudnt have. The pool staff were very ignorant and wouldnt let the kids on the slides only at certian times. The were closing the pool at 6PM which is rubbish to say we were on holiday. the food was often cold even though there was pleanty of choice. Some of the bar staff were compl... Read more

Have just returned after two weeks at the rock gardens and had a Fantastic time. I can't believe some of the rubbish people have been posting on this site slating the hotel. The first thing I would say is this is a hotel set up to cater for package family holidays some people must be going with rose tinted glasses if they think otherwise. If you are a veteran of many such holidays as I am you will be fine. You don't have to queue 2 hours for a sun bed in fact some mornings once the typical fir... Read more
