My family and I are just back from a fantastic holiday at this hotel. I could not recommend it enough. Yes, the hill up to it is steep, but unless you are pushing a buggy or less abled it shouldn't be to much of a problem. Staff were unbelievably friendly, helpful and professional. Food was simply Devine with plenty of variety and cooked and presented to a very high standard. Air conditioning in the room was brill and the rooms were spotless. We have just returned from this hotel! This was a family holiday kids aged 12 & 14. Lots of postives about this Hotel. Positives! ??? Rooms a bit small but immaculate! Hotel throughout always clean. Food is great. Something for everyone - presentation perfect. Especially in the Africa Falls Restaurant. Top class food! Staff in Restaurants really helpful. Hotel was ok but was more 3 star than 4 star in my opinion. Room was not particularly clean (items left from previous occupants ) and was in need of some maintenance a window pane was loose in the frame in our room which was banging all night one night when it was windy. The food was poor unless you wanted chips for every meal, one day they were serving out of date ice creams and mouldy bread in the snack bar. The bar service was ok but they were constantly running out of glasses so you freque... Read more

We are still here and i would not recommend this hotel..we booked for 2 weeks. The entertainment is shocking. There is the option of going out but whats the point of all inclusive then? The lager is horrible and my 2 kids aged 17 and 11 are bored as there is nothing for them to do. I am really disappointed in this hotel and will not be back. WORD OF WARNING.there are only 10 rooms with balconies and it cost us an extra £400 to upgrade before we came. I just want to go home now.

Although the hotel was lovely, the rooms.are awful. When I booked this hotel for myself,.my partner, my 15 year old son and 12 year old daughter, I didn't think we would all be in one room with two double beds and a pull down sofa which when pulled down, you couldn't open the fridge door. Very disappointed with the room. Also entertainment was terrible and watered down spirits. Not a happy customer. Definitely not a hotel for families with teenage children.

OK so I will pick up on the negatives, firstly cardiac Hill, is not as bad as it sounds but you have 2 other routes that are not so inclined but take a little longer, if you have young children who will ask mummy or daddy to pick them up, or a push chair it will definitely take it out of you. The swimming pool is the biggest negative for me, although the pool looks absolutely fantastic, the jacuzzi area in the main pool can only be used by adults (there is a smaller jacuzzi upstairs by the sli... I was beginning to think we'd made a terrible mistake booking this hotel when I read some recent reviews ......... Freezing pool , rude staff , appalling food ?? I was apprehensive to say the least but please read on . The hotel itself is massive , spacious and spotlessly clean . The housekeeping staff are there cleaning the public areas into the night . Well were do I begin??? It is not as it says in the brochure, the International beer on all inclusive + is just a joke anyone can have the branded drinks. NO BALCONY!!! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT POOL That's another joke you have to queue for sunbeds for at least 2 hours and they don't let you get one till 9.30 am and the sun dose not hit the pool till 12pm. Food is below par. All in all I'm very disappointed with the Magic Rock Aqua Garden Would not recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel does not deserve all of it's bad reviews, it's probably one of the nicest looking hotels I've seen in Benidorm, themed brilliantly! .. although, the cons I found - cleaners often take the key left in the room which we had to use at all hours to keep air con on otherwise it is way to warm. Also the keys are very tempremental they often cancel themselves which means you have to go back to reception, rooms are way to small for any more than an adult couple (based on room share of 2 adult... My first trip to Benidorm and I loved it, hotel was clean and staff was polite, mostly ate out of the hotel but there was a wide variety of food to suit everyone if your thinking of going all inclusive, would definitely consider staying here in the future !

Well we arrived really late at night and the man on reception was very nice and helpful. Up for breakfast in the morning and all I can say is plenty of choice but don't expect it to be hot. Did not have a hot meal on any of the days we were there. Food very repetitive and bland. Pool looked lovely but was far to cold to go in which was a shame. As we were all inclusive this included premium branded drinks. Tried to fob us off with cheap vodka and when I requested Smirnoff I was very rudely told ... Read more

This is hotel is nice and I would come back again, facilities were brilliant. The staff were nice and helpful. Food was good for what it is or should I say good for all inclusive aboard. The choices for food and drinks was a good mix. Vegans might have a problem but vegetarian will fair better. I only eat fish and chicken and always found something to eat even at breakfast. The room design was a bit tricky as you had the door to the room and the wardrobe doors hitting each other so not well tho... Read more

Been here 10 years ago and always said if we were to return we would want a master suite. Returned August 2016 with 2 children 11 and 15 and booked master suite and so glad we did. Positives:- Service and staff very friendly Balcony rooms have so much space for a family and great views of beach and pool (master suite) Restaurants - 3 to choose from depending on time of day (main restaurant by pool in evening was much nicer as not to many smaller children running round and wine service was bott... when we booked the pictures of the rooms didn't look too bad , don't be fooled , when you get in them they are shoe box size , no quilt or blanket just sheets and dirty old throw on it! Quite good location , apart from a hill you have to walk up everytime u want to go back to your hotel. Was only BB but the breakfast was quite nice with large selection , but get in early as when you get to 10am or after you have no chance! No rooftop pool though for adults as stated on the website and NO BALCON... Read more

We stayed in July-15. It was fabulous, food was good (as good as buffet style gets), staff friendly. Met by staff serving cotton candy and fruit punch for the kids which was great. Kids club was great too and there is a lovely adults only area on the roof for sunbathing, this also has a jacuzzi which is lovely. The all inclusive is well worth it. The pool gets shaded quite early in the afternoon, which for sun lovers is not great but for the kids it means plenty of pool time with reduced ri... Read more

The location of the hotel was in a good position, just a few minutes walk from the beach and promenade. The hotel was clean, there was a strange smell but after a couple of days we realised it was the cleaning fluids used. The bedrooms are adequate, clean and comfortable and were quiet once the bars closed which was good (it all closes down at midnight). We were on the 11th floor, the lifts were incredibly slow, so be prepared for a long wait, or take the stairs. When we go on holiday we like... Read more

Hotel well positioned close to beach and shops, however up a steep hill (2 minutes max walk) which could be difficult for buggy or wheelchair pushers, this can be bypassed by a sightly less steep hill next road along closer to the beach. The hotel is really clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are good size and beds very comfy, maid service daily if required however you have the option of a do not disturb sign should you not need room cleaning. Air conditioning and TV in r... I booked with Thomsons as they claim to have a kids club that's accessible from 3 years old. Nope it's 4 years and little 1 can't even use the slides as have to be 9?!?? Recently had a week in the magic aqua rock and what a great week it was. Food great, staff brilliant nothing any bother to them. Good variety of food. There was always something to eat and I'm really fussy. Only downside was it was at top of a hill. Not ideal for anyone with a asking difficulty, however plenty of scooters for hire locally.

We stayed as a family of 3 (Adults)at the Magic Rock Garden 4th to 11th November. Due to roadworks we were dropped off at Burger King at the bottom of ??Cardiac Hill?? this was nowhere near as bad as we had been led to believe, but could pose problems for the elderly or infirm. I've just returned and while the hotel is clean, tidy and pleasant I wouldn't go there again. Firstly its at the top of a very steep hill you are then met by steps and more steps. Designed in a cave effect it is dark and dingy in reception with low ceilings and dark African ornaments.
