This hotel is not as far as what other reviews have stated. Although it is on a main road there was no noise from traffic. Good clean tidy room with comfortable double bed. Maid came every day.. Bedding changed once in our week. Towels changed everyday. The pool area was immaculate and pool very nice although the sunbeds were quite hard. But this hotel is 2 star and you get what you pay the end I've no complaints at all about this hotel for the amount we paid.

We had a weeks stay in May I had read reviews on this hotel so wasn't expecting the best. The hotel was lovely and clean room was cleaned everyday fresh towels everyday. The food was basic not a great choice but what was there was cooked well could have been a bit hotter, did tend to cater for Spanish taste more than English but there was always something you could eat. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the old town and a15 minute walk to the new Town. Slept well even though there was a m... Read more

Stayed here 14th of May for 4 nights with family. Seventh stay at benidorm. hotel itself is very good and clean and staff very helpful. Room cleaned every day but the location is bad. You have to walk for ages to get anywhere so I would not be staying here again because of that. It is a very loud hotel on a night with our room being above a older peoples spanish disco every night. It is catered more for the Spanish and in a more spanish area if you like to be more near the English area don't boo... Read more

It is a very clean hotel and the staff need to be commended for that. It's a pity they can't be selective about the guests, the majority of whom are over 50. It must be their advancing years that cause them to be so noisy with the shouting, doors slamming and dragging things along corridors in the early hours. I would expect such things from 20 and 30 year olds. One poor old dear was singing the same 4 words from a song over and over again at 6:00am after coming in after a night out and her par... We are just back from a 9 night break in Benidorm and stayed at this hotel. Overall we had a brilliant time. Slight downside was being dropped off at the bank opposite the hotel, so had a few minutes walk to the hotel but it's right in front of you. A large staircase to climb up to at the front of the hotel but they do have a flat entrance around the left of the hotel. There is also a lift from the cafeteria floor level to all levels of the hotel, the lifts are a touch small but can easily fit ... Read more

Just back from our first time holiday in Benidorm. (3rd - 10th June). We chose a double room when staying which is two single beds. This hotel is an average hotel very clean and the staff on reception are nice. None off them speak fluent English ( not when we were there anyway) but they managed to understand us. The major letdown off this hotel for me personally was how thin the walls were you can hear absolutely everything! I was woke up a few times every night we stayed which wasn't what I ... Read more

Stayed in the Joya for 4 days as a last minute holiday. For me the location was ideal. Far enough away from the busy night life but only 10 mins walk to the centre and 15 minutes to the old town. Hotel Joya is basic but very clean, we ended up having a room over looking the pool after asking to change rooms initally and there was no issue at all from the staff. I'd stay here again if i returned to Benidorm.

Had a 5 day break on the 25/06/16 staying at this hotel , had a fab time hotel is clean pool is fab lots of Spanish holiday makers there at the same time which was fine food was great if you like Spanish food which we do My only criticism is it's far from main town of new Benidorm but a taxi back home at night costs 6 to 8 euros Nearer the quieter area of the old town which is great for shops and bars and the beach

This hotel is so clean and nice. Staff are great. Love the location. 10 minutes walk to the old town. We go room only as we like to eat out in different restaurants, so can't comment on the food. Hairdryers in the room. Pool view is lovely. Will be back again.

Stayed here recently on a stag do with a large group. Rooms were excellent, cleaned daily much to our surprise. Close walk to restaurants and the Benidorm square or only 6 euros in a taxi. Bar food wasn't too bad for just a snack around the pool during the afternoon if not plenty of restaurants within short walking distance. Not a bad word to say.

We stayed in the hotel for a week the staff were as friendly as they could be whilst trying to understand us and no one spoke great English. I only heard 3 or 4 groups of british guests, was quite uncomfortable and the entertainment again was in Spanish. We stayed on the 4th floor which seemed to only be used for disabled people apart from us. We were amongst the loudest most inconsiderate guests ever. Spotlessly clean hotel inside and out, lovely pool and outside area and friendly staff. A short walk to the main night life. We will definitely be going back, perfect location for a family with kids not far from the beach and a short bus ride to aqualandia. A really good value for money hotel.

This hotel is a lovely hotel and is clean a tidy. We had a two night stay for 11 guest and everyone had not a bad word to say about this hotel. It's very close to the main town 10min walk. Food in the hotel is of good standard there is a supermarket and McDonald's across the road from the hotel. We went go karting and had a party bus pick up its was a good day out. Ive seen lots of complaints about food but it was always fresh, hygienic and plenty of people tucking in and filling their plates high. Drinks are reasonably priced. We have just come back from a wonderful week at Joya in Benidorm. We also stayed at the hotel when the 2 parties of special needs adults were there and I have to say as 2 female sunbathers as us we had no issues with them at all. They actually added to our holiday with their singing and dancing. I would say to you if you had issues with the special needs parties then the staff looking after them were very approachable and would of dealt with any situations if needed. This hotel is very average and a good 10 minute walk from the beach and town. But for what you pay it's brilliant. It's very cheap and cheerfull. Can't go wrong with the staff. Very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. Pool not the best and the view was of a car park. But £100 between 2 for 5 nights you really can't go wrong :)

Very dirty and unpleasant hotel to stay in. When we arrived, we had to pay for unhidden charges e.g wifi and use of safe which is usually free of charge in UK. Rooms were dusty, floors dirty and sheets in the bed wasn't changed regularly during our stay and towels weren't regularly cleaned either. Food was OK but wasn't freshly prepared. Staff are also rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't recommend this hotel whatsoever. By far worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

About 25 minutes to the beach and 20 minutes to the square, it is fine if you're on the young side and can easily and happily walk everywhere. The room doesn't have a fridge or tea/coffee. The safe is ?20 for a week and the wifi in the room is the same. Free wifi at reception is perfect! Wouldn't say it was ideal for pensioners who may have problems walking great distances as it's pretty hilly too, renting an electric scooter is recommended. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Just got back from the Joya hotel. Very clean hotel with friendly staff. We did not eat here as there are so many places to eat. It is about 10 min walk to Old Town and 15 to the new. Our room was overlooking the pool, a small basic room and it had 3 beds, so not much room if there had been 3 people in. The rooms were cleaned everyday and clean towels.
