Attended a stag weekend as one of my friends is getting married in June , four over 40s having a drink and a bit of sun. Hotel was OK although there was a smell of sewage and the air con did not work, reception was advised on the first day of our 4 day stay and did nothing to resolve this. Close to the beach and in the middle of old and new towns was a decent base but not somewhere I could particularly recommend.

Well I am so impressed with this hotel, three girls in room 409, hotel staff very friendly, food good, we normally stay in the new town, we much preferred the old town and would definitely stay here again, the pool area with the bar is fantastic , WE LOVED IT.

10 of us stayed here as part of a group getaway and were impressed with new renovations . We stayed here 2 years ago and the hotel was fine but has undergone some good renovations with the pool area and the new pool bar much improved . The rooms were nice and clean . Vincent's bar next door is perfect for a night out and the location in the old town is perfect

My friend and I stayed four nights at the Voramar. The hotel is in a perfect location in the old town. Very close to beach, shops and bars. Our room was newly refurbished and extremely clean and comfortable. The wet room bathroom had the best shower ever. There is noise from the street but this is only to be expected and it didn't stop us sleeping. The food was good however, as we like a little variety, we ate out on two nights. The pool area on the roof is a delight and we used this everyday. ... Read more

Great location and the staff are very helpful especially pool barman and lady on reception. the man on reception is a bit miserable, but the porter was really lovely. Its a bit of a bind when you have to carry your card with you everywhere. We upgraded to all inclusive for £60 for the 4 days- well worth it! This was not an option from the UK

I'd never been to Benidorm, and wasn't really looking forward to it. I was wrong. Although this hotel was very reasonably priced, it was perfect for what we wanted. It was nothing special, but the rooms very were comfortable and a reasonable size. The beds and pillows were great and I slept brilliantly. The shower was hit and strong and the air on worked well. We were full board, but upgraded to AI when we arrived for ‚?¨15 a day-totalling ¬£37 a day AI, an absolute bargain! The food was good,... Read more

A MAINTAINANCE ISSUE -spoilt my enjoyment I WOULD CHECK WITH MAN... Read more

Went her on my stag do in June. Rooms were great, can't fault them in any way. Food was ok. There was a lot of choice, just had to find something you like which you should find something. All else fails, chips. Pool up top was great. Spent a whole day up there drinking cocktails, great wee sun trap. Lots of older folk there, but if you kept yourself to yourself, they did too. Only really seen other holidaymakers at meal times. Destination was good. Taxi rank right outside to take you to dee... Read more

There was 15 of us stayed here for a week as a girls holiday and I honestly couldn't fault the place until the last night of our stay. The gentleman who's on the upstairs pool bar was amazing and was such a laugh. All of us have never laughed so much on this holiday it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the pool being on the roof of the hotel. It wasn't until the last night we found out that a full sleeve of cigarettes and presents that had been bought the night before had been stolen from the roo... Read more

50 metres from beach right in between the 2 big beaches. It was fairly clean, bright and lovely comfy beds with a spare bed already in the room, massive bathroom with a hairdryer and clean towels every day. Breakfast wasn't served until 8am which meant we missed it on the day we flew home as we left at 7.50, most places I've been before serve from 7am. I asked if we could get a pack up the day before we left but the man at reception said it was not possible. (He was a bit rude and abrupt and s... Read more

Slightly dated décor but not shabby. Pro's just up a quiet side street - it's 2 minutes from the old town, 10 minutes from the strip and has a great roof garden with sunbeds and a bar, also a bar downstairs. Staff were friendly and helpful enough. 50metres to the beach. Parking is across the road at a reduced rate. e-mail hotel reception for prices. I paid about £40 / night for room incl buffet breakfast. Bathrooms have been modernised. No cons to speak of

I am currently staying at this hotel, it's 33c and the air conditioning does not work, despite my complaints over the last 3 days they have not repaired it. The drainage in the shower is so inadequate and floods if you have it above trickle. Apologies but no solutions.

I was impressed with this hotel for the price paid. It was clean and tidy, the communal areas were nice, especially the terraces and areas on the roof. The room was spacious and we had a double bed each and the shower was really powerful. The only downsides were the food at breakfast was very average, the sausages weren't good and the pastries dry. If you like a quiet nights sleep and are disturbed easily, there is a bit of noise at night due to its location right in the centre. However, it wa... Read more

We stayed at the voramar for one week in July 2016 thank God it was only for the week because this hotel is the worst hotel we have ever stopped in...don't be fooled by all the nice photos the hotel puts their website as they only show you what they want you to see! I was over the moon when I came across their website and all the beautiful photos and thought wow what a great place it looked and sounded , I didn't hesitate to book a weeks holiday with them! I booked a double room and specified wh... Read more

I have recently come back from here, I wouldn't be staying here again. Room 515 had a leak in the roof, got that bad I actually slipped. On the review sheet that were in the room, I put down about the leak and the 3rd day in the maid took it away and nothing was ever done about it. The bed board had a thick layer of dust & the beds sheets didn't get changed the whole time we were there. The food was horrible, no English food at all besides chips. Even the chips were hard and not even enough pot... Read more

A group of 12 of us stayed at this hotel last month to celebrate a special birthday. When we arrived we were told there were only 2 rooms for us as they had no record of the party of 8 people with 3 rooms even though the transfer list with all our names was sitting in front of the receptionist! We then spent 2 hours waiting trying to sort the situation out including calls to the UK to on the beach. While waiting at reception stag groups came through saying the same thing had happened to them and... Read more

5 girls in their 30s on a girls getaway, just because. Have stayed in Benidorm before but at Levante beach side, which is much busier. ARRIVAL late arrival but were glad that dinner was still open (8pm-10pm which can be quite late if holidaying with children). Hotel room was spacious but wasn't in the refurbished part of the building - had to pay 20 euros a night extra to upgrade, which wasn't worth it. Given room 523 - which did not have a balcony. As I was sharing with a smoker we asked t... Read more
