We have just returned from another great holiday at the Rio park, we asked for a room on the 12th floor and got it,(thank you) the food, staff, and entertainment were great, I don't know how people can complain about this hotel, if you can find a better one in Benidorm for the money you pay let me know, yes the rooms need updating but then the price will go up, the only downers this time were the connection bar closed for the summer and the bar prices went up, still great value though.

the rio park is in an excellent location, 10 minutes walk to beach and main bar area. the rooms are basic but good size and clean, no kettle but we knew this before we went so brought our own. lovely reception and lobby. very large pool area with plenty of sunbeds. lots of guests return regularly. we will certainly return to this hotel.

This hotel is 2 stars but the staff are very good and the maids keep all areas clean. On arrival the hotel did not have a room for me. The did offer me a room in another hotel, but as all my friends were already in the hotel I decided to buck up with my mates for one night. I also noticed dozens of people being turned away over the next two days as they had no rooms available. The hotel is about 6 minutes away from the beach and strip and about 20 minute walk to the old town The food is vari... Read more

Agreat hotel very near the main part with all the shops and clubs and bars beach only a short walk away but very quite at night. Good for families and they do cater for the kids well only down side was we missed the old staff and waiter shows they use to put on and gettingaanother bottle if you sung on the karaoke the professon... We weren't staying here but came in every night to watch the brilliant entertainment, the staff shows were of London show standard, and the entertainment manger Ashley had got some really good turns from down the town. It's like a good holiday camp in the sunshine. The waiters and waitresses were excellent especially Tudor and Sheila, still in a bit of shock after seeing Tudor doing the full monty in one of the staff shows!!! We stayed in the Rio Park between the 4--18 June this year, this was our 2nd visit having been there last June as well. The accommodation is fine and the rooms are clean and tidy, we had maid service everyday which was good. The food is perfectly adequate and their is several choices, the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding on a Sunday & Wednesday is really tasty. The staff are friendly and efficient and the star man has too be Tordor who has time for everyone. The entertainment team are very good ... Read more

Just arrived back from a weeks stay here , ignore negative reviews the only thing that let this place down was the behaviour of certain guests ! Well out of the hotel and holiday reps control !!! Food was of a good high standard and plenty of it ! Prices were cheap for drinks and the entertainment was fab ! The gala dinner on Friday was amazing ! I couldn't eat another thing if I had tried ! The Rio Park Hotel Benidorm was our first experience of Benidorm. The Hotel was spotless, the staff were very friendly especially Chelo in the main bar, the food was very good plenty of choice, Usually when your abroad the food is good but ruined by bad cooking, but not here the chef was very good everything was cooked very well. The Gala night was great, all he staff in the dining room went out of their way, Champagne on arrival ( very impressive and a red carpet). There were only three things ... Read more

Bar Staff were nice and friendly .. reception not so. Went with 4 friends, bar drinks aren't badly priced, food lots of it, and great for meat eaters, but not vegetarians. This hotel has everything it has a shop in the reception, a fairly large restaurant downstairs, 2 pools, 2 bars and 1 British style pub. One of the bars is pool side and the other was inside. They have events on every night from tribute acts to acting out famous films. By the pool they also have a tent where you can go to a fish spa or get a temporary tattoo. Inside they have a film room, games tables and computers and you can even buy jewellery. The rooms are well air conditioned but for it to ... Read more

Stayed for 11 nights 21 Jun-2 Jul 16. Couldn't really fault the hotel for what we paid (£900 for both of us for half board!). Something for everyone, but be aware it is full of kids! (Although the staff keep them busy all day with games etc). Location: Located on the "yellow brick road". If you follow this road all the way down for about 5/10 minutes you hit the beach. It took around 15/20 minutes to walk to the old town and about 5/10 minutes to the main bar strip and 10/15 minutes to Rincon.... Read more

This hotel is very busy at all times. The view from the balcony leaves a bit to be desired, but the rooms are modern and clean. The food is outstanding, so much choice, and of a very high standard. It is central enough for everywhere, yet just set back enough so that theres no night time noise. Pools and ares are lovely.

We have been visiting this hotel for 16 years and have loved every holiday at the Rio Park. We had two whole weeks of glorious sunshine. The food we thought was better than it had ever been before (and it was always good). Room was cleaned daily with lovely white towels provided. Would have given a 5 but knocked it down a point as one of the maids left our door open on 3 separate occasions. Believe that was because our door did not shut automatically as the other doors did. I like the Rio Park I have been there twice. Staff are very nice and helpful but the rooms look very tired. They badly need refurbishment. We were on the top floor, there was flaky plaster on the ceiling, cracks in the wall. Only one plug socket which was in the bathroom by the sink. Furniture was also in a poor condition.
