I live in Dubai with some of the best hotels in the world and to be honest was concerned about going to a hotel in Benidorm with my last visit almost 25 years ago. I know it sounds snobbish but your supposed to be honest on this site. All I can say is. Absolute class the breakfast was more than adequate in fact tremendous and wT above my expectations. The manager at front desk was a legend. We had a problem with the ac and I popped down to speak to him. Almost immediately within 5 mins he arra... Read more

We've stayed at the Perla five times over the last few years and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. It's still spotlessly clean with spacious rooms. Considering its a two star hotel it's certainly very good. However one can't escape the fact that this is a two star hotel. There are no amenities in the room, no fridge, no kettle, not even a remote for the TV, although you can rent a remote from reception for a fee. One bonus for this year, is they have added power sockets next to the beds, which... Read more

Stayed here for a three night break over the bank holiday weekend. We chose it purely for the location & were not disappionted. The room was a little cramped for three women but we coped and it wouldnt put me off. Breakfast was what you would expect, plenty of choice if you didnt want a cooked breakfast. Evening meal had to be taken next door at Hotel Marina which was nothing to rave about, fairly poor choice but ok for 3nights i suppose. The hotel can quite noisy as it was mostly groups but we... Stayed at the hotel perla for a week on a stag party. After having a bad experience with a hotel in Benidorm last year I was abit sceptical but this place was great. The staff were helpful and friendly the rooms nice and clean I even left my iPad and cash in the room all week and the maids were safe to leave things laying around. Just got back after a few days break... What a brilliant hotel, spotless and lovely staff. Was exactly what we wanted, next door to all the nightlife and few minutes to the beach. Of course there is some noise from the bars and clubs but we knew there would be before booking it and to be honest it wasn't too bad at all. The barman is without doubt the happiest person I've ever met, goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Will definitely book again and cannot praise the staff and location... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for one night in June 2016, as I was on a whistle-stop tour of Benidorm. The hotel was easy to find and was presentable from outside, it was clean and acceptable. We quickly checked in and was allocated room 317. The room was quite small with two beds which we had to push together, it was also a little dated and could have done with a lick of paint, new furniture and the bathroom refurbished. The balcony was spacious and looked over the pool, noise was not a real issue... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend break. What a great hotel and wish we'd found it years ago. The rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday. The balcony was huge. Staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome, especially the barman (didn't get his name) but he was, I think, the happiest person in the whole of Benidorm! The price of beer was a real surprise too, very cheap for a hotel. Location was perfect and as for noise, didn't hear much at all but wouldn't have bothered us if we had. It... Read more

We had stayed here before and opted to return for the third time last week. The hotel has only a 2 star rating but don't let this put you off. It is a hidden gem. The location is very central, being close to the square and calle Gerona, absolutely surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants. We've just returned from our second stay at Perla after trying it for the first time last year. It's a great little hotel, excellent location with helpful, friendly staff. The pool area is great in the daytime with plenty of sunshine and a nice atmosphere. Bar and food prices are good. We've been half board both years and the breakfast at Perla is great along with the evening meal which is served next door at the hotel Marina. Would definitely stay at the Perla again.

The location of Hotel Perla is excellent being walking distance from the beach and benidorm square. The staff are ignorant and not very helpful. Good location, right on the main square and only a couple of minutes from the beach. Nice big pool too. Breakfast was also good, lots of choice. However, receptionist on both check in and check out was very rude, like we were an inconvenience to her. We also only got one room key which also operates the electricity in the room so you can't leave anything charging while you go out, and makes it very difficult if you split up too.

We stayed here as a couple nice rooms, nice staff but terrible for any sleep. The noise outside was so bad you'd only start fallen asleep at 6am if you where lucky. Then the bin men start at 7am so if your coming here to relax it's not the right hotel for you. Firstly the location of this hotel is excellent, it??s right next door to the Marina hotel and just a hop skip and a jump from all the nightlife. Some people have complained it was noisy being so close to the square. We found it OK but we do stay out late ourselves. Free wifi. Overall it was a good hotel, the lunch/dinner quality did let it down but I would stay there again. Here are my thoughts. Reception: We arrived late and were checked in by the night porter. During the day there i... Read more

This is a very clean hotel with welcoming staff,The room is great and breakfast is superb The problem here are the idiotic fellow guests who think it is acceptable to be screaming and shouting up and down the corridors at all hours of the night,This is our 4th night here and been woken at 2 3 4 5 6 a.m. every night by drunken yobs male and female .The hotel staff need to get this under control as a few mindless morons are destroying this otherwise good Hotel

Just back from our annual visit to Benidorm - hotel located smack bang in the middle of all the action but surprisingly quiet despite being next door to Cafe Benidorm. Staff friendly in reception as were other staff members we encountered. Rooms clean and tidy, bathroom a little dated and small. Ideal for our annual soiree, although we didn't use the pool area it was spotlessly clean although attracted a lot of shade but you are a very short walk from the beach. Did not use restaurant or bar so ... Read more

Just back from 3 night stay at Hotel Perla. Very pleasantly surprised. This 2* was miles better than some 3* and above we've visited. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was immaculate, no hidden grubby bits. Bathroom had been refurbished with excellent shower and complimentary toiletries! We never tried the restaurant but did partake in a tasty toastie by the beautiful but shaded pool. This I would say is perhaps the only slight on the place, the sun never quite hit the pool. P... I stayed here with friends for the November fiestas and it's the perfect location to the bars and 5 minutes walk from the beach. I would stay again with friends but it's no frills and what it says on the tin.the 12 .00 check out is a bonus and it offers later check out on request. We stayed for 3 nights.i would say whenever you go to reception the staff are very friendly but very slow whever they need a new system in place I don't know because a simple job takes for ever.

We only stayed for 3 nights and it was £335 euros a room (for 2 people). All you got with that was a breakfast between 8am to 10am. Which was alright, nothing special but also not that bad either. The rooms are clean, basic with a tv in. Having said that if you want to use the tv you need to leave a 10 euro deposit to get the remote control from reception. You will need another 10 euros if you want to use the safe in your room and don't lose the key or they hit you for another 25 euros to get i... Read more

We arrived 14th Nov and are due to leave in the morning (19th) had a great time in benidorm. The hotel is clean, the rooms are a good size and cleaned daily with fresh towels if needed. Good storage with a big wardrobe and lots of hangers and plenty of drawers. A safe is in the room and you need a key from reception. Like others have said it can be a bit noisy at times but it doesn't claim to be a retreat. its in the centre of town with all the amenities on your doorstep and it claims to be a 2*... Read more

We stayed here from the 12th to the 19th of Nov, for the fiesta. The staff are friendly and the rooms cleaned every day. The single pillow was not enough for me, so I folded the spare bed cover and put it under my pillow. The next day the cleaners did their job and left me a second pillow without being asked. So thanks for that. The breakfast is basic but well cooked. There is a choice of english or continental breakfast. We only paid a pound for breakfast for 2 of us for 7 nights, so that w... Read more
