Our room was large, rather aged, Big TV but only 2 English speaking channels. Plenty hot water etc and heating. No tea making facility. Entertainment was really for the Spanish guests. 2 piece band every night to dance to, but it was a drummer and keyboard player with a Boom Boom backing track. The food was really excellent with happy friendly bar staff and attentive waiters. We will go back.

We stayed here for a bit of winter sunshine late February and had a lovely time. There were six of us, young and old, and we thought the hotel was great. We had a warm welcome from the receptionist and a lovely evening meal as soon as we arrived, as it was Valentine`s weekend. We chose to go all inclusive as we like to have a coffee or drink at the bar without worrying about money all the time. The bar staff were friendly. Our rooms were spotless and cleaned every day with plenty of fresh t... Read more

Well we should have listened to the reviews about if your under 85 and not Spanish don't go there. Food was rotten and drink not much better. Hotel caters for very old Spanish who like to ballroom dance, play cards, darts and dominoes. One old lady started hitting my friends case with her stick and we had only just arrived and not reached our room yet. Not saying all the Spanish where rude because they where not. We had our rooms upgraded and where clean and spacious. Hotel is very dated. Trying... Read more

This hotel is in a great location in old town Benidorm one street away from the beach road, the hotel does not have many balconies but we still had a great sea view overlooking the harbour from our room . The bedroom was of a good size with a small seating area with sofa opposite the television, we couldnt watch the tv as there was only Spanish channels,it would have been nice to have at least one English channel. This hotel is like a Saga hotel mainly people over 65 as that included us we were ... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and couldn't fault much. This was the first holiday that I had taken my 9 year old son away on by myself so I was a bit nervous but felt very welcome and safe here. Staff were friendly and chatty to my son. Reception staff were lovely on arrival. I had sent an email prior to my arrival to request a balcony if possible(baring in mind I had a promo room booking so was not expecting to have one) but was delighted to find I had one. Did not have a great view b... Read more

Just had long weekend at Hotel Fenicia. Firstly, the location is perfect. Good access to Old Town Benidorm (near the nut man & pigeons). The breakfast was good and plentiful. The hotel is just very dark & dingy. Dark wood panelling in bar area and old dark curtains, even when the sun shone it looked like the middle of the night, oppressive. One of our rooms had a bad smell but the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. An air freshener had been hidden in a bathroom vent so they kn... Read more

Once again we went to Benidorm and stayed at the Magic Fenicia hotel.Once again we found that the hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the main meals were of a decent quality. As this hotel is an all inclusive, along with others that are in the same group,i feel i must point out that the quality of the snacks,(there for people who do not want to go for their meals at the set meal times,) has fallen significantly, not up to the standards of recent years.Anyway that out of the way,r... Spent a few days at this hotel and while I would not return to this hotel, there are some good points. I will try to be as honest as I can about the hotel. Firstly, location good, very close to the Poniente beach and shops are on the doorstop, also Tapas Alley. Food was of a high quality and there is free water, wine, beer and soft drinks with your meals, a real plus. The hotel is very dark and gloomy, really could do with modernising. The lounge is not inviting because of the dark furnishi... Read more

Hotel Magic Fenicia is situated in an ideal part of the old town of Benidorm. As a 3 star hotel it does boast a nice room to sleep. The beds were comfortable and bathroom facilitates what you would expect and needed. The socialising areas were okay, some of the furnature did seem as though they had seen much better days. The recreational facilities were below standard however. The pool area needed some serious t.l.c and the pool tables had not been looked after well. Most of the staff were poli... Read more

What can I say about the Fenicia. I visited Benidorm May 2016 and booked the Fenicia. The hotel is located centrally in the old town, just a 5 minutes walk from the harbour, the beach, the Tapas area and the some greats Bars and restaurants. It's a 10 minute walk to Levanty Beach where you'll find some lovely intermit bars and restaurants, but a further 10 to 15 minute walk to the more lively bars. If it's the new town, party area, that your after this is not the hotel for you. The hotel's decor... Read more

Hotel was situated ideally for beach and near nightlife in the quieter part of Benidorm but only 7 euro to the main strip if you want to see shows, noisier nightlife. Hotel indoor pool was adequate but needed a bit tlc and not big enough if hotel was full say July/ August . Reception staff were very helpful and cheerful, bar and restaruant staff the same couldn't do enough for us. except 1 very miserable sour faced man in the bar (you,ll know him straight away) I can't understand the complaints ...
