We stayed here with friends we new it was cheap and basic when we booked it so we were not expecting anything luxurious. There is nothing wrong with being BASIC because you get what you pay for but it needs to be CLEAN. When you got out of the shower your feet got dirty from the grubby floor tiles. The mattress had enough hairs on it to make a wig ! Very off putting to say the least. There were fag burns on the bed sheets the towels were thread bare. There were maintenance issues as well. Friendly helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay again. Hard to park in Benidorm, so include car park fees in the budget. Really handy for all the sights, bars, restaurants etc.

The hotel is a little tired in honesty , that said all the room facilities worked fine and the room was very clean the beds were good. Savi I think the owner and a gentleman were very helpful with good info. the hotel does;nt do food with a small bar area. I would visit again as the location is perfect for the Old town and very near the beach . No parking on site.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at hotel iris in Benidorm old town with great, caring friendly and attentive hosts who couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was spotlessly clean and so central we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for making us so welcome. Joan and Myra from Torrevieja x

Having arrived an hour before I was due to check in I was greeted by two people on reception, sisters, after getting the basics out the way they offered me a place to refresh so I could have a walk around until my room was ready.I said I was going to go to the supermarket to get a few things, asking what I needed Sam then produced left over body spray, sun tan lotion, shaving foam and body wash all for free. As we were chatting the cleaner came downstairs and said that my room was ready, brilliant se... Read more

Had the loveliest stay in this hotel, the brother and sister that run the place are the nicest most helpful people u could wish for. Very clean rooms that cater perfectly for 6 girls, we shared a dormitory style room which meant we could all stay together! Was greeted on arrival and made to feel Comfortable and welcome from the 2nd we stepped through the door! Will definatley be using this hotel for a short stay again! Excellent location too! ū?§?

Cute little basic hotel in a narrow street in the old town. Super friendly brother and sister staff, and ruled with an iron rod ! Which is a pleasure, customers come first along with peace and quiet and no shenanigan's even tho there was a stag party there they were firmly put in their place and all well behaved. Rooms are very basic but clean. No luxuries , just honest down to earth service. Stayed 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed . For what I paid couldn't fault it.

We have just returned from an 8 day stay in Hotel Iris in the Old Town Benidorm. FABULOUS. For the money you pay you get treated like royalty. We just arrived and had an amazing welcome. We were given the choice of a room in the hotel an apartment across the road or another apartment in the new Town. We took the apartment and it was modern spotless and lovely. It did not have a view but you were only a few minutes walk from the beach. What makes this hotel is the customer service. You ... Read more

Quite honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Been shouted at from the owner since we arrived. Can't walk in your room without them complaining about the noise. Someone walked out the room and the door closed behind them, complained about the noise. Can't take a piece of food up the stairs to relax in your room with. Even if you are sober. Had to go down to reception myself to ask for new towels. No one had been in to change sheets or towels in the 3 days I have been here. They expect you ... Read more

It does have a bar and if you could base a star rating on staff its a 5 Starr PLUS!!! Absolu... Read more

Small hotel, basic but clean & tidy, air con in rooms. Hosts Assam & his wife Sabi could not have been more helpful. Would definitely stay again. The location is ideal, for the old town, didn't hear a single noise during the night which is quite unusual for a small hotel in the centre of Benidorm.

My friend booked this hotel, and when he showed me I wasn't too impressed but thought it was a good place to crash. However,,,,,,,,,,,,,, after staying here it would be hard for me to go anywhere else in the old town. The location is in a quiet back street away from the action but 2 minutes walk away are lovely restaurants and good bars. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk. The welcome we received from Sabi and Sam was fantastic. We were made to feel at home and at ease the moment we walked... Read more

Cheap & cheery. Very comfortable, clean accommodation, lovely friendly owners. Nothing was too much trouble. We were a party of 15 ranging in ages from 10 to 70. We had 3 rooms on the top floor all had aircon. Perfect location for exploring the old town & far enough away from the noisy nightclubs & bars. Suncream & lilos were also offered to us on arrival for use whilst we stayed. The rule about no food in the rooms makes perfect sense to me , but we were encouraged to bring in whatever w... We had a lot of problems with noise from neighbours. It seems the whole Benidorm is full of english people partying the whole night and coming drunk to the hotels, where they continue to party. If you look for a quiet place to sleep, stay away from Benidorm. The host was very nice and friendly, she did her best to handle the noisy guests. The room was small and very old and it had an odd smell, but you can get over it. The wifi was decent.

Sabi is a gem lovely affable, full of good advice & easy conversation! Between her & her brother we could not have been made to feel more welcome! Our room was more than satisfactory and way above what we expected for the price! Would recommend it wholeheartedly, not just for the value for money, great standards of cleanliness & service but for the fantastic genuine nature or the hosts! Treat people as you wish to be treated and you won't go far wrong! Couldn't of wished for better hosts a massi... Read more

This was precisely the type of relaxed and friendly place we were looking for for a lads weekend. Despite 6 of us having a good drink and being out and about until late we wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable. This place is great and the owners really look after you. Very reasonably priced and well located.

This hotel is what we expected for the price we paid. It was clean and tidy and the owners were lovely. The aircon worked well and this was very welcome due to the heat of 35 degrees most days. Clean towels on offer and room cleaned if you wanted it. The hotel is away from all the main noise but very close to the shops. It was a 20 minute walk in to the new town which seemed somewhat longer on the way back after sampling what the night life had to offer. There is lovely little cafe just around ... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in September. Very basic. No clean towels or bed linen. It was cheap but certainly not cheerful. And not worth what we paid £218. Most.guests seem to be on stag/hen do's.....Good points, location in the old town and aircon worked.

Stayed here for 1 night on 5 Oct with friends and family to attend a 50th birthday. It is very basic and that was all we wanted. The rooms were spotlessly clean and fresh.its in old town and surrounded by little cobblestone streets and quirky shops. The owners were so lovely I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights as Hotels in Benidorm seemed very busy for the time of year. Tbh, it couldnt of worked out better. The Hotel is excellent value for money, the Lady who worked the reception was always very friendly and willing to help. Its situated in the Old Town and would take about 10 minutes to walk to Tiki Bar to give u an idea of location. For the money we paid I can have zero complaints, it was clean, secure, friendly and we also quite enjoyed staying away from the main acti... Read more

Looking for a weekend away in Benidorm (well it has to be done), this hotel popped up at a reasonable price. We didnt really know what to expect, but on arrival we were greeted by an extremely friendly owner. Once the checking in had been completed the chap noticed I had a stick and asked if the second floor would be ok for me. While not ideal, I'm not one to ask for special treatment and said I'm sure it would be fine if I took it slowly. But he then mentioned that they had a ground floor a... Read more
