Just returned from a weekend break .This is an ideal place right in the heart of all the bars with only a short walk to a fantastic beach .We stayed full board which was great as the choice and quality of the food was excellent. Clean and tidy no complaints highly recommended. The town is a bit mad but Benidorm does exactly what it says on the tin and I loved it .

We have just returned from the ambassador playa 2 well what can I say about this hotel we had a great time all the staff were pleasant and can't do enough for you . we had a room on the tenth floor at the back which was much quieter and in the afternoon we got all the sun. The meals were good plenty of choice. You only get tea or coffee in the morning with your breakfast and not with any other meal. The lifts are bit slow, clean towels everyday by the maids, overall we had a lovely time for a s... Read more

I stayed at the Ambassador Player 2 along with 9 friends for our recycled teenagers get away trip. We were 3 to a room which was verttually like living on a raft because all the beds were pushed together to fit them in the room. We made the best of it but beware when you are booking for 3 people in one room it can get very crowded very quickly. The room was cleaned very day, don't ask me how?? ?? So no complaints about our housekeeping services. We were full board and the food was really nice,... Read more

Good location - close to beach and shops Good hotel - very clean , good amenities Good food - varied menu, always hot, good quality Good staff - most of the staff in the hotel were very helpful. Only some were rude ( didn't acknowledge is if we said hello or thank you, would take plates and glasses when we hadn't finished ). Only complaint I have is the level of noise experienced from inside and outside the hotel. The room was so noisy at night you might as well have had the balcony door open... Read more

This was our 3rd trip to the hotel and it didn't disappoint again, we stayed in playa 2 and the rooms are yet to be updated like playa 1 but they are comfortable and spacious, we had a family room on the 3rd floor and my little girl had a room all to herself which was nice and we looked straight out to the entertainment near the pools, I know other reviews have said the music is very loud and yes it is if you have your door open but once it is closed the noise isn't bad at all. The Ambassador is a very good hotel as in,,,Clean, great room service, clean towels etc every day. really nice staff. I wanted a central hotel and got it but for us too central. Benidorm is at times frantic with Hen party's , stag party's, birthday party's and any other excuse for a doo. The hotel is in a street that never sleeps and our room in Ambassador 1 , room 603 was facing the all night cafe/pub. What a amazing hotel. Absolutely fab for location right on the main strip for all the nightlife. 5 minute walk to levante beach and around 10-15 minute to get to old town. The hotel is lovely staff very friendly especially the staff in restaurant always cheerful and making you laugh. Only one thing i would say is that food is a bit repetitive but that is it. Looking forward to going back in October

After looking at the options we decided to choose this hotel for our 3rd stay in Benidorm. We wanted half board but this hotel was cheaper at full board than the nearby Rio Park we stayed at last year. The positives are many: ? Free and decent speed wifi in Playa 2 (not sure about playa 1). ? Excellent location right in the middle of all the new town action. ? Spotlessly clean. ? Plenty of uk TV channels on tele to keep you in touch with home. ? Good food, yes some hotels offer a bigg... Read more

I have just returned after 11 nights at the ambassador playa 1 and can honestly say not disappointed at all. The central location makes it an ideal location to get out and about. On arrival we were checked in quickly by lovely ladies on reception, our room wasn't ready but could leave luggage in a secure room. The rooms are a bit dated but really who cares it's not like you spend a lot of time in them anyway. We had a double and single bed. The rooms were cleaned every day and never had a probl... Just had 10 nights here the room was excellent cleaned every day all the staff was great we had a pool view which I emailed them asking for a low floor overlooking the terrace which we got the food was good plenty of sunbeds thou you need to be quick if you want a certain area even if you leave them for a period of time your towel will be removed so others can get a bed the only let down is the lack of umbrellas if you want to get in the shade

I was very disappointed with room and additional charges at the hotel. On the plus side the hotel was very clean. The rooms are very bare and dated. No tea coffee making and you have to pay a deposit for tbe tv remote. The swimming pools are far to small for 2 hotels playa 1 and 2 that share them. We had to join the queue at 7 am to have any chance of a sun bed that were in short supply so in the end went to beach every day and had to pay 10 euros for sun beds. We were charged 45 to keep ou... The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to all the bars and clubs. In fact, our favourite bar, the Western Saloon is next door ??? Antonio, Juanjo and Rafael (pool supervisor) always make our visits extra special, catering to our every need. They are all extremely friendly and go the extra mile to make sure that we have a memorable holiday. This is the 7th time we've stayed at the Ambassador and we will continue to stay there year after year. The food is faultless, the staff are friendly,... Read more

Stayed in the ambassador 1 Hotel was very good very clean and fantastic location, the food was average not much of a choice and similar food most days, Pool was difficult if not impossible to get a good sunbed in a good position unless you stood in a line before 8.30am for doors to open and ran to get a good spot, Itwas funny watching from the balcony at people on a mission to get a bed lol, Was not happy when we was leaving we had not checked out and went for breakfast then on return to our ro... Returned a few weeks ago and it was the 4th time I have visited this hotel. Smart, clean, brilliantly place for the beach and nightlife. I didn't believe it could get any better but it has. A slight refurb in the reception area has made it very modern. I have to praise all the staff every single person was polite and helpful, especially the restaurant staff. I am gluten free and they could not have been more helpful. Thank you for making our stay an excellent one. Check out the spa.

annual holiday in Benidorm, loved the hotel and nightly entertainment, but was not that impressed with the food, same old same old and repeated every week, breakfast was by far the better menu, the ajoining bar to the hotel (the explorer) was great for watching football and was always busy when games were being played, they also had entertainment outside the bar, lovely clean hotel, friendly staff, just the food let it down

Another great holiday at the Ambassador 1 - no complaints - however for the first time our room was on 1st floor room 130 - it overlooked the roof linking the two hotels. When we first arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of plants in pots outside our balcony it looked very nice - but we were bitten on the face, arms, back etc. and I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Are there too many plants too close to the balconies? I wouldn't wish to stay in this room again. ... Read more
