Just returned from a weekend break .This is an ideal place right in the heart of all the bars with only a short walk to a fantastic beach .We stayed full board which was great as the choice and quality of the food was excellent. Clean and tidy no complaints highly recommended. The town is a bit mad but Benidorm does exactly what it says on the tin and I loved it .

We have just returned from the ambassador playa 2 well what can I say about this hotel we had a great time all the staff were pleasant and can't do enough for you . we had a room on the tenth floor at the back which was much quieter and in the afternoon we got all the sun. The meals were good plenty of choice. You only get tea or coffee in the morning with your breakfast and not with any other meal. The lifts are bit slow, clean towels everyday by the maids, overall we had a lovely time for a s... Read more

I stayed at the Ambassador Player 2 along with 9 friends for our recycled teenagers get away trip. We were 3 to a room which was verttually like living on a raft because all the beds were pushed together to fit them in the room. We made the best of it but beware when you are booking for 3 people in one room it can get very crowded very quickly. The room was cleaned very day, don't ask me how?? ?? So no complaints about our housekeeping services. We were full board and the food was really nice,... Read more

Good location - close to beach and shops Good hotel - very clean , good amenities Good food - varied menu, always hot, good quality Good staff - most of the staff in the hotel were very helpful. Only some were rude ( didn't acknowledge is if we said hello or thank you, would take plates and glasses when we hadn't finished ). Only complaint I have is the level of noise experienced from inside and outside the hotel. The room was so noisy at night you might as well have had the balcony door open... Read more

This was our 3rd trip to the hotel and it didn't disappoint again, we stayed in playa 2 and the rooms are yet to be updated like playa 1 but they are comfortable and spacious, we had a family room on the 3rd floor and my little girl had a room all to herself which was nice and we looked straight out to the entertainment near the pools, I know other reviews have said the music is very loud and yes it is if you have your door open but once it is closed the noise isn't bad at all. The Ambassador is a very good hotel as in,,,Clean, great room service, clean towels etc every day. really nice staff. I wanted a central hotel and got it but for us too central. Benidorm is at times frantic with Hen party's , stag party's, birthday party's and any other excuse for a doo. The hotel is in a street that never sleeps and our room in Ambassador 1 , room 603 was facing the all night cafe/pub. What a amazing hotel. Absolutely fab for location right on the main strip for all the nightlife. 5 minute walk to levante beach and around 10-15 minute to get to old town. The hotel is lovely staff very friendly especially the staff in restaurant always cheerful and making you laugh. Only one thing i would say is that food is a bit repetitive but that is it. Looking forward to going back in October

After looking at the options we decided to choose this hotel for our 3rd stay in Benidorm. We wanted half board but this hotel was cheaper at full board than the nearby Rio Park we stayed at last year. The positives are many: ? Free and decent speed wifi in Playa 2 (not sure about playa 1). ? Excellent location right in the middle of all the new town action. ? Spotlessly clean. ? Plenty of uk TV channels on tele to keep you in touch with home. ? Good food, yes some hotels offer a bigg... Read more

I have just returned after 11 nights at the ambassador playa 1 and can honestly say not disappointed at all. The central location makes it an ideal location to get out and about. On arrival we were checked in quickly by lovely ladies on reception, our room wasn't ready but could leave luggage in a secure room. The rooms are a bit dated but really who cares it's not like you spend a lot of time in them anyway. We had a double and single bed. The rooms were cleaned every day and never had a probl... I was very disappointed with room and additional charges at the hotel. On the plus side the hotel was very clean. The rooms are very bare and dated. No tea coffee making and you have to pay a deposit for tbe tv remote. The swimming pools are far to small for 2 hotels playa 1 and 2 that share them. Another great holiday at the Ambassador 1 - no complaints - however for the first time our room was on 1st floor room 130 - it overlooked the roof linking the two hotels. When we first arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of plants in pots outside our balcony it looked very nice - but we were bitten on the face, arms, back etc. and I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Just loved this hotel, the food was good, staff were very nice and entertainment at night was excellent three different places for entertainment.Room was spotless, definatly will go back again. Anyone who has walking difficulties would love this hotel as it is not far from the beach and very central for the shops, no hills to climb.

Stayed first week of November, requested a double room high floor and that's what we got. Rooms small but ideal with bath/shower, red hot water, hairdryer. Tv has lots of English channels, charge for remote but refundable. Excellent wifi in rooms. Used spa which is brill for 10?. Food in hotel excellent. The hotel delivered a bottle of cava to the room and a birthday note for my birthday. Definitely recommend if you want to be in the lively part of Benidorm

Had a lovely short stay with my family at Ambassador Player 1. Rooms were clean and quite modern. Food was good with plenty of choice. We really enjoyed the Explorers Bar for the lovely staff and nice environment for my young niece. The onsite spa was amazing. Well worth the extra money.

The Hotel Ambassador Playa I in Benidorm was excellent value for money, we arrived the weekend before the Fiesta for a member of the party's birthday and it was quite busy in Benidorm, the hotel could not do enough for us, and every time we went to the desk for anything the girls where always happy to help with a smile and done what was needed very quickly. (you have such amazing reception staff with excellent english). The food in the hotel was suitable for all in our party (we where a party ... Read more

Just returned after a short 4 night stay at this hotel. Found the hotel very clean, room was adequate if not the most modern. Room was cleaned to a very good standard. The food in the restaurant was fine for a 3star hotel, we always found something nice to eat. All staff were very pleasant. This hotel is right in the centre of all the bars etc, so can be rather noisy well into the night, or should I say morning. But it never kept me awake! I've stopped at a few of the hotels around the square a... Read more

The hotel was clean and friendly, the food was average. Do not get a room facing the back of the hotel, there is no sunlight and it is extremely noisy. Also watch the barstaff as there was a few times they tried to overcharge us. My fiance and i were there with his grandparents and they have said for there age is was a bit too busy and not personal enough.

The Ambassador hotel is situated right in the middle of the busy bar area and so is best placed for all the action. The hotel itself is bright, clean and welcoming. The food is good and plentiful on the whole, although sometimes not as hot as it should have been. The pool area is also good with plenty of beds and chairs. The rooms although small, are adequate and cleaned daily. The bathroom on the other hand is bigger and bright. I went for the first time with friends to attend the Fiesta, not s... Read more
