We stayed at Wilson boutique hotel for a 5 night city break in Barcelona. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern; the staff were polite and helpful throughout. The hotel is central and located on a main road, but the noise certainly didn't bother us. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to where the main restaurant/bar area of the city, and around 20 minutes walk to the old town/gothic area. There are also plenty of cafes/shops etc in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. I would definitely stay here ... Read more

Nice sized room and great location. The only down fall was that the walls were thin. We heard everyone that walked by our room talking and you could hear the TV in the room next to us. The breakfast was good and a little higher priced than most other places for 2 people.

A lovely boutique property right on the main road of Av. Diagonal. We had booked online though Agoda, and everything whilst checking in was smooth and hassle free. We had booked two rooms (images of both rooms are attached), one was a twin room and the other a suite. Upon requesting, the lady at the reception was very kind to upgrade one room to a corner suite! What a fantastically spacious, airy and came a killer view! The both rooms are well done, newly made and right amount of space, amen... Read more

Why give this little excellent hotel only 4 out of 5 is a fair question. 1) the TV channels are not up to par. not enough in English and very limited choice. 2) Room service is not expensive but... The nachos served are not nachos, and the Margarita pizza didn't have any tomato sauce, which means that it was average at best. Otherwise, this hotel is excellent. GREAT value for money, GREAT location on the Ave. Diagonal, specially if you dont want to be right on top of the Ramblas, which is really... Read more

I stayed two nights with my Partner. Excellent location with plenty of choices for food and drink near by. Very clean and tidy. Only a slight negative the room I stayed in (101) is near the bar/dinning room. Early morning staff activity can disturb you. I will 100% stay there again when I'm back in Barcelona and do recommend it.

Stayed for 3 nights in May. Wilson Boutique Hotel was perfectly located for 30 min walks to and from the main shopping centre, Parc Guell and other visitor sites. The 'hop on hop off' bus stopped across the road from the hotel. The room was quiet, clean and a great base to explore Barcelona from. Wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.

We stayed here for four nights and we would highly recommend it to others. We requested a room on a high floor and were given one facing the street on the 7th floor. It's worth having a balcony to check out the views in the morning. The street noise completed disappeared with the balcony door closed and it was very peaceful! Staff spoke great English and were really helpful. Location wise, it takes about 40 minutes to walk to the centre of the gothic quarter (our favourite area of town), which... Read more

I would not have realized that our room overlooked a major street if I had not opened the curtains. It was that quiet. Comfortable and large enough for 2. We decided to go for the breakfast buffet (12 Euros). One of the biggest spreads I've seen. 6 types of traditional cold Catalan sausages, 6 kinds of cheese, cured ham, 2 choices of Catalan tortillas, scrambled eggs, hot sausages and more.

From Barcelona Sants, we took a taxi to Wilson Boutique Hotel. The ride was short but we got to see the city life and architecture on the way. There is a bank outside the hotel making the ATM close by and convenient. When we checked in, we were directed to our rooms on the second floor, room 208 and 209. Room 209 was very spacious, the room was divided into two with a glass sliding door. The first half contained a single bed and a writing desk along with a small two-person couch. The double bed ... We stayed at the Wilson Boutique Hotel for 4 nights in May 2016. What a great find. Lovely accommodation, quiet rooms, a good size, very nice bathrooms and a breakfast room (dining room) that took advantage of the wonderful location with a view overlooking the Avenida Diagonal. Like all boutique hotels, the rooms are small but characterful, with a Belfast sink and large walk in shower in the bathroom, and the reception not quite where you would expect it to be. But that is the charm of staying in a hotel fitted into an older building, rather than the blandness of some purpose built hotels.I enjoyed my stay, and liked being a 25 minute walk away from the crowded centre of Barcelona. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants (loved Costa Coffee's cappucino, next door to out hotel and also loved the Coffee and Te, which is behind the hotel). The bus stop is close by. We used the bus to get to the market place only about 20 minutes straight through. If you want to stay at a place where there are no party people, this is the place. :) Very pleased:)

Great looking hotel with a comfy bed, very clean and very helpful staff. For a 3 star, it's very nice, albeit the walls are a bit thin between the rooms/corridor and this might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. Out of 3 nights I was woken up once in the middle of the night by screaming guests / opening and closing doors. Other than that, great place. Oh and great breakfast buffet, with a very good selection of yummy foods, something for everyone.

It's possible that other rooms have more conventional en-suite arrangements, ours however had a two section glass box, one lavatory, one shower, both open at the top, if you or your partner prefer to use either in private this is not for you. Our room was a suite on the sixth floor with tremendous facilities and views and even though the hotel is situated beside one of the main roads in Barcelona there was very little noise during the night. Breakfast was included in our room deal and was superb with an excellent variety to choose from. Staff at the hotel were all very helpful and friendly. There is an abundance of eating... Read more

It was my first time in Barcelona had a great stay . The hotel is around 2 km from the main city centre but you can walk every where from the hotel or take a taxi . The cost of taxi fare from the hotel to the aerobus station in the city centre which goes to the airport every 5 minutes won't cost you more than 8 euros . The hotel restaurant was really good I had a Sangria and a pizza which was awesome. The hotel room walls are a bit thin and sometimes you can hear noises from the outside or other... Read more

Very pleased that we stayed at this hotel having booked 3 rooms for a family long weekend. Whilst not right in the centre of the city we found everywhere wasn within an easy walking distance. In a nice secure area with plenty of places to eat without having to walk too far. All staff were excellent especially the breakfast staff who accommodated the 6 of us sitting together. Lovely choose of breakfast. The bedroom we stayed in was fine and had no issues with it. The hotel has a room behind recep... Read more

My sisters & I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights after our cruise. It was a really nice hotel and very close to a lot of shops, cafes, restaurant, & hop on hop off bus. The hotel offers discounts on those tourist bus. There's also a catholic church just a minute away which we attended since we were there on a Sunday. There is a restaurant on the 1st fl of the building & had a cappuccino there.
