As I was in business trip in the city of Barcelona, i enjoyed my stay in the hotel with a provided services for a business meetings and several choices of restaurants and coffees. Car parking also one of the advantages of the hotel.

Interior is a bit dated and location is not very good for the city centre but standards are high and food were good. Obviously, very good if you come to see Barcelona playing at home. There is a huge shopping centre nearby so even if you come on business you may find time to do some shopping. Also, it drive to/from airport was really quick even at peak hours!

I have never had a hotel more thoroughly cleaned than I did at this hotel. The entire staff was lovely and the room small but very comfortable. While it is billed as a five star hotel (and perhaps it was in the sixties) it is probably more along the lines of a 3.5. The furniture is worn and the decor needs updating. Nonetheless, it was well-priced and we enjoyed our stay very much. It is close to three stops on the Hop On Hop Off Blue bus and we were actually able to use our passes as our t... Read more

The location is good and the lobby is ample, but I was expecting more of this 5 star hotel. I had a small bedroom considering the high price charged. No complimentary drinks in bedroom, breakfast costs 27 euros. Small bathroom. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Coming from Asia, the size of the Hotel and the size of the Room are not what we're used from a 5-Star Hotel :-) But anyway the location is very good, not too far from Airport, close to two big shopping malls and directly located on the Road Train a easy start to go Downtown, Starbucks, some nice restaurants and Bars in walking distance. The Hotel has a nice bar with efficient and friendly staff and a nice Beer-Garden with real German beer. Rooms are well furnished, also enough power plugs for a... Read more

Have just come home from a fantastic stay here. We were given a room on the 15th floor with great views of camp nou. Room was lovely and had everything you needed for a short stay. Bed was massive and had fluffy towels and robes fully stocked toiletries and a mini bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had something for everyone. The restaurant served a la carte menu in the evening stunning food!! German restaurant serves good food and beer. Camp nou was about a 5 min walk a... Read more

Nice hotel, clean and tidy, rooms where fine, only the pool was shut which was a shame, gym is fairly basic but enable a decent workout. Hotel seems to be having an external refurb at the moment, but that did affect my stay. I would stay again, nice friendly atmosphere.

I traveled to Barcelona on a business trip and stayed in Princesa Sofia for just over a week. I have stayed in many star hotels around the world and there is nothing special about this hotel, except for the breakfast spread which was fab. Rooms and bathroom are small for a star hotel. Staff is pretty good and helpful. Some basic amenities for a star hotel like an iron box and a coffee station is missing, however on request they would provide you an iron box in the room. If you need a coffee or ... Read more

We were on a family-business trip. The hotel is situated in a position that is extremely difficult to get to if you plan to drive - leave it to the taxi people. The location is surrounded by walking distance to restaurants and shops. The room is tiny. Bathroom is tiny. Nothing special for 300 Eu/night. The breakfast buffet is the only best meal of the restaurant. The staff and service are good. Really nothing to write home about except that it serves its purpose for business trips.
