We stayed four nights end April/beginning May this year to see the city. The hotel is very clean and modern (5 years) - with white décor and lots of mirrors and glass. The beds and linen were clean and very comfortable and there was a separate toilet/bidet and shower unit. Washbasin with lots of toiletries (fresh scent). Hairdryer, towelling robes plus slippers. In room safe. Quiet a/c. Storage spaces was rather limited. Staff were helpful and pleasant. There is a rooftop pool and loungi... Read more

It's fantastically modern- the hotel isn't massive, but the mirrors distort this perception and it feels very grand at times. Room: Loved the concept- white walls and floor, mirrors, TV in the bathroom, nice lighting, flat screen TV, bed exceptionally comfortable. Very clean- could not fault the cleaning at all. Breakfast- superb. Fantastic fresh selection of meats, cheese, pastries, breads, eggs. Spoilt for choice- it is the best breakfast we've had in Spain. Location: A stone through away f... Read more

Everything was perfect: location, staff, breakfast, room facilities. The only problem: it was impossible to open the window so...no fresh air inside the room. I think it is possible to ask the key to the receptionist to open the window...even if I don't see the point of locking the windows.

I recently spent one night at The Mirror Hotel and found it perfect for location and services. The trip was cut short due to an injury prior to my arrival. I was on crutches and the staff worked to get my husband and I in a room as swiftly as possible. They offered to help us in any way needed. The breakfast was delicious as was the welcome cocktails. This funky hotel - one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the world - is just far enough away from the madding crowd yet close (20 minutes walk) to La Rambla and the Hop-on-hop-off bus routes (10 minutes walk). In a mainly residential area there are lots of cafés bars and restaurants to choose from. The staff are great, the rooms very comfortable and quiet. We even had a balcony on our first floor room. The beds are awesome ... one of the best hotel beds ever. Thoroughly recommended.

Stayed for 1 night only, but found the hotel to have a minimalistic look and feel, all white washed throughout and bit quirky at times. The rooms are a decent size but have an odd layout with the bathroom sink in the main bedroom area rather than in the bathroom. No lock on the bathroom door which can be overlooked if you are staying with your partner. Shower cubicle was nice and powerful. Mirrors in most parts of the room and throughout the hotel as you would expect from the name. Breakfast is ... Read more

Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was quick and efficient at getting us checked into our room. It was relatively close to major attractions, if you don't mind a 20 min+ walk (which we didn't mind). Taxis are inexpensive if you don't want to walk. I really enjoyed our two night stay. Probably my only feedback is that there are mirrors everywhere (shocker I know). But there are almost TOO many. Be careful on the elevator with dresses/skirts. But a very lovely stay otherwise. My wife and I took a brief vacation to Barcelona and stayed at the Mirror. We were very pleased with the location and the service at this modern hotel. No complaints at all. There are good restaurants nearby and the desk provided recommendations which helped a lot. It's close to La Rambla and La Familia, but far enough off the main road to be quiet.

The Mirror, located in the Eixample distict is a great base for a City break. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and has all the comforts required for a great weekend, cool light and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite being sorely tested by a group of very demanding "guests" while we there, they dealt with this distraction very well.

We spent 4 nights in that hotel in June I can only agree with Amanda s and other excellent reviews. Good location, close to the metro station, or, if you prefer, to the bus stop (services 54/67/68 will take you straight to Plaça de Catalunya in 10 minutes). Swimming pool little bit small for a tall person but hey, I was there to relax and not to take a part in a swimming competition. Tasty breakfast and excellent service. Definitively worth its price

Lovely chic hotel - attentive staff, interesting rooms - all white with, as expected, lots of mirrored walls. One proviso - if such things as see through toilet and shower doors bother you, you may want to reconsider this hotel. The local area has a good choice of tapas bars and restaurants and the Diagonal metro stop is only a ten minute walk away, allowing you to be in the middle of La Rambla within another... Read more

Stayed here a few nights after cruising the Med Sea. Nice place ,great breakfast buffet with champagne. A very unique hotel and the price was very affordable for a small luxury hotel. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Cabs in Barcelona are very reasonable in compared to other European cities. Highly recommend The Mirror. Also neat little roof top pool with loungers.

What you see is what you get, literally: there's mirrors everywhere. Some may like it, others may feel a little unnerved. Our room had an unusual lay-out: a wash basin in the bedroom instead of in the bathroom, but the bed was comfortable enough. Staff was helpful. We did not use breakfast.

A wonderful weekend. The hotel had perfect location to experiense the different districts in BCN. We found all the mirrors and interior exiting. The beds were really good and the room was quit. The breakfast with cava was a perfect start in the morning! It was excellent service and friendly staff.

Really enjoyed our stay for daughters 13th Birthday. Room smaller than we thought and pool freezing but loved everything else. Great restaurants near by and very close to main attractions. Cake and Brunch is an amazing little cafe and Foc I Oli great burger.

It speaks for itself really. Mirrors galore! Absolutely loved this hotel. Stayed in the superior room. Loved the layout, wicked idea for a tv in the toilet, well, fab for men haha. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. I'm not one for early rises, I was up with the crows every morning to make sure I didn't miss it. It all tastes and looks lovely, couldn't get any fresher. The staff were very friendly, spent a couple nights at the bar. Unlike some hotel staff, they conversated and made jokes.... Read more

Me and my husband stayed for 3 nights. Our room was a deluxe, not the biggest but the mirrors gave it the appearance of being bigger. There was plenty of storage, actually very impressed with the amount of storage. The shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I found the toilet a bit odd, but it definitely wasn't a deal breaker. The breakfast was delicious! We didn't use the pool, but it was a lovely rooftop space. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We also discovered Dry Mart... Read more

We had a deluxe room with a balcony. Room was a good size with seating area. Comfortable bed. Hotel is away from the main thoroughfares and quiet. Rooftop pool of a size only to cool down as very small. The rooms are grouped at each end of the corridor through another door. This gives excellent soundproofing from lift or other noise. Breakfast OK. Excellent cheese omelette but not so good scrambled egg. Reception staff very helpful in recommending restaurants (hotel restaurant not open ... Read more

I did a lot a research before booking this hotel. Unfortunely the reviews were somewhat misleading, along with the hotel photos. First of all this hotel is away from the main area. The rooms are small and narrow. There is a separate toilet cubicle and a separate shower cubicle. Then there is a sink just outside to wash. The set up is a bit weird. The walls are also padded with mirrors everywhere. I expected the mirrors but found the space a bit clinical. Everything is a bit worn out. ... Read more

Super modern hotel, very nicely designed rooms and everything was very well built. Great quality. Fantastic quality bed linen and very comfortable, quality mattresses. Great rooftop plunge pool and sauna area. Impeccably clean Lovely staff. Only negative I have is that they're only double beds available, No Twin rooms.

Small Luxury Hotels of the world. Nope. Doors that don't open, plug sockets in the bedroom too close to the wall you can't put a phone charger in. Minibar micro water bottles not refreshed. (24hr convenience store round the corner with friendly staff though) Worst bit... Bedbugs biting your legs (rm351) and no chance of a hot breakfast. Twice refused a hot breakfast by the staff. On the last morning told its not available any more as so many others have ordered food first. Time to leave for my... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights, booked via BA as a city break package. The hotel is situated about 10 min walk from the Diagonal metro stop, making it the perfect spot of exploring Barcelona. The neighborhood is buzzing and is very safe! We found lots of wonderful bars and restaurants within 1-2Km distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean, modern and well decorated. Staff lovely, smiley, friendly and helpful. Our room was on 7th floor, with a wonderful sunny balcony, we loved it. There is pl... Read more

The staff were very friendly and walked me to my room since the technology to enter was a bit too innovative for the average person. The room was very spacious with a big comfortable bed, robe and slippers. The bathroom and shower were separate. The shower was very cool with several different faucets and settings. I really liked this hotel. The downside was that breakfast wasn't included and it was overpriced for what was served. I think I paid around 18 euros and there was no hot food - just c... Read more

I spent sometime picking our location in Barcelona,I felt that a beach location in November probably wasn't the best idea. The Mirror hotel is ideally located for all the sights ,we walked to the Sagrada Familia ,las rambles, the beach etc. The rooms and decor are very white and modern ,with white men with wings dotted about. The lifts are a claustrophobics dream ,all glass with mirrors on the outside walls ,stairs are clean and easy to use also. Breakfast is good with a buffet style arrangement... Read more

Just returned from a 2 night stay at The Mirror for my 60th Birthday. Lovely room with a balcony, everything you would want was there, robes, slippers, toiletries, nice big TV with English channels, bed lovely and comfortable. Didn't have any drinks at the bar so cannot comment.. Breakfast plentiful, everything that was out looked appetising and fresh, hot food was made to order, omelettes and the scrambled egg very nice. While we were there, there was only 1 waiter who was, taking orders, cooki... Read more
