We stayed at the Petit Palace Museum from April 28 to May 4 . Our room had a perfect size, nice minimalist decor and also had a small balcony with a beautiful view on the street Diputació . Excellent and personalized Attention. The breakfast worthy of a 5 star hotel. In the lobby we heard a very good pianist who relaxed us one night. Plaça Catalonia is less than 10 minutes walk and Passeig de Gracia, 4 minutes . We have no hesitation in recommending this great little hotel.

Hotel is located pretty much in town center, it is approx 5-10 min max walking distance from Plaza Catalunya. From airport you can take Aerobus (5.90 euro single or 10.20 euro return ticket) from outside of the airport directly to Plaza Catalunya or take metro from Airport (4.10euro single). If you like walking and eplore the city, you are 5-10 minutes away from La Rambla, 25-35 minutes from the Barcelona Beach, 20-30 min from Sagrada Familia, 20-30 min walking distance from Fira de Barcelona ... This hotel is centrally located with friendly reception. Breakfast is very good too. Within walking distance of Las Ramblas and many other attractions. Close to many good restaurants and shops. Best of all was their service. I started getting muscle spams in the lower back area which made it almost impossible to walk. My husband went to the reception and they called a doctor who was in my room in less than thirty minutes and this was at midnight. He took care of my problem and by the next da... Read more

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at both hotels in Madrid and Barcelona. The staff at these properties was extremely warm and welcoming from the start. We really can't say enough. Although our plan was to stay at a different hotel in Barcelona, we decided to stay with Petit Palace once we left Madrid. Special thanks to the following people who couldn't have been nicer: Nerea, Elena, Younes, Borsa, Pablo, Eva, Sophia. If we missed anyone, our apology. But, honestly everyone deserves a round of ... The location is great for shopping and touring Barcelona. All employees were very friendly especially Nuno! We upgraded to the suite which had a beautiful terrace with views of the city and a hot tub. Definitely worth it to lay out in the sun before our siestas. Breakfast was also pretty good. The hotel is nice with decent sized rooms. Stylishly decorated.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Nearly everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We had a quintuple room; it slept 5 comfortably. A king sized bed, a bunk bed, and another twin bed. The view from the room was beautiful. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of toiletries and the shower had a rainhead and a handheld sprayer. We also had a jetted hot tub in the room; a pleasant surprise. The curtains in our room had a rip in them; though we suspect because the room is so family friend... Read more

This hotel is hip, clean, has a great breakfast and very personable and friendly staff. Good location - close to main streets and metro. Had a drink at the lobby bar, got many travel tips from front desk staff. Don't look further - book a room! We stayed at Petit Palace in Madrid as well, and were not disappointed!

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. We had booked a suite with a terrace and hot tub and after reading lots of reviews we were hoping for room 404 because people had said it had a lovely big terrace. We were thrilled when we arrived at the hotel early evening to find out we had been given this room. It was not just the terrace we loved but everything about this room. It was so peaceful and very relaxing. We had booked breakfast at the hotel and were very impressed with the c... Read more

We recently stayed at Petit Palace Museum Hotel in Barcelona. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel has been renovated, is clean and has a good vibe. Entry to the hotel is secure and it has a generous foyer area with comfortable seating and a bar. The accommodation worked for us - use of bunk beds was not an issue or having the shower over the bath but it may not suit everyone. The air conditioning was great when needed. The most helpful part of the stay was the service we received from th... Read more

I loved the hotel. The staff are great and really friendly, and the arranged for me to take breakfast when i departed at 04:00am. The reception has a great feel to it and the room that I stayed in was very large, and modern. I would say it be nice to have tea and coffee facilities. The Hotel is a great Location for the city centre, and its a nice walk down the Le Rambles to the old city and harbour. The beach is about 2 km to walk but going through the old city to the beach is cool. I enjoyed my... Read more

My wife and I arrived at the hotel on the evening on the 10th July after having the terrible experience of having a purse and phone stolen during the transfer by metro from the airport. We were met at the check in desk by Yannick, a Frenchman with a heart of gold, who could see how upset we both were by what had happened and set to work immediately in improving our situation. First of all he arranged for us to have breakfast all week at the hotel, which was a lovely gesture as it was not origin... Read more

We stayed for two nights at the Petit Palace Museum. The hotel was well located with a reasonably sort walk to Placa Catalunya. We didn't book breakfast as it wasn't part of our deal and was a bit expensive bearing in mind the great offers locally in nearby restaurants and cafes. The room was a decent size with an adjoining room with sofa, table and chairs, which I found a bit unnecessary as the view from the room want appealing and we weren't in Barcelona to line about the hotel room. I woul... Read more

Friendly and quite atmosphere. All people working in the hotel were friendly and nice, however, the receptionist Nuno was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel has superseded our expectation. The breakfast was simple but healthy and very good for the money. Fresh orange juice and other types are being served.

I tend not to be very picky or write bad reviews unless extremely necessary. I feel it is important to let everyone considering this hotel to secure your bags and items in your room. Unimaginable right? We had a garment bag taken from our room and the hotel took no responsibility for it and lied about camera footage. We traveled with other family members and friends and we all took care of each others bags during our trip. We were warned by our Travel Agent to be careful in Barcelona in ge... Read more

Fantastic location.. We didn't want to be on La Rambla (far too crowded), so this was perfect, just a few mins walk to placa Catalunya. Hotel was really stylish, beds were comfy, and rooms were very clean with generous amenity kits (toothbrush, comb and sewing kit, in addition to the usual shampoos and shower gels). Staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night for a short visit to Barcelona from the Costa Brava. The hotel is very well located and very welcoming. I love the style of the reception area and the bedrooms. We had a family room which was very roomy - king size bed and bunk beds. Gave this a 3 overall as there were problems with the electrics in the room, which meant we couldn't use the TV. Also, the top bunk was very hard for the kids to get up and down. Would have been a higher rating otherwise.

The perfect location for accessing shops/ restaurants/ clubs on foot and bus stops really near to pop to the beach. We didn't have the (expensive) breakfast included as there are hundreds of bakeries and brunch places which you have to try! Also a Pans Company literally next door with cheap and amazing croissants and fresh orange for the morning. Really helpful reception staff and rooms were made up daily. The quality of the rooms is great, only complaints are a lack of full length mirror and no... Read more

The location is fantastic! Can walk to restaurants and shopping. Hotel is clean. Breakfast was great. Room was right in front with balcony Fifth floor so you could look out and people watch. Did not have much street noises considering it was right in front. When you closed the doors it was very quiet.

We loved this hotel, its location is just right, close to everything, la rambla, Gaudi's buildings, paseo de Garcia, barri gottic, lovely restaurants and tapas bars. It has a unique style in its decor, it's modern but with a touch. The staff was really polite and helpful. They offered little complimentary presents for the children like yo-yo, sponges and jumping ropes. This is a great hotel in downtown Barcelona! Let me start with the location, which is excellent. It is well located in the Example Neighborhood which makes it a small walk to almost everything. Casa Batllo is 4 mins away, La pedrera is 8 and Plaza Catalunya is 6 mins (to name a few). Everything is close by! The Service and Staff is excellent and the hotel wasn't too crowded or too empty either. The design is modern and their is free wifi (for 6 devices) so no more fighting over wifi. The connect...
