A nice hotel with nice facilities. Wouldn't recommend if you are wanting to do the main tourist attractions, but good if you are on business or there for something else. Main issues: 1. The room only had 1 available power outlet. We had to unplug a lamp on the desktop to have another outlet and then that took away one of our main light sources. 2. Walls are very thin. First night we heard the neighbors getting jiggy. 3. Not very close to anything. Far from the main tourist attractions (at le... Read more

Hotel was really good value for money, was clean and hotel staff were more than happy to help! Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the Catalunya central and las rambles. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's going on a short trip to Barcelona. Can't really think of any negatives- only that the view from the window was pretty poor, but that didn't bother me. Also it was a little noisy but what do you expect for a hotel in the centre of Barcelona? Overall, really good!!

Okay, first time travellers to Barcelona, and difficult to appreciate distances to attractions looking at a map; I did want accomm that was clean, comfortable, close to everything, internet, friendly staff, pool (after a hot day's activity!), value. Quite frankly I ticked everything on the list - an excellent start! I only booked five days before I traveled so quite a few preferences were already booked out but those were also more costly options. Bonus in our room was the Nespresso coffee maker... Read more

Have a great stay in Barcelona. We booked other hotel name Sanotel Aston, due to the hotel rooms problem, they transferred us to their another hotel name sunotel club center, we were ok because upgrade from 3 stars to 4 stars, and the location also better. Room is nice, big enough. Location is not bad many nice food around.

Great Location to stay during my trip . The hop on and off is easy to access if you staying in this hotel . Friendly staff and clean room. I will definitely come back again to stay here because Spain , Barcelona it's too big and interesting , not enough for 3 days 2 night

Room was smaller than we thought it would be but ideal, very clean our sheets were changed ever day, the only little nit picky thing was, I thought it had tea and coffee making facilities in the room, so we did not take our travel kettle. Go out for breakfast as well. Catalanya Rambles patisserie Jaume, the fresh juice was amazing.

Great situation and really good value. Good for all the best of Barcelona. Great bar restaurant on the corner! 7th floor Roof terrace with a tiny pool. Very good staff and really nice clean well maintained room. Definitely would go back there again

Booked this hotel on very short notice to escape a very low standard Airbnb. This hotel was very comfortable and clean. It provides a free bike service (however the bikes are quite big so not suited to petite people such as myself) as well as a clean and reasonably sized rooftop pool. I would say that the rooms are slightly dated and its probably a bit overpriced but that is partly due to the short notice at which we booked. Overall we had a good experience

What to expect: The front and entry way of this hotel looked beautiful. The hotel room will also be neat and clean. It is in an area of Barcelona that is safe and quite from the sounds of the street. Most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. That is where the "good" of the hotel ends. Walls are paper thin- the streets might be quite but you will hear your neighbors-- sounds of chairs moved around, talking, flushing toilet, showering, tapping. You will not get good rest if your are a light sle... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, large room with comfy bed and a big flat screen TV on the wall. The cleaners do a really good job and will wait for you to go out for the day until they start to clean the room. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of food. The roof top terrace is really nice with the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Located in a quiet Area but 15 mns walk to the beach . staff well educated multilingual not a European construction architecture but well accommodated and with a reasonable price overall with a pool on with a partial view of the area.

First the good.....despite other reviews the hot and cold breakfast (included in our plan) is quite good. We stayed 9 nights in June and the buffet breakfast was consistantly good. Large selection of items ranging from bacon, sausages, eggs to many cold cuts of deli style meats, fresh veggies, cereal, and fruit, etc. Yes, I've had more extensive and higher quality buffet breakfasts but really, unless you're a serious foodie, this BK will satisfy. Unless you like to grab just a croissant and coff... Read more

It was a decent hotel but wouldn't consider it a 4 star. Most of the receptionists were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was not worth the price and going to local bakeries was by far the preferred option. The highlight was the ability to rent bikes from the hotel! They were basic but free! It was first come first serve but we didn't have any issues hiring them. It was a great way to go around Barcelona and thoroughly enjoyed that so I'd say the bikes (which we weren't expecting) made up fo... Read more

I'll start by mentioning that there wasn't any issues with the hotel other than the fact we lost ‚?¨60 that we left on our bed instead of using the safe.. we assumed the maid took it as a tip but she denied seeing it. Other than that, the hotel was fantastic - our room was of a good size, we didn't hear the other people in the hotel through the walls (it was fully booked), the bike rent was really easy, the location of the hotel is in a quiet area but within 4 blocks of the university metro stat... This hotel is too expensive for what's offering. Breakfast is not included, and not cheap either, 15‚?¨pax, for a buffet, not great with choices (regular) and low quality ingredients. For 130‚?¨ a night I was expecting much more, like 4 star quality level. The room was big enough but the couples bed was too small and soft. General quality of the room was also disappointing, and the bathroom was mouldy and smelly. No duvet on the bed was also strange. Positive points- location is top notch (I'm... Read more

Decent size rooms which are clean. Could do with more electric sockets. There was one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom, all the others where in use. Lighting isn't the best for anyone with poor eyesight, one table lamp and 2 bedside lights. The bathroom is well lit though. Air con was ok (it wasn't exceptionally hot when we were there - 28c) but if it was very hot, it might not be enough Rooftop pool is great with plenty of sun loungers. There's also a hot tub and a cold shower. Conven... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights in July for partner's birthday. The hotel is in a lovely neighbourhood, however be prepared for a 15 minute walk to the Uni, and a good 30 minute walk to the Gothic Quarter. Room was basic but clean, air-con wasn't great and there was a heat wave in Barcelona when we stayed, so not ideal! TV didn't work, reported on first day but not fixed, although didn't bother us as we were out most of the time. The hotel is really missing a trick with the roof terrace, it should have... Read more

We stayed in this hotel in may. The room was new, but either way it still felt like old. The key was not electronical and you had to leave it at front desk each time you left the hotel. On the second day housekeeping didn't washed the glases and i felt like they didn't really cleaned well the room. Front Desk staff was very helpfull, they provided a map and explained us how to move around the city with the public transportation. The hotel has a storage room for your cases, free of charge. ... We visited the Sunotel Club Central mid July this year after booking it on's Secret Hotels. We weren't disappointed! The room was big with working air conditioning and everything you'd expect. The bathroom was also large and had a shower over bath, the bath was missing a plug but that was the only fault I could find with the room (not that I was looking but you know what I mean!). The staff were very friendly and spoke English, although they tolerated my poor Spanish for long ... Read more

The hotel was nice and confortable. The pool of the rooftop is nice. The staff was very sweet and we could rent bikes for free. It is intering for a young couple or group of friends because it's nice hotel well located but really not expensive.

Great location in the heart of Eixample neighbourhood. Great value for money. There is a lovely organic supermarket opposite the property. A coffee shop on the corner with Casanova street. I had a easy check-in and check-out. My room was excellent and all worked well.

My brother and his girlfriend stayed at this property in June. My friend and I were visiting Barcelona and wanted a hotel with a pool. My brother had a good experience so we booked it on as it was reasonably priced. The hotel was nice and was in a good location with plently of resturants and cafes in the area. It takes about 10/15 minute to walk to Las Ramblas. Hotel was clean and I will say the shower was great. The staff at reception were friendly and willing to help. On our last d... Read more

Great Location, clean and the staff were very helpful. High priced for a hotel that can be rated as a 3 star. We did not take the high priced breakfast as there are many small small coffee shops nearby. The rooms are nice and spacious but do not expect any good TV programs in English or German as the channels are being streamed and not user friendly. The rooftop swimming pool is freezing, but they have a small and warm Jacuzzi.

This is a very good hotel, fine room size, clean, splendid breakfast, good wifi with no special requirements, registrations. From the time of booking it to the departure all was executed as agreed! Plenty good restaurants in the vicinity,a little bit longer walk to Rambla but all in all centrally located hotel! Only one member o the stuff little grumpy and fed up with the work all others are the example of the courtesy and attention. I will see to book them again we are in Barcelona as this is ... Read more

Room has a comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom. It is not a 4 star hotel. Hall is huge and impersonal. Staff was helpful and speak different languages. It is located near Passeig de Gràcia, 10 minutes by foot. There are many restaurants near the hotel.

This hotel was a very clean modern and situated near lots of nice bars and restaurants if you walked a short distance, there's a lovely road about 10 min walk north which was full of really good restaurants and bars. , it was also very convenient for the 4 main salsa clubs in barcelona. The staff were very very helpful, and the rooms were kept very clean at all times,

Arrived late one night for a 3 night stay, only one person on at reception so had to queue at around 10:30 at night. The hotel looks good but it is a deceitful facade. The noise problems others had mentioned were very accurate, could hear television in other rooms at night which finally abated for an hour or so before the cleaners started what I can only describe as the loudest game of musical chairs, this was every morning. The room comes equipped with a thin blanket only no extra bedding in t... Read more
