My Single room was tiny , dark [ at 2 p.m. ] and the 'window ' ! Small and frosted and covered with a heavy lace ! The open door cut the 'room' in half . I went straight to Reception and , no problem , I was given a room on the top floor , with two beds and a sky-light . So it was not claustrophobic . Most buildings have a narrow frontage , The Rialto has a side alley and back side, so there aren't so many internal rooms with no windows . My advice is to make sure you get what you want when you... I was a little apprehensive about the hotel as I realised it was a budget hotel, but what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. I stayed at the hotel from 28th Nov. for 4 nights and had a very nice room overlooking Carrer de Ferran (the street on which the hotel is located) with the boutique shops. The room was of a decent size with wooden parquet flooring, flat screen TV, comfortable beds, clean and fresh linen and a good sized bathroom. It was absolutely perfect ! The location couldn't ... As the main reason was going out and having some parties with in total 15 guys, we took the best price & location available... Hotel is good, reception is always 'open' with some one ready to help, the rooms are average but clean and ok, we had 5 triples and all were more or less the same, enough place, ok bathroom, nothing more needed!! The only issue is the noise at night from the street, for us it wasn't a problem but I guess a family middle in the summer will not be happy with that :) Loca... Read more

Took my partner to Barcelona for 4 nights stopped in the hotel ideal to lay your head for the night walk outside and your directly onto the street that takes you to las ramblas be warned it can be rather noises at night but then it is a city... breakfast wasn't up to much so went out to eat but nothing to really complain for a few days!!!!

the hotel is in a good location for traveling, because it's closed to a metro station & a shopping street. we can reach to a super market by walk. it takes for 5 or 8 minutes. the road in front of the hotel has a lot of brand name shops

This was our second stay in the Rialto which is right in the Gothic Quarter. The location is an ideal base for visiting the vibrant city of Barcelona. Be aware the streets are noisy all night and will disturb your sleep if you are a light sleeper - this is not the hotel's fault. It is an old building - well worn in parts, but the rooms are kept very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Usual buffet breakfast, plenty of choice - but if like a strong cup of tea, take your own teabags. For this vi... Read more

This was a short break package and great value. The hotel sits on one of the busier streets in the Gothics Quarter. Very handy for bars and restaurants and is 200 metres from the Ramblas. Impressive entrance from the street and I found reception staff to always be available and attentive. The rooms was nothing special and quite cramped but clean and regularly serviced. One thing I would like to mention is the breakfast. I am a fan of a large breakfast and many reviews appear to suggest it isn't... Read more

On our way to Greece and back ,we have to agreed with other travelers, location is good if you don't mine the noise even to early hours of morning. We found that better choice is a little further away in any direction. You have to walk anyway.
