This was our first time at the hotel and we were suprised. A very nice option to stay in Barcelona. Room was spacious and clean, bed comfy, the view of the city nice.We booked the THE LEVEL Service which was awesome and well worth the money, the staff there was knowledgeable and so patient with our son, we apreciate that a lot ! He loved the amenities.

The hotel itself was clean and had a great lobby, cafe and accommodations. The room was not as small as I had anticipated for a European hotel. The bathroom in fact, was a very good size. This area around the hotel had great restaurants and shopping in walking distance. I felt very safe in this area and surrounding area. Nice place to stay. Nice location. friendly staff. very good location (but not excellent). I would definitely go back... but only if I can get a very good deal. a bit too expensive for what they offer. There are services in the hotel that are not quite 5-star material... like the maintenance in the rooms (one window, lower than waist level, on the 21 st floor was fully opening!! We were booked by the cruise line for 3 nights in Barcelona at the end of our cruise. On arriving at the hotel, the cruise representative told us it would be 1 to 2 hours before we had our rooms. Rather than sitting we left our extra hand luggage and started walking the area, looked for the nearest metro and stopped for a coffee and pastry. Overall nice hotel. The beds were a bit firm and the hotel is not in a "tourist" area, but served it's purpose quite nicely. The staff was very helpful in king a restaurant reservation. The showers were great.

this hotel has a great location. The rooms are small but beds are very confortables. Staff is very nice people. I highly recommend this hotel if you are not trying to save money. It is a little expensive but you can have a great time

Excellent stay. Room was ready on early arrival. Bathroom refreshed daily. Location is close to metro with convenient access despite being a bit off the main tourist draws. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Staff was awesome in a very non obtrusive way. Restaurant staff in particular were run off their feet by a tour group but were still smiling despite the chaos. Extra acknowledgement for them!

We upgraded to executive level and as a result were put in a suite which was spacious and comfortable. Pillows were not great and no pillow menu! Bed wad firm but a huge King. Amenities were very nice. Executive level is good but drinks and food are quite reasonably priced in Barcelona so hard to say if it is worth the extra money to upgrade to executive level. Hotel is fairly well located but you do need to cab to most places - taxis are also reasonably priced in Barcelona.

Melia Barcelona Sarria is a pretty decent hotel with basic amenities and conveince for shopping around the vicinity - Supermarket, retail shopping are available in Lilla Mall about 10mins walk away and there's a convenice store just along the street. Room is really just ok for a 5 star hotel. We expected better. However if you're planning to go around Barcelona. The only thig that surprised me was that my room had 3 single beds. I was expecting single beds but having 3 was a bit much. Still, the staff was friendly and the food was good. A bit out of the way if you are looking for the sea.

This hotel lats very central and is therefore very convinient to stay at. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are really comfortable. Our room was very well cleaned every day and we could not hear any sound from the neighbours. The breakfast was fantastic. It contained of a buffet with a huge range of things to chose between. We can recomend this hotel with all our heart.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and big. Very good location, in the centre of Barcelona. Especially i liked service personal, nice, ready to help in everything, smily faces. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable room and beds. Great bathroom with the BEST SHOWER!! Breakfast was among the best we had at any hotel in Spain. Our first trip to Barcelona and could not be happier about having chosen the Melia Sarria as our hotel. We stayed on the 18th floor which had a fabulous view of the city. We also had access to the LEVEL lounge and found the "snacks" and drinks that were out all day and evening, to be very nice. What was exceptional about the LEVEL however, was the service. Spacious enough room to accommodate a scooter and walker and enough room to get around with a walker. Well equiped and large bathroom with lots of hand rails and large shower with seat and hand held shower. Premises also suitable for access. Well located. Chosen by Insight Tours and highly recommended. Definitely 5 star.

Hotels needs a refreshing upgrade, Windows closure more and more defective. (I have been at other rooms, same problem) Airconditioning works not good enough and Shower has not enough water on top Floor.

Stopped here for 6 nights while working in Barcelona. Rooms are a good size and the shower was heaven after a hard day at work. Bar is well stocked and the restaurant was very good for a hotel, ate here 3 nights and all the meals were very good, would possibly book a hotel nearer the beach if I was going to Barcelona on holiday but I wouldn't discount stopping here again.

after check in, when entering the room there was another person in the room who had ckeck-in moments earlier. How could this be possible? An hotel of this category shouldn't make this kind of mistakes.

This hotel is out of this world! Rooms are super modern, super clean, super serviced. Besides the out of this world room, both my better half and I will continue to rave about the breakfast that the hotel serves (comes with the room). There simply is not a breakfast I've had ANYWHERE (even in 5 star hotels) that holds a candle to the breakfast here, and the service is 5 star! All I can say is WOW! I won't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone planning to travel to Barcelona!

I came here for 4 nights last week. From the Monday to Friday. I loved it. We were on the level part of the hotel. The staff were nice. I would come here again. I felt like I could of been there longer. The room was so nice I felt like I could live in it.

Stayed a couple days in the hotel when attending a conference in Barcelona. Check-in was smooth and staff was friendly. Rooms are rather small (and quite out-dated) but clean. Decent bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices (pastries, eggs, fruit,..). Overall decent hotel.

We had a super experience at the Melia Barcelona Sarria. When we went to check in we asked if they had any Junior Suites available. They did and the additional cost was well worth it. The suite was part of the executive or gold level, called "The Level." The room was beautiful and comfortable. There was a lounge and private concierge. Just returned from our three-night stay at Melia Barcelona Sarria. We booked the Level room and so glad we did. What I've noticed most was the staff who were very helpful and efficient, from the reception, room, the lounge, down to the restaurants... I stayed 9 weeks for a business trip in May-Jul 2016. The hotel provides a flawless service with a very qualified and polite personnel. The rooms are nice, wifi is very good, breakfast is plentiful with a good quality. Our stay here was fantastic. Beautiful area with shopping and fantastic restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was sooo good! The rooms were very comfortable with great views. My stay in this hotel was ok. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and I had no problems to get a late checkout. But the rest of my stay here was really disappointing. I stayed in a 3 stars downtown Barcelona before I came to the hotel for a business event. Changing the hotel was a real downgrade. Beautiful, modern hotel with friendly service. High quality finishings and attention to detail. Rooms are impressive, at least in the wonderful family suite where we stayed. Supper was regular as well as breakfast; honestly I expected better food quality. Overall a good experience.

The hotel staff are very good and welcoming and nothing is any trouble even when we arrived around 9.30pm. The breakfast buffet is awesome and of course a chef on hand to cook your eggs etc how you like. Good location, rooms appointed well and beds very comfortable.

I always prefer and search Melia hotels, this one wasn't one of the nicest, but still very good. I travel half of my time, so money for value, safety and practical tips are important to me. I would suggest the hotel to any business visitor needs to access the central Barcelona.

We stayed for two nights 25th and 26th July. The Reception staff gave helpful advice and clearly pointed out the charge for the optional breakfast which we happily opted for. It is a great hotel to stay, very comfortable and well located. Staff is very polite and the bathroom is very clean. It was super crowded however and it was very stressful to have breakfast. Having that in mind, it is definitely a place I want to come back.

The level room service of this hotel is what makes this hotel. The staff is outstanding and very accommodating. Cannot forget the breakfast which was very good. The only complaint is that this hotel is not centrally located and you have to take a taxi everywhere. The rooms are a little small but the mountain views seen from higher floors are spectacular.

Excllent food & beverage service in the lounge/retaurant from Shermin Reymillan and staff. They made our visit fun, entertaining and memorable. Shermin chose the wines for us and we loved his choices. The food was excellent as well. We made a second visit to eat and drink when we returned to Barcelona two weeks later. Excellent service again!

Great room, view, comfy bed. Service staff great. Needed a pharmacy and was directed to one. Short walking distance to convenience stores, shops and restaurants. I stayed with a tour, but others stated that they caught the hop on hop off bus from this hotel. Wish they had CNN like the Melia Sky...but not a deal breaker.

Melia Barcelona Sarria was a great experience start to finish. It is well located, clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. A visitor gets the sense that each and every staff member will do their utmost to make sure that the guest is happy and satisfied. Rooms are rather large and comfortable, the scent is great, room service is perfect, sandwiches & chips taste amazing when hungover. All the staff are polite, friendly and very professional. I'd say it's a great hotel for any type of trip, location isn't perfect but Barcelona is a large city and you'd have to take taxis/metro anyways.

It may not be your Ushua√Įa stay, or W Barcelona. From the outside it looks simple, but from the inside it is coated with luxurious decor, fine touches to all of the services they offer. The rooms are fairly big, and with all of the necessary amenities. Big spacious bathroom and room service that cleans everything and everyday. Safe box was also in the room. Quite expensive, but worth the environment and the overall satisfaction that is present in the hotel.

I have stayed a number of times and always have a good time - the level experience is good but has had some negative changes to its service - such as tapas have stopped being served after 7-8 pm, yet alcoholic drinks still remain until 9pm. Our room was very nice and the bathroom was lovely. The room was on the side of the hotel looking out on Avenue Sarria which meant traffic noise could be heard but it didn't bother us much. We walked to Nou Camp and that was easy but we got taxis to parc Guell and Las Ramblas as the hotel was a little too far away for us to walk. The spa was nice and the massage we had was very good. The staff were always very friendly and keen to help. Would recommend the hotel.

We stayed here for our mini moon and were disappointed. I do not know why this is a 5 star hotel. The standard rooms are very small, our room was on the 9th floor and our view was a building site. We were woken in the mornings to noises of machinery. Even when the windows are closed you can still hear a lot of noise from the street. Very quick check in, great room which was well serviced every day, all staff were very accommodating and courteous. The hotel is about 10- 5 walk from nearest metro station. Would recommend for short or long stays.
