Warm welcome on arrival. Room clean but pretty small and basic. Bonus was having a large patio overlooking the theatre. Room nice and quite as located on 7th floor. Biggest complaint was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. For the price I would expect this as standard.

The hotel was clean, the staff were extremely helpful and all in all a great place to base yourself for a short stay, the room was functional, but clean and the shower worked really well no matter when you decided to have a shower.

While the rooms are on the "smallish" side, this hotel makes up for it by practically being in the middle of the most magnificent spots in Barcelona. Close to public transportation and in a very walkable neighborhood, we had a great time getting to know our surroundings on foot. Free wi-fi which worked great all the days we were there, as well as a very delicious breakfast as an option every morning made our stay at this property an enjoyable one. Would definetly recommend to astute travelers.

The door connected rooms to other guests, which were talking loudly and long into the night, was unacceptable for this prize!! (112? per night). Staff was nice, rooms were clean, bathroom great and modern, breakfast good except the coffee (just sweet automat coffee). :-( Which was a pity for me personally because I love a good coffee in the morning.

Stayed as a family (2 kids in 20s in adjoining room). Beds were very comfortable, mini refrigerator in room, safe in room. Location was great for walking to beach, La Rambla, Picasso Museum, Yacht/Port area, etc. Enjoyed having the markets on the corner. Very clean, breakfast was very good, and the breakfast area clean and attractive. Stayed three nights and wold return. Only drawback was a school next door (at least on the side we stayed on), and if you are a late sleeper (we were not, th... Read more

My wife, father and I stayed at the Auditori for a few days last week and on the whole it is a nice hotel. It is sited outside of the main city centre but is a 10-15 minute walk to the Sagrada Familia and a few minutes walk to two metro stations, Monumental and Glories. At the hotel, the staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and tidy and our rooms were well appointed with nice comfy beds and a cracking hot shower! However, we had problems with our electric key card to our room in the first ... Read more

Hotel Teatre Auditori is well located and appointed. Adriana, the afternoon staff, handled my check in. She was professional, friendly, and very helpful. Unfortunately, the a/c unit and the wall lights were not working and the night-morning staff and the technician were slow to react to my complains and failed to correct the problems. It took my strongest complaint to get moved to another room.

This is a small 3 star hotel, very clean, and quiet location reasonably close to city centre. It is within walking distance to Sagrada Familia but we took a taxi to all of our destinations as there is so much walking involved in Barcelona once you get to where you are going; especially on bus tours. The hotel calls the taxi for you and it is there almost immediately. Taxi charges are reasonable. Our room was quite small but had comfortable beds. There was no dresser but a large closet. The... Our family of three spent four nights at the hotel. The hotel is located in between the Marina and Glories stops of the metro Red Line (Line #1). Quick access to the Plaza Catalunya. The area was pleasantly quiet and very near 8 or more cafes and a few small groceries. The staff was friendly and very helpful with directions and recommendations. La Sagrada Familia is about a 15 minute walk. The only issue is the rather small size of the room. The room gets cramped with 3 adults. However the ba... Read more

I stayed at this hotel in April, during my birthday trip to Barcelona, and I have to say the hotel surprised me in a good way. The room is not that large, but has a decent size for a 3 star hotel. The bathroom is huge, has a walk in shower witch I loved! What I did not really like was the bathroom glass door, it wasn't given you all the intimacy you need when you go to the bathroom. The breakfast was all you needed, it was rich, many cheese types, Spanish chorizo, tuna, sardines, omelets, all y... Read more

I arrived to the hotel after ordering a quite standart room by booking. Yet, t didn't bother the worker since she decided to place me in one of their basement rooms that don't even appear on their photos or details at all. I asked Ariadna (the worker) to move me to the room I ordered, yet she insisted this room is "well enough" for me. Since I insisted further, she moved me the regular rooms, but not a quite one. The room was directed straight to a school's play yard. I applied to her again and ... Read more

Stayed here two nights recently. This is just a good, somewhat simple hotel, good for a city trip. Rooms are big enough, great bathroom and with a small fridge. However downside for me were the beds, small short beds with felt like cheap mattresses. Breakfast was good for a three star hotel, bad coffee. So get your coffee somewhere else. Location is fine, just outside the touristy areas but close to the metro (Glories). Great bar/ café close by (El bar, see other review). Also close to a small... Read more

We really enjoyed our five night stay in this hotel. It was in a quiet part of Barcelona with good bus and metro connections to all the important sights. We were only about a 20 minute walk from the Sagrada Familia and close to a variety of restaurants and cafes on the Marina street that goes straight to the beach. The hotel was very clean, with modern furnishings and bright white linens. The shower was great, hot water plentiful. The staff was excellent, especially Omar on the front desk. He wa... Read more

I stayed in this hotel not by choice but due to a package deal I got from a cruise company. The hotel is quite far out from the center of Barcelona but near to the port. There's nothing special about this hotel. When I went to my room it hadn't been cleaned and smelt like someone had been smoking in the room. I complained and was given a different room but now wasn't on the same floor as the rest of my family. The bathroom is probability the best part of the room. It is up to date with a very po... Great hotel for nine days. Little far from the beach, but the half hour walk makes it all that much more enjoyable. Quite district away from large crowds. Breakfast buffet was great. Highly recommended to those looking for an inexpensive, safe and quite place to crash after enjoying all that Barcelona has to offer.

We chose this hotel due to its position close to the center and its quiet location. And it was as we supposed. Hotel is located close to the public transportation system (metro, tram and bus), all stations are 5-10 minutes of walk from it. The closest metro stations are Marina or Glories on L1 line, for tram it is Teatre Auditori on T4 line, for bus I don´t know. After touring the rest of Barcelona, I thought that this location wasn't that great. It was however close to the beach and La Sagrada Familia if you are up for at least a 20-minute-walk. We did however still had a good time here, as the staff (especially OMAR) were quite friendly. The breakfast was good too! The AC however wasn't that cool, or was it because we visited during summer. AND the bed was just two single ones put together so it kept sliding away from each other at night.

The hotel was very clean and staff are very friendly. They let us check in super early and I'm very happy that our room was ready. The location was ok, it's not far from the metro. Even though we have two adjoining rooms, the rooms are small. The fridge didn't work very well in our room but worked well on the other. The breakfast selection was pretty decent. I would stay here again.

This hotel would be find if you stayed for just 1 night for work, however we stayed for along weekend and were slightly disappointed. Firstly the breakfast wasn't up to scratch, microwaveable eggs and bacon with hot dog sausages. secondly this may seem minor and probably my fault for not checking but there isnt a kettle in the room nor an iron and for the cost of the room this probably shouldn't be an issue.

Booked our f+h city-break very late in the day, 3 weeks before flying, so hotels in/near town with en-suite double room facilities were few and far between - and prices were rising fast. This one was a 'last available one' close enough to town just within our price range. And their website was attractive enough to give it a go. So we ended up with a twin room with beds stuck together. The amount of graffiti surprised us. I thought 'have we booked in a rough neighborhood here'. But we were ... Read more

The hotel's position is perfect. 10 minutes walking from Sagrada Familia, right in front of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and the Auditori and near The Arc de Triomf. Hotel is under construction and next to a school. Waking up very early to the whirring of power tools and squealing children after a long day of travel is not ideal! If you're lucky, you will have a rainy morning to avoid the noise. Hotel is clean and comfortable otherwise, and the included breakfast is nice.

Good wi fi connection to allow to buy tickets online. We were surprised by how many of the tourist sites didn't allow to pay cash. This is a clean and simple hotel, close to public transport options (metro, tram and bus). However for a working stay (with laptop etc), it is lacking: wifi speeds are low (around 1,2Mb/s) and in my room on the ground floor, there was no desk to work at. I must say, I personally found the front desk service to be very lackadaisical, mumbling requests to pay the bill on checkin and explaining the minimum.
