We went for honeymoon. Very good location it is just near to tetuan and girona metro station, also friendly staff but we had some problems with the room toilet door was not closed and they couldnt fix it. But it is ok for its price and location.

Not in or on top of the touristy stuff or bars and restaurants but only ten minutes to a good selection of bars and a cheap taxi journey to the marina or las ramblas, very comfortable and friendly hotel and tremendous value for money. The staff are very helpful and knowledgable.

Located close to Tetuan metro station (5 min), within walking distance from most attractions: Sagrada (15-20 minutes), Gaudi's houses, Batllo and Mila (20 min), Arc de Triomf (10-15 min). There are several nice restaurants nearby and a small shop right next door, where you can find drinks and snacks. Our room (3rd floor) was overlooking the main street and was recently renovated (they were also working on rooms at other floors), with new fiberboard furniture and nice illumination system. It w... This hotel is in a great location to do everything you would want to do in Barcelona. The Hotel itself is nice, clean, fairly quite, the road outside is busy but we slept okay despite our room being a the front. Breakfast is basic but sufficient and nice enough. Unfortunately the hotel only caters for breakfast from 7.30-10.30 and nothing else. We would have liked either tea/coffee making facility in the room but there are many little cafes or tapas bars around, we went next door a couple of tim... Read more

Stayed here for 4 nights, the interior inside was nice the beds were massive, firm mattress & balcony in room & bathroom. I stayed on the 3rd floor which was okay noise wise, considering it was on a busy road. Area was safe enough when I arrived back around 11/11.30 solo. Nearest station is Tetuan which is about 5 min walk away & about 10 mins on the bus to catalunya ( La rambla) Only two things that I'd say to improve would be trying to incorporate a bar of some sort. As well as having an Engl... Read more

Stayed for 5 nights following a business trip. Clean and quite central, I will be back at this hotel. Pablo at reception was so good to us, he made sure we had clean towels and toilet paper everyday because we were always too tired and often asleep when house keeping came around. Thanks Pablo!

I should have been at hotel Glories but had to go here instead (over booked I think) but was very impressed with the hotel. I asked the way to the train station and was told by the night porter. the next day the receptionist knew where I was going as that is where she was from she also knew the friends I was going to see (about 30 miles north) she worked in the next hotel so a small world. A very friendly hotel and only about 10 mins walk from the Goudi,s unfinished cathederal Holy Family in En... Read more

When I first approached the area from the metro, I was anxious about my booking. The area appeared down at heel, and I thought the hotel was going to be the same. How wrong I was! Firstly the area is fine. I had not factored in my arrival time, and businesses weren't re-opened yet. The hotel is smallish, 7 rooms to a floor on 5 floors and 3 rooms on the first floor. The hotel pictures on here are accurate. It's lovely and clean. Modern, neutral decor and peaceful! It's calm and quiet. The staf... Read more

We never got to stay in this hotel. In April we were planning an upcoming trip to Barcelona. This hotel looked good, so we booked a room throughout booking.com. About 5 weeks later - three weeks before our trip - we received a notice that our credit card had been refused and that we had 24 hours to fix things. I called the credit card company, knowing there was nothing wrong with the card. They said they never received a request for the charge. While I was on the phone, the lady at the cre... Read more

We stayed at the Hotel Serhs Carlit the weekend of 1st July-3rd July for a stag party of 9 lads. The hotel is in a decent (not perfect) location for access to the Port, Gothic Quarter and La Rambla via taxi, and if a walk is preferred there are plenty of good value bars on the way to the beach. It's slightly too far for a walk to Gothic Quarter/Beach but a decent location all the same. Rooms were very spacious and clean, and staff were very polite and attentive, helping us with maps and decent... Read more

Very nice boutique hotel! Small cozy very modern room. The breakfast was great! It was just what I needed in the heart of Barcelona. Close to restaurants and attractions. The beach is roughly a thirty minute walk....great way to see parts of Barcelona!

We've stayed at the hotel in the month of july I give two stars to employees who work at the hotel they were fantastic and helped us but the hotel was bad 1. far from the center of the city more than 15 minutes walk. 2. We entered the room and there was a very bad smell, a smell of cleaning materials inside the room. 3. The water out of the bathtub to each room. 4. The doors of the bathrooms do not hang. 5. they did not change the sheets for 3 days they would change them after we asked for it. ... Read more

Long weekend in Barcelona. Hotel was decent but could hear noises from other rooms and outside. First stayed in a room next to the buffet and lift which was very noisy on first floor so asked to be moved and were given a better room. Breakfast was ok and staff were friendly. Good value for money and good location in the city. 30-40 min walk to the beach through las ramblas so an enjoyable walk.

Excellent hotel! Spotless with helpful staff and nice room proportions! Did not pay breakfast and offered 10 euros a day....looked at it but was v basic. Plenty nice cafes en route centre. Metro nearby for all major attractions but I walked everywhere and pretty easy to get back to hotel! As hotel bit off beaten track the nearby eating places good value! Def will use this hotel again!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 10 days during our stay in Barcelona. We were greated with such a good atmosphere, the staff did everything they could so we could check in a couple hours earlier because we had arrived in the morning. The hotel is near Arc De Triomf, the zoo, couple minutes walk to La Rambla, the beach, la sagrada famila and more. There are a lot of good restaurants around and the breakfest at the hotel is really good! I highly reccomend the hotel to everyone who doesnt want... Read more

Situated halfway - easy walking distance - between La Rambla and Sagrada Familia we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bed was huge and comfortable, the rooms a good size. The staff were pleasant if a little unhelpful - when we asked for help booking train tickets to Madrid we were told to go and use an internet café. All in all a pleasant stay in a clean hotel.

21st August. I went to get my breakfast and the staff member who was behind the counter spat into the bucket next to her in full view of me !!!!! I was sickened . Health and safety YUK Unbelievably thin walls ! I could hear the guy next door doing everything !!! Let me tell you it wasn't cheap either. This hotel needs a total renovation. It was appauling that we had to pay for absolutely NO SLEEP !!!

The only upside to this hotel that saved it from a 1* is the location. It is nicely within walking distance of La Sagrada Familia and the rest of the Barcelona tourist sights. The hotel itself is in need of updating and the housekeepers need retraining. The housekeepers need to learn to knock not just barging in - it's not like you can't hear through the walls - they are literally paper thin, you can hear everything through them chairs scraping on the floors in the rooms around you and doors sla...
