We stayed at Hotel Oasis for 2 nights, the hotel was really lovely and it's in a perfect location next to the metro, train station and by the beach too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast online was a bit pricey but it was nice and had some variety. Definitely recommend this hotel!

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in the Oasis Hotel and had rather a nice time. As we approached the hotel I saw it was covered in scaffolding so was a bit worried, but it was gone by the next day. It seems they are doing some building work on it, including a rooftop pool, but we were not bothered by any noise at all, so all good. Staff at the hotel were all friendly and polite and helpful. We did have a couple of problems, but these were all dealt with to our satisfaction. Our toilet... Read more

Gave this hotel a "very good " rating mainly for it's location. It is about 3 minutes walk from the railway station, very near the old quarter, walking distance to the beach, and a stone's throw to the Hop on Hop Off Bus stop. Also handy are 3 or 4 little supermarkets..The room we had was very small and the window looked out upon an internal poky space complete with gurgling pipes, but it didnt keep us awake at night. The room was super clean and modern. Staff at reception were friendly and eff... Read more

Definitely one of the smallest rooms I have ever seen. However, the location is great. You are right by the water, a shopping center, the hop on/hop off bus, subway stations and tons of restaurants and bars. Free wi fi was offered and it connected quickly. The bathroom was surprisingly large for a room so small. The air-conditioning did not work the entire time we were there (we told the desk, but it was never resolved) and we asked for a fan, but never received it. We did not get housekee... Read more

We have spent only one night at Oasis on the way to Calella. Location is very central, close to the train station, Barceloneta beach and city center with shops, bars and cafes. When we got to our room and opened the door, we found out the we got keys to an already used room. When we went down to the reception, the guys just gave us keys to another room without even saying sorry ( what a great service). Room was ok, clean, small and dark. Wifi connection is very poor.

It's a small and simple hotel. The rooms are standard size, not to big nor small. Bathroom with combined bath tub and shower. Air conditioning working ok. Nothing special. Some rooms have no windows I heard somebody complaining. Breakfast starts at 8:00 AM. Which could have been slightly earlier for me.

Location was awesome, lot of place within walking distance (and beach!) and close to metro. Several supermarkets, restaurants and cafes around. Nice staff. Quite busy street, so a lot of noise at night. Quality of the room was okay, but there was a lot of mold at the shower corner. Mixed feelings, low price and great location, but not sure if I would stay there again.

The location of this Hotel is definitely the selling point, it is very central for everything, sights, transport, Marina and beach. The hotel is very basic, we booked a superior room, it was ok but very small and not all that clean. The man on reception during the day was very rude, no eye contact, very few words, mainly gesturing, little or no information forthcoming and the reception area was very dirty, the curtains and windows were terrible. We were given our room key and had to wait on the... Read more

N9ice little hotel with excellent location near Barcelonata and Ramblas. Cleanliness ok. Room was really small with not much places to put your belongings (cabins, shelves). Staff quite helpfull. Nothing special, but great location saves a lot.

The rooms are small but adequate. These are a number is small super markets (not cheap) nearby and lots of eateries. The metro and us are close too.

This hotel couldn't be better situated... 10 minutes from the beach... 10 minutes from the harbour... 20 minutes from Las Ramblas... And a plethora of bars and restaurants in all directions! The hotel is in the pretty Gothic Quarter so all walks entail beautiful history and architecture. There is a metro station and bus stop right on the hotel doorstep so access to the rest of the city is very simple! Rooms are small and basic but kept immaculately clean... and let's face it, who wants to spend ... Read more

The hotel has a good location for everything, walking distance like 10min to the beach, 15min to the la rambla, 15min to clubs and restaurants everywhere around. We hade all book superior rooms with terass at the upper floor (5th) and lived at the renovated part of the hotel. Hotel oasis had a great location in town, but the air conditioning in the room was horrible, it was hot and sticky, hot in the room, lobby and in the hallways. I talked to someone at the front desk and they suggested leaving the room a/c on longer.... Not good! That was the worst part of my trip.

We had a great time at this hotel in July. Stayed for 4 nights and the room had everything we needed - comfortable, modern, very clean and handy extras such as shampoo and soap. The hotel has a great location right by Barconeleta metro stop and just 10 minutes walk to the beach, 5 minutes walk to lots of restaurant choices. Also a lovely pool terrace which was great for late afternoon! We would definitely return to hotel Oasis :)

The hotel was in a great location, close to the beach with only a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you wanted to go on the beach. There were some lovely tapas bars on the back streets. The hotel room was basic but a fare price and cleaned daily, the staff were friendly and helpful

This hotel has a lovely rooftop pool. Great patio for adults to hang out and cool off after a hot day in the Barcelonian sun! It is a rather small pool, so parents keep this in mind it is more of a soaker type rather than a large one for kids to play in. Rooms have AC but it is centrally controlled and the room can still be quite warm. Only soap is provided as a toiletry. Great location, 2 min from barcelatona station, also very close to the Picasso museum.

It was my second stay at the hotel after two years. This time I stayed with my family in a room for three. This big room had a bidet in the bathroom which was great due to the toilet habits of my country. The location of the hotel is great; close to the beach, the Maremagnum Mall, museums and the marina. La Rambla is a 10-minutes walk away. The Barceloneta metro stop is just at the corner and the bus stop is almost in front of the hotel. We stayed in the summer this time, and it was even bette... Horrible hotel. First off, the 1 bedders are unbelievably small. First room, I had 2 lights that didn't work, AC that was broken. I asked to be shifted to another room, after not being taken seriously and some resistance, I got moved. I was told with a rude/arrogant tone to check my luggage and come back at 3pm. The staff are not sympathetic or friendly at all. My second room was not clean... Someone had checked out prior and the room had not been serviced. That is, rubbish in the bin, bed n... Read more

The terrace itself is worth a visit! It is amazing! A few minutes walk to the beach and a nice walk to Placa Catalonia. Family of 6, so chose the cheapest rooms since we needed 3 rooms. Rooms were in the old part of the hotel, and was not too nice, but clean.Bathrooms ok. Will stay in the new part next time= superior rooms.

We were victims of the recent Air France strike, so 2 flights were cancelled from Paris causing our arrival to be a day later then expected. I called the hotel to explain the situation, and was assured that they would keep the room available for us. They did not refund the night we missed, but I understood. Once we finally arrived, we took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and was pleased about the room we received. It was fully updated and really modern, really cool shower and balcony. ... Read more

All things considered staying at oasis hotel was a mostly positive. The cheap rooms are tiny with a small bathroom and a tiny little window into a tiny little shaft. However if you don't plan on staying in the room too much except for sleeping there is not much of a downside to this. It actually makes the room rather quiet because the loud streets around the hotel are not so near and the room could be kept dark and thanks to the rather efficient AC also nice and cool .. So quite perfect for slee... Read more

Yes it can be noisy and the boutique feel is looking a little tired and you have to be a bit picky about the room. Yet the essentials work - plenty of hot water and effective air conditioning, clean rooms and we found the staff to be friendly. It is a great location for beach and old town and the terrace is really pleasant and actually is an oasis in the heart of the city. Bar prices are not the cheapest but hey the rooms are good value so you can't complain.

The location of the hotel is probably the best in Barcelona. Located very close to Barcalonetta beach and harbor and with buses and metro just next door to take you around the city. The hotel itself is only 2 stared, and you can understand why. The room was clean and was cleaned by the staff, but it was not above standard by any means. I have travelled to Barcelona alone and decided to choose this hotel due to its location. Location is the best thing it has going for it as the rooms are very basic but sufficient for a lone traveller.
