This is nice hotel in a good location just a short distance from La Rambla and restaurants and shops. It is close to the starting point for the hop on hop off buses and metro. The breakfast provided while not huge in variety was fresh. The bed was very comfortable and shower nice. Did not have to interact with the staff very much but when we did they were very friendly and helpful. Most spoke english.

Hotel Jazz is a very pleasant, modern hotel close to Placa Catalunya and all major metro stops. Also, the airport bus stops there. No better place to stay when you want to be in the city center! The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. The windows, when closed, isolate the noise from the busy streets very well. Forunately there is a good airco. Wifi worked great! The only drawback for us was the price of the brakfast buffet (14 euros): we felt that was way overpriced. In addition, the p... Read more

Location is great for sightseeing (a few minutes from Plaza Catalunya) and is very convenient for the airport bus (university stop) and the metro (a minute to the station). Rooms are swish and quiet, comfortable beds. Good big windows out onto the street. Front desk staff very friendly and happy to help. I would stay here again. Breakfast was not included in our room rate, but there is a cafe under the hotel, some across the street, and churros must be eaten in Barcelona!

I stayed for 2 nights at jazz hotel in May 2016. I must admit this hotel just blew my mind right at the start. Its location is just perfect with just 300 meters walk to Las Ramblas. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs, etc nearby. Also, interior of the rooms and quality of hotel personnel is superb. At the time of checking in, we were upgraded to junior suit, which was awesome. Reception staff is amazingly helpful. When you ask a single question, they would go all out of their way to ... The Jazz is near the metro and it's an easy journey on the metro to the various sights that Barcelona has to offer The staff at the hotel speak fluent English and are very helpful. The beds are very large and comfortable. The breakfast is rather over priced. There is a good selection for the continental type but the hot breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. If you turn right out of the hotel, turn right on to the street, walk a couple of hundred yards, cross over the road there is a little place... Read more

Great hotel, got early check in at 12pm and cava was waiting in room as I'd contacted the hotel in advance...they were most helpful. Bedrooms were lovely and spotless. Plenty of choice at breakfast, couldn't fault. Brilliant location, loved the rooftop bar and pool. I recommend the Jazz cocktail. If I could find any fault, milk would be nice to go with the tea and coffee in room. Rooftop bar closes at 11pm and by 10.30pm we felt we had to leave as cushions were being moved, we were the only ones... Read more

Just stayed at Hotel Jazz for 3 nights and I'd highly recommend it. It's a great hotel for the price - the rooms are large with huge, comfortable beds and great showers - the staff are friendly and attentive - the location is perfect and central...a 5 min walk to Las Ramblas - the rooftop pool and bar is handy for a pit stop between sightseeing and dinner. We skipped the breakfast as there are several bakeries nearby (one next door) to pick something up instead.

This was a trip to celebrate with friends a Birthday & wedding anniversary. After looking at many hotels came across Hotel Jazz & after reading the trip advisor reviews had to book. Nice place to stay. Very modern and reasonably clean hotel, maybe a bit soulless even since it is very modern but not like in a boutique kind of way. Maybe not the place I would book for a romantic weekend away. Luckily I was in Barcelona for business on this occasion. Rooftop pool and bar are great. Breakfast was very good too. Staff was friendly enough, but not that extremely service oriented. All together a good experience in a modern hotel right in the city center. Would book again when in t... Read more

Barcelona is a relatively expensive city, and the Hotel Jazz does represent good value, with an excellent location in terms of walking to several areas of interest and transport connection points. A taxi from the airport cost approximately EUR 30.00 but there are also bus and metro options. The hotel has helpful staff members and the communal areas are well kept. We didn‚??t use the dining facilities, so can‚??t comment upon those (but as others have noted, there are numerous dining options wi... Read more

This is a great hotel. Nicely styled rooms, very spacious and comfortable. Modern bathrooms and facilities. Lacks a mirror in the room itself but there is a nice long one on the bathroom door. Noise is no issue at all even though this faces a main road. Did not try the breakfast as thought 14 euros each was pricy but went to el fornet across the road which is an absolutely gorgeous cafe where you can get coffees and pastries/sandwiches for 5 euros or so. Our flight arrived into Barcelona earlier than expected, after a 5 minute wait we were lucky enough to be given the keys to our room, the room was located on the 5th floor facing on to the main street, the room was plenty big enough, clean, plenty of space for clothing etc. with a nice good sized bathroom (with a big ... First class hotel in a perfect location for seeing the great city of Barcelona. Reception staff in the hotel were really friendly, the chambermaids spotless in their duties. I was pickpocketed in the elevator of the Jazz on 6/3/16. Front desk was "empathetic" but acknowledged the hotel has NO lobby or elevator surveillance cameras to discourage or identify thieves. My request to speak with a manager on a Friday (the day of the theft) was strongly rebuffed ("no manager available until Monday"). Only after I vigorously insisted did a manager email me. I politely suggested that security cameras, even fake ones, might save others from the same fate. After one month,... Read more

We actually booked a 1-bedroom apartment for the last 3 nights of our visit to Barcelona, and although the apartment was nice, we wish we would have stayed the entire time at Hotel Jazz!
