A little hard to notice but well located, walking distance to major streets. Fresh design, nice staff. My room had a dirty cup of coffee and the bathroom was not cleaned well. My bathroom sink retained the water because it is not properly placed, I think. Check yours before you do anything. Rooms are small and walls are very thin. If your your neighbor decides to show up after you went to bed - you'll be awaken. It feels like whatever they do in the corridor is done in your room. Breakfast is g... Read more

The only good thing about this hotel is his location. In one direction it is a 20 minutes walk to La Sagrada Familia, and 20 minutes walk in the opposite direction to the sea. The hotel was only three years old but it was observed a lot of conditional and cleanliness issues throughout the property. For example the wallpaper were heavily scratched in the guest room corridors. The sofa were worn at the bar and chairs upholstery discolored. In the room, hairs were noted on the coffee making facilit... Read more

My room was large. Excellent surprise the hi-fi facility. I didn't have to open the tv to listen to the radio. Wonderful coffee machine, a quick espresso for the morning. I stayed in room 601, a big room with double bed and a terrace overlooking the swimming pool (must for smokers like me). Only regret, it didn't have a bathtub. Some neighbors were a bit noisy but this is not the hotel's fault. And I think that the staff could have been a hair more helpful. Oh! I forgot the excellent breakfast.

When we arrived all was good with the check in and the hotel. We first went for some lunch and then headed to our room. We were disappointed at the size of the room and the lack of view (centre of hotel shaft) but we got unpacked and thought we'd make do.. then after 30 mins we realised the air con was not working, we called down to reception and they sent a maintenance man up who also could not get it to work.. We revisited this property in May this year, the last one being a year ago. First, the hotel double charged my credit card when we did prepaid booking. We called the IHG center and the hotel found a computer error and did the refund. I then told them this should not happen as the bank was always the winner because of the commission they charged in the exchange rate. Then the hotel said they would credit us Euro 10 in my account when I check in plus a possible upgrade. Very thoughtful and nice. ... Read more

Check-in was a disaster. We booked a package clearly listed on the hotel website. The package included breakfast + dinner along with the room. The package was a lot pricier because of this but we liked the convenience of having food included because we knew we were going to be too exhausted to find dinner on the first day because it was jam packed with sight-seeing tours. Upon check-in, the two ladies at reception said "Our hotel doesn't have this package you are lying" "In my life I have neve... Read more

A few weeks after, when all of us arrived- we found out non of the rooms we chose were reserved for us! We weren't sure about booking this hotel as it was not affiliated with a larger group. It actually is part of the Hilton group I think...(one of the big banner ones anyhow). First room we were given was overlooking the street. If you are not used to sleeping in the city, ask for a courtyard view room. they are MUCH more quite. We stayed on the 6th floor but the lift is slow to say the least and we took the stairs most times so ask for a lower floor if this is an issue. The hotel is very clean with an exterior swimming pool, the rooms are modern and very confortable and the people are very professional.I have appreciated the possibility to do a coffee or a tea direct in my room. I f the weather is good enough as it's quite usual in Barcelone you can take your continental breakfast outside just near the swimming pool.

We spent three nights at the Indigo in mid-June 2016. The hotel is ideally situated on one of the main roads through the city, close to attractions and transport links. A taxi from the airport at 6pm cost 30 euros, the train had they not been on strike would have been about 8 euros. If you are looking for nicly located Hotel - that is the one. She is close to main attractions or within Walking distance, Staff is super friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated. This is my second time there, so my advice - if you can - please ask for the room with the pool view. If you have a room facing main street - it can be noisy. The rooms - you might find them a bit narrow, but offer good comfort and rest area is nicely furnished. And yes - one more- good coffee maker is there as well.

On arrival we thought there was going to be an issue with our room as there wasn't any of the room type we had booked available. The polite receptionist sorted a really spacious upgraded executive room for us which had ample space even with another bed for our son. Location is great, just a couple of mins from Plaza Catalunya and more importantly the amazing La Boqueria market was only 10 mins walk. Everything you need is local to the hotel - food, shopping, and bars. Turn the other way out of ... Read more

Good design comfortable. Good location also, nearby you can find nice restaurantes. Break fase not si good so I did enjoy breakfast out side the hotel and it was worthy. A bit expensive but enjoyable.

The hotel is located in the Eixample district which is a great location in easy walking distance to popular attractions (Las Ramblas, the gothic quarter, and the stunning Gaudi structures La Sagrada Familia, La Petrera and Casa Batllo). It was even an easy nice walk to Park GĂĽll and other nice districts such a El Born and El Raval. From outside the hotel blends nicely in the neighborhood, as only the little hotel sign shows it is a hotel. The inside is just beautiful and touches the soul of ... Read more

This hotel is middle of the city. Very nice modern rooms in a very modern hotel as such. Perfect service at the reception and best service in the bar by Ema. She made the visit unforgettable by here way of service and professionalism. Food is as always in Barcelona on high level. You also need to taste the Sangria at the hotel. One of the best in Barcelona.

We spent two nights at this hotel and thought everything was great. The location is up the hill and a little bit away from the busier sections of the city which is nice. Our second floor room on the street was quiet and had a nice balcony overlooking the street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Please see our review 22 October. It refers to us paying for your hotel, not being allowed to change dates on a 'semi flexible' booking, not staying there and being charged in full. DAVID URBANOS from Indigo explained on 28 October on Trip Adviser how he treats complaints seriously and how we will be reimbursed, if we have not already been reimbursed. We weren't reimbursed. Be very careful if you choose to book this hotel. Don't trust ' and this Hotels 'semi flexible' booking policy -... Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - the staff at the front desk and in the bar were charming and helpful, and the interior decor refreshingly different. The best thing was the leaflet in our room detailing nearby foodie finds - great delis, bakeries and a market, all within 20 mins walk.

As a guest celebrating our honeymoon this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The location is great in the middle of the city and walking distance from many of the local food places and attractions.... Which is a hallmark of the hotel indigo brand. The room was quaint and lovely decorated with nuances of Gaudi designs which the city is famous for. Even before we arrived the staff were very patient I'm dealing with us and helping us. They went above their duty to help us with train tickets and... Read more
