Hotel Call is an excellent choice in the heart of La Rumbla. The rooms are ideal for those seeking something basic in Barcelona's best location. Travelers can find a diverse range of authentic Spanish food and culture, as well as bus and train stations, within walking distance. A massive drawcard is their faultless Wi-Fi, which is a lifesaver for those travelling on business or leisure. The 24 hour staff ensure you are able to arrive at your leisure, while cleaning staff keep rooms tidy and comf... Read more

This hotel was definitely in the heart of the Gothic quarter (In future I'd stay a street or two behind La Ramblas as the Gothic quarter is difficult to navigate). The twin beds were clean and the wifi was excellent. The staff are friendly. The room itself was very small and there was an exposed crack from top to bottom. The paint in the bathtub was peeling and the bathroom smelt of sulphur at times. We paid an exorbitant price (local football game weekend!) and I'm quite disappointed. Given the... Read more

Stayed here in May 2016. Location was great but the room was worse than expected. You could hear the snoring and talking from other rooms. Make sure you get some ear plugs with you. Room also felt like a jail cell with a window that looks out to closed alley.

This hotel is in a great location for a great price. The room was cleaned daily with the option of fresh towels. The safe was a bit tricky to use but we managed to get the hang of it. On our first day we had a short sleep in the afternoon as we had been up early for our flight. This is when I discovered how thin the walls were. We could hear every word the couple were saying next door which woke us up. The following morning I was woken by the person the other side playing music and having a sh... Read more

Power went out multiple times because the plugs can't handle an iPad charger. Room were not clean. Wall are thin and you can hear everything. You better bring ear plugs if your room is near the elevator!!!! Incompetent staff. You'd be better at an hostel.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days in july 2016. The hotel is very close to almost everything. It is close to the habour, many restaurants and the Picasso Museum. However, the walls were very thin and we could hear the water clearly every time someon went into the shower which was really annoying. Our view from the window was right into a wall, so there was no sunlight, which was a bit annoying. But the bathroom and space in the room was good compared to the price. The wifi was really good!

The room was really small and with moquette on the floor, but everything looked cleaned. There was a little window in the room but the view was horrible. It should be cheaper compered to what they give to you. The position was perfect because it's in the center. It's ok for sleeping.

The hotel is located close to Calle de la Bogheria, near La Rambla. Rooms are very small and little bit dirty, without windows and with very old accessories/facilities (TV, bathroom, closet). No frigobar accessible. It is good to sleep one night (it is very quiet), but the price (95EUR/n) was too high for it.

This hotel was incredibly dirty, dirty walls, dirty ceiling, dirty mouldy bathrooms and dirty carpets. The only thing that seem to have been clean was the linen and the towels. I found the water throughout Barcelona drinkable except in my hotel, it smelled and tasted funny. Did I meant there were also small ants in my room, well there were. The AC either didn't work or worked so poorly that it actually got hotter rather than cooler. The location is in a area close to some tourist things, but... Read more

Headline says it all. Staff were friendly, but room felt like a prison cell, air conditioning was minimal, no windows (window opened into elevator shaft, so, sorry, no window) - would be a total firetrap in an emergency. Carpet and walls were dirty. Room had a strange smell, like sewer. Location is good but I'd give this a pass.

Our double room in fact was a family room, one double and 2 single beds, hence the room was huge . Nice sized bathroom with bath and shower. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. only faults we could say was that there was no tea and coffee making facility in the rooms, which I assume is not a criteria for their star rating . Also the noise level was on the loud side from within the building and from outside. Hotel is very centrally located for all the facilities. Would recommend and w... Read more

We stayed here for a long weekend to Barcelona. The room was extremely basic, I don't even think we had a TV in our room. No hair dryer etc., although it was very clean and basic it would have been nice to at least have a window in our room. Other than that, this hotel was very centrally located and walking distance to all sights.

Location is excellent, and just 2 minutes away from Las Ramblas and 7 minutes to Plaza Catalunya. The rooms are clean, proper and small but they DON'T HAVE ANY WINDOWS. There is no fresh air. Personally, I had a bad experience with my grandmother because her room was very small, with a strange design and without any ventilation, she had breathing and sleeping problems during the night. The personal reacted in a very correct way and changed her of room to one with a window that lead to a dark inn... Read more

Pleasant enough hotel, easy to find and right in the heart of Barcelona. Easy access to transport from the hotel with tourist info office very near. Reception helpful with ideas of what you might want to do. Room was very basic but clean and comfortable. No breakfast available but not necessary as amenities were very close. Someone on the desk 24hr. Hotel mostly quiet; some noise level late evening, though still slept well.

I booked a budget hotel because I have no need for stay in the room. I just demand cleanness, working shower, good bed, proper WIFI connection. I came into the room and noticed 3 empty/half empty bottles next to the bed, super. I took a shower and found three empty shampoo containers at the shower, super I opened the window, just to look in to a wall 1/2 meter away, super I noticed a Coke bottle used as ashtray by previous guests, super. Reception staff was nice and friendly. I was not aware I h... Read more
