02/5-16 We decide to put "do not clear our room" sign, and then they did it anyways and my items got stolen. My headphones, watch money all gone they even opened my suitcase. Even though if you leave it inside your suitcase be sure to lock it. The cleaning is bad, i recognize that the sheets isnt switched out. In the toilets i can see that there are some brown dots on the walls before we came and its some strong smell inside the room and outside. The place in barcelona is not that bad but the wi... Couldnt fault the hotel, good location right near the metro station to the centre. Room was very nice and modern although the room didnt get cleaned the 5 nights we was there. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

This hotel is located in a quiet area of Barcelona yet all the key areas are easily accessible by the Metro. There are a number of stations that are close to this hotel. We arrived late and we greeted with a warm friendly staff who swiftly checked us in. Our 5th floor room was spacious with a lovely large balcony facing the Hospital. Contrary to the previous review, our room was cleaned every day and towels replaced. We stayed here in early May 2016 for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. The sta... Read more

Decent hotel with good and clean facilities. Breakfast is basic but OK. The hotel is located close to metro stations, so excellent location is an excellent starting point for visiting several places throughout the city.

I've been in this hotel for a leisure weekend. Overall it was an average experience: reasonable room, helpful staff, very nice cafeteria. But there are a few cons: 1) Noisy environment, at least near my room. 2) Rates above 100 Euro/night, in my view too much for this hotel: I payed similar rates for 4/5 stars luxury hotels. 3) Not very central, but it's OK just need to ride the metro for about five stops. If you find a good deal you might want to try this out, otherwise perhaps is better to tr... Read more

I have just returned from the hotel, it was a nice clean, very freindly hotel , the only downside for me was the lack of tea making facilities , but staff where lovely and very helpful , room very clean and comfortable, its very close to sagrada about ten minutes walk, not a lot of nightlife but some lovely very Spanish bars on street leading to sagrada , the metro station for the yellow line is just up road from hotel this takes you to ramblas ,the port and the picasso museum, I got a taxi to p... The hotel is just around 5-10 minutes away from the Sagrada Familia along avenue Gaudi, so it is really quite a pleasant walk. The prices were good, the hotel bar carried a good selection of food and drinks which were very reasonable priced. The breakfast buffet is quite varied from savory to sweet, so there should be something to satisfy everyone. The staff is helpful and there is a convenience store and a supermarket less than 30 seconds away, so very convenient. There are also plenty of resta... Read more

Modest but comfortable hotel in a quiet area of ????Sant Pau. Close to a few metro lines, next to a beautiful old Sant Pau hospital. Rooms are simple and clean. We had a double room with balconony, There was a fridge and safety at the room. You can find lot of restaurant near the hotel, especially from Gaudi Avenua (goes from Sagrada Familia to Sant Pau hospital). Breakfest was simple but good. Staff was really friendly. We had a lovely visit at the hotel, thank you!

Three of us stayed at this quaint hotel. It was clean, great location, and quiet. The bed was typical euro style. The bar and restaurant downstairs was also really convenient. They stored our luggage at no cost!

I stayed in the Amrey Sant Pau hotel for five nights in June, 2016. The hotel is based quite close to the Sagrada Familia, and is well located with metro stations dotted around it. The good parts were that the room was extremely clean, with comfortable beds, a large bathroom and a television. The bad parts were that our room overlooked the main road making it quite noisy, the room did not have a safe in it (I believe there are safes available in reception for a fee, but I didn't want to pay that... We had a 3 day family stop over after a cruise. Only a 20euro cab ride from the port we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Both our rooms had balconies which were great for some panic tanning and having A quiet drink in the evening. Located near restaurants bars and supermarkets everything was at hand. Also convenient for underground and the famous segrada familia. We bought a two day metro pass which was a real bonus as everything is spread out the metro is fantastic and get... Read more

I have just got back from a week staying at this hotel in Barcelona with my mum. It was just right for our needs; somewhere comfortable and simple. It is easily accessible using the metro, is a 15 minute walk from the Sagrada Familia, and is nearby to many shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Despite this, it seemed a relatively quiet part of town. The room was very clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We opted for B&B, and as both my mum and myself are gluten intolerant we ... Read more

This hotel room was just about average the breakfast wasn't all of that as there wasn't much variety and the air conditioning didn't work in our room properly the room was however clean which was good. We had asked for a double bed in our room but they had provided us with two single beds which was extremely annoying. There was no safe, minibar or kettle on the room which was annoying and inconvenient

This hotel got a poor rating due to disappointing customer service from both bar staff and management (more of that later). The hotel itself is easy to get to via the Metro from either the airport or main line train stations. The closest Metro station is Camp De l'Arpa (line 5 - blue), which is about 5 mins walk. Some attractions were 15 mins walk away but closer to 60 mins walk for beach and other main attractions. We favoured walking to Metro, bus, tram and train, despite the heat. Check... Read more

The rooms were basic but nice, just what we needed as we visited Barcelona to do lots of sightseeing! Very clean rooms and comfortable beds and maids came to clean every day and provided with fresh towels. Staff were friendly. All in all, a good 4 nights spent here

This hotel offers you simple, clean room with only basic stuff. It's just a decent place to stay for several nights, nothing special, but the city is awesome, so you won't spend much time in the hotel.

Stayed here as I had dislocated and fractured my shoulder a week earlier in Toledo and had to have follow up x-rays at Sant Pau Hospital. Hotel is fantastically located literally almost across from main entrance to hospital. Right next door to Sant Pau Hospital (outside of hotel main doors, look to RIGHT and go across road and down on right hand side is main entry). Do not walk across road and continue down left hand street - this is the VERY, VERY long way around (as we unfortunately found o... Read more

I really liked that the beds were assigned and each person had a locker. Downsides- You have to bring your own lock, which I was prepared for, adn you have to rent a towel for 2 euro (I had my own). Otherwise, it was in the perfect place, very close to Plaza Mayor. The actual building was nice, and everything was clean.

If your fit enjoy walking and want to save your money and have the peaceful living at night this place is for you. Plenty of public transport bus and train and taxi within 2-3 minutes of the hotel. All major attractions are within 2-3 km of walking. For example Gaudi's casa and the Sagrada Familia. The hotel is next to a museum which is beautiful and historical. Not far from the hotel 10 minute walk is the brewery which you can visit during the day. Plenty of supermarkets around and quite s... Read more

This hotel was pretty nice. Super close to the metro and the staff is very friendly and willing to help their customers. The bar/cafe has a friendly staff as well. The rooms on the other hand aren't the best. They don't have ice machines on the floors so every time you want to get ice you have to ask the bartender. The beds are hard and quite uncomfortable, especially for our 7 night stay. The people who were staying above us also were extremely loud. The room was clean, and the maids were aweso... Read more

We arrived, eventually after a long transfer from airport, at our hotel at 10pm. Hungry and tired we went across to SG 47 on the opposite side of square for cheap tasty food. Continental breakfast was good in pleasant surroundings. Rooms small, clean and air-conditioning a must, but can dry your nose out. I strongly advise doing the city tour on the Barcelona Bus Touristic. It is ?28 per day or ?39 for 2 days. (?2 discount if you buy through hotel) It takes you all around the sightseei... Read more

This hotel is an ideal base to explore Barcelona. Has a brilliant view of the beautiful Sant Pau Hospital, close to metro stations, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. You can easily walk to Sagrada Famillia from the hotel (which is a must!) or a taxi ride from La Rambla costs around 15 euros. The coffee and pastries are lovely in the hotel bar/ cafe and is a very peaceful place to take a quiet moment. The hotel was extremely clean with friendly staff. We stayed at Amrey Sant Pau from the 3rd of September until the 11th. A pleasant surprise from their side was that they let us choose between the double room we booked and an apartment in the nearby aparthotel that they own, without any budget difference. They said this was possible because we had a longer stay than the average (8 nights). We're glad we chose the apartment instead of the double room. It was very spacious, with very good quality appliances (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave... Read more

Nice basic hotel at 200 meters from 2 metrostations (L4 +L5) and buses passing the hotel. Breakfast is very good, rooms are basic but good exept the beds; they were too hard for us but that might be personal.
