This is our second visit and this time we took a superior room. It was smaller than the standard room and no seating facilities. The second room did have a Juliet balcony overlooking the plaza but standing room only. We would have gladly swapped for our first room with ample space and seating at the window.

Visited Barcelona 15th April and stayed in room 211. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel welcome, checked in but room not available(it was midday) were advised that we were able to leave luggage and use the amenities on floor P, there was coffee tea soft drinks and cava available as well as snacks. Room was available half an hour later. Room was lovely, French doors lead to a small balcony which overlooked the square, only concern was room was a little hot but we were a... Read more

Just back from a three day break at this hotel which was top class. only small negative point was the room could have been larger but at the same time it contained everything you could need. On first night complimentary bottle of cava, meat platter and fruit platter delivered to the room! great touch! Staff were so friendly and helpful and bar staff really knowledgeable. Breakfast was outstanding in a beautiful dining room with great views over Catalyuna Plaza.

right on the Placa Catalunya, nice rooms, great staff. Easy access to the metro. Perfect spot to get to from the airport- the Metrobus takes you directly to the Placa Catalunya, right across the square from the hotel, a 1 minute walk. You'll be at the top of the Rambla, Corte Ingles is on the corner, wonderful restaurants abound in the neighborhood.

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May. The room itself was pretty small even though we got the 'deluxe square room'. There was a bed, small desk and two nightstands. There was a big enough closet with a safe. The bathroom was an adequate size, but there was very little counter space. We liked having the bathrobes. The A/C was very quiet and effective. The wifi was good, too. There were two highlights: 1. Location - This hotel is right in the center of everything. It was super easy to navigat... Read more

The good: nice buffet provided during day; free water; great location across from Catalunya Plaza; hop on hop off bus starts right across the street; plenty of taxis around; Elizabeth was a wonderful clerk helping us get acclimated ! The bad: tight quarters

Right near las ramblas, lots going on nearby! We couldnt hear the street from our room but we could hear the lift! As lovely as it is, avoid staying on the 4th floor if you are a light sleeper. Room and bathroom were great sizes and we had a lovely bottle of cava and chocolates on the evening of our arrival (for free). They also provide complimentary water, cava, snacks, coffee, tea etc from 12-4 daily. The courtyard was so lovely too!

This hotel could not be better positioned its in the heart of the city on Catalunya Plaza. From Del Prat Airport buses take you on a 25mins journey ( cost 26 euros return). The hotel small and boutique styled is well staffed who are excellent . We opted for our 3 day stay and upgraded to a suite which are situated at the front overlooking the plaza. Some reviews comment about noise but we didn't find it an issue. Complimentary nibbles and drinks are served in the lounge area every afternoon fro... Read more

We stayed for seven nights in a room with a terrace, a feature which is over-hyped on the hotel's website and over-priced for what it is. There was no parasol/sunshade on the terrace and we requested the provision of this facility on no less than four occasions. It took three days to comply with our request. The bedroom was clean and tidy but some areas were in need of redecoration. The Reception staff were very pleasant and most obliging. We partook of the complimentary buffet on one occasion ... This hotel has a lot of positives. Central location with great transport links, helpful staff, nice touches such as complementary cava and free drinks/nibbles in the bar each afternoon, and tasteful modern decor. The main downside however is the soundproofing of our room, you could hear everything in the corridor. Every morning we were woken by the maids, not because they were particularly noisy, but because the room had no insulation.

We stayed here for 2 nights following a cruise and it was fine for our needs. Just across the street from Catalunya Plaza and the hop on/hop off bus drop off and on Las Ramblas, it was easy to get around from here. The hotel is very modern but in a old building, staff is friendly and helpful. The standard room was probably the tiniest hotel room we've ever encountered, barely enough space to walk around the bed and almost no place to put our luggage. But we were in the room so little it hard... Read more

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at this hotel. Location is great, just a couple of blocks away from La Rambla and Paseo de Gracia, walking distance from main attractions. Staff was really nice, room was quiet despite being located on busy Plaza de Catalunya. Plenty of restaurants around. Metro station is across the street, however taxi rides are not very expensive.

Most important, windows are really soundproof and aircondition works very well. A big plus of this hotel is the staff - very nice and very friendly, helpful with everything. GREAT LOCATION, but everything else leaves a sour taste. You are at the heart of Plaza Catalunya and Barcelona's tourist district. BUT... Rooms are extremely small, you feel claustrophobic at one point. The size of a walking closet. Walls are REALLY paper thin. You hear everything.
