Τhe hotel is ideally located next to the metro station and only 2 stops from the city center. Τhe room had great view of the Sagrada Famillia and was very clean..The staff was very polite .I would definitely recommend the specific hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eurostars Monumental. Although smaller than the North American hotels we are used to, our room was sparkling clean and comfortable. The marble tiled bathroom included a shower/tub combination, as well as a bidet. It was modern and nicely decorated. I would like to have had face cloths and a few more towels in the bathroom, however, expect they would have been provided if we had asked. Although the Room isn't huge, the location is excellent! It is close to the... Read more

Rooms are clean and average size. Clean, quite big bathroom. Breakfast is ok. Next to the Monumental metro, and easy get to any direction. Located on the street so if you like to sleep with windows open, would be a problem. in general a I would expect a bit lower price, however still quite ok for stay.

lovely room and location was perfect as it was a short walk to metro. Staff were brilliant as we are two ladies in our 60s who had never booked a holiday on line we were grateful for any help given. The reception girls mapped out our excursions and couldnt do enough for us. It was a pleasure to stay there. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room but this is only a minor thing

Hi! I stayed in this hotel last November. I realy like it. Charming hotel, very clean, i loved my room, the staff were very nice people. We have had a great breakfast and dinner. We can visit the "Sagrada Familia" going there by foot. Very well situeded because you have the bus or the subway to go any where. Definily i will stay there for the next time. From the hotel to the aeroport you have the subway and then the aerobus in Ramblas. Thank you!!

Hotel was centrally located and in walkable distance to the famous La Sagrada Família. Short walk to metro. Rooms are clean and decent in size. Breakfast was ok and nothing great to write about. Reception was helpful and can book a shuttle to airport on request. Fast food joints and supermarkets nearby to grab some food on the go was a plus.

Friendly and attentive staff. Luis was excellent. We were on our honeymoon and had a tiny room (w a double bed) & tripping over luggage and each other. He upgraded our room to a large room, the next day. The bathrooms are nice w a good size tub. The Hotels location was a little far from La Rambla, the beach and Gothic area but is close to Sagrada Familia. We walked most places averaging 7-10 miles a day so the location was a plus bc then we were able to eat and drink more without worrying abou... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights. It's a modern style hotel that is very close to Sagrada Familia. It's a good 20 mins walk to the Gothic Quarter. Rooms and bathrooms are well fitted and some rooms have a large balcony with sun loungers as well as chairs.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. As an American accustomed to spacious living, the one bedroom upgraded suite with balcony and sun deck and a backside view of la Sagrada de Familia was quite nice and unusually spacious for European standards. We got the room online for around 203. euros (including tax and service fee) and with breakfast. All staff spoke perfect English and were very pleasant. Be sure to walk with your converter to charge your gadgets. As Barcelona was known for pick pocke... Read more

We stayed here 6 years ago. Recently, I did a thorough search of hotels with a view of the Sagrada familia church and this hotel came up again as the best. we stayed 6 nights in a junior suite on the 8th floor and had an incredible view of the church. This room has a giant patio, not just a small balcony. It had a table and chairs as well as 2 lounge chairs. We had a wonderful view of both the sunrise and sunset. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but the eggs and a few other dishes were no... Read more

We booked online so had a great deal, including breakfast. Great location - only a 5 minute walk away from the Sagrada! The Monumental station is also right outside the hotel which gets you to Catalunya/las ramblas in 15 minutes. Our room was on the higher floors which provided a beautiful view of Barcelona and the hotel itself is very quiet/walls aren't thin which is a bonus. The breakfast was average quality but a good selection including breads, fruits, meats, cheese, eggs, small pastries and... Read more

This hotel lost luggage that we left for safekeeping in their storage room. We had the ticket, but they could not find the luggage. Since their service of luggage keeping is for free we were not offered any compensation. Since only staff has access to storage room somebody at the hotel must know what has happened, but we were only met with shrugs.

I booked 2 rooms here for 3 nights with my nieces last month. Our room was spacious, bed is comfy and clean. It is very close to the Sagrada Familia. The downside was about the room of my nieces. It was not that big for it is located at the 1st floor and the one that makes me upset was the air conditioning, it wasn't working. And you can smell in this floor cigarette smokes and drainage smell. I've spoke with the staffs in the reception, they told me that they will highlighted the problem, bu... Read more

The hotel was in a great location for the attractions, clean and friendly staff. I'd booked a double bed an got 2 singles pushed together. Not very romantic. Could've done with a kettle in the room. Would put me off using again if they can't provide a double bed.

Wow we had an amazing time in Barcelona. We stayed 3 nights in a balcony room which had views to The sagrada familia. It was a fabulous room with an ensuite, useful minibar and a spacious balcony. The staff were all lovely and really helpful and answered all of our questions. We also were able to book tickets for attractions at reception. We had breakfast included and there was a lovely selection of hot and cold items juices and coffee. The monumental Metro Station is almost adjacent to the hote... Read more

My bedroom was rather smaller than I would have expected. Not really a problem for me, as I was by myself and only staying for one night. But it would have been a little awkward if I'd been travelling with Mrs Maximus, as the bed was pushed right up against the wall and there was consequently only a bedside table on one side of the bed. But other than that, no complaints at all. The front desk staff were perfectly professional. There was free wifi that worked well. The room, despite its small s... Read more

Everything seems new and clean and the room service is perfect ( believe me - no idiots waking you up at 8am , if you ask to clean the room they do, everything is clean). Zero noises if windows closed. Excellent view to La Sa Grada. Close to metro, close to Centrum close to beach you can walk, y9u can take a taxi at La Sa Grada, the location is perfect. City bus station is 5 min walk, lot if great restaurants around. Attendance stuff speaks English. Did not checked the breakfasts and the ho... Read more

We stayed two nights in this hotel and our stay was good, very nice staff, clean room, and the best of all was the view we had from our balcony to the sagrada familia. The balcony was big and cute! It only took us about 5-7 minutes walking to the sagrada familia, we walked everywhere else too, but around the hotel there are several metro stations with easy access if you rather use public transportation. The parking lot looked a little creepy, but people were nice and we were able to get in and o... Read more
