As soon as our cab stopped outside the Hotel a member of the reception staff quickly came out to get the cases. All staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. The hotel is in an excellent location, not too far from the main shopping area but just far enough to be away from the hustle, bustle and noise. We loved it and plan to return later in the year.

The Best Western Premier Hotel Dante is FANTASTIC! We stayed twice during our trip to Spain. If available, request the 7th floor with the terrific patio and view of the city. However, on our second stay we had a different room that was equally comfortable. The staff at the Hotel Dante make it extra special!! Antonio and Martin went out of their way to make us (and ALL guests) feel special and see to our needs. They gave excellent tips about the city. The hotel is located close to many of ... Read more

Summer 2016 Clean but dark room without windows! Make sure you don't get one of those! Good location, near bus and train stops! Central location nice walk to the centre of town! Average selection for breakfast Staff very friendly throughout our stay

Me and my Mum decided to get away before Christmas. I'm a worrier when it comes to accommodation even if it's just for a mini break where you spend little time in the room. I had nothing to worry about! This hotel was lovely! It took us 20 minutes to get there from the airport with the private transfers we'd booked. The lobby area is welcoming, plenty of magazines, newspapers and a little bar which does food also. The receptionists were very welcoming and as we'd come in on an early flight d... Read more

Our travel agent in Malaysia made arrangements and booked a group of 14 of us to this hotel for our extended stay in Barcelona. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful and comfortable stay. The hotel's location was within walking distance to the city centre - Plaça de Catalunya, Las Ramblas and Gaudi's La Pedrera. A supermarket, shops and restaurants are nearby to the hotel. My spouse and I even found a small restaurant nearby and had a tasty dinner of chinese fried rice, noodles and sou... Read more

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Best Western Dante. You can't beat the location for this price, 3 blocks from Paseo de Gracia, plenty of bars and restaurants. The room size is decent by Barcelona standards. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They gave us another room with a king size bed. When you walk to Paseo de Gracia, don't miss Cerveceria Catalana on Mallorca, 2 blocks from the hotel, the best Tapas place in Barcelone.

Our room was on the top floor, overlooking some office buildings and with a view of a church. A small but serviceable balcony to take in the view. The room was nicely decorated, most of it looked new, although the carpet was a little threadbare. There was a kettle and tray of tea/coffee, although these were not replenished every day. The interior walls were thinner than in my own home. Not only could I hear our next door neighbour shower, I could hear his conversation over the sound of the TV. P... Read more

We spent a week here and couldn't fault it. The room was great, the staff friendly and helpful and the huge, varied buffet breakfast was excellent, set you up for the day! There were plenty of restaurants and bars close by and the metro a few minutes walk away. Would definitely return.

This was a nice hotel with a decent sized room and very nice bathroom. The rates were reasonable for Barcelona, but the hotel did not really offer anything extra, just a nice clean room. Bar and restaurant were marginal and could not compete with other restaurants in this area.

Not in the noise but a short walk to the center of it all. We like to stay away from the tourist traps to eat and one of the front desk people told us where he goes with friends and family for real tapas. i wish i remembered his name because he was very helpful (the others at the frontdesk didn't act like they wanted to be there). He booked the tickets to the Sagrada Familia for us. They are needed in advance to not wait in line.
