Been a view times in the beautiful Barcelona. The hotel is really good. it has a top location. The room is very good with good beds, a fully flled fridge and a nice bathroom. The breakfast is also very good. You get two baskets with several breads and you have a menucard where you can choose what to eat. My wife and i had an anniversary. Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during our stay in Barcelona with my other half and it was a pleasant stay overall. Hotel's best quality is its amazing location...Right at the centre of gothic quarters but still located in a quiet spot which means you are literally on the middle of everything and still get peace and quiet during the night. Walking distance to most of the main areas that we wanted to explore; the Gothic town, Placa de Catalunya and the waterfront/beaches! Even the Segrada Familia was close enough to walk (45 mins). Highly recommended as a base for exploring Barcelona! Would stay again when visiting this awesome city!

This hotel is very convenient because it's close to a lot of tourist destinations like the buildings made by Gaudi and the rooms are also quite spacious making it a very comfortable place to stay in. Even though this hotel is quite pricy and the swimming pool is quite petite, I would still recommend it as the service is pretty good.

This modern, spacious hotel is right in the area you will want to be for your time in Barcelona, on the edge of Bari Gotic, easily the most interesting part of this great city. Stayed here with my husband & 9year old son. Fantastic central location for exploring this fantastic city & close to a large number of great restaurants. Attractive rooms & helpful staff. Swimming pool an added bonus. One of the best hotels we've been to. We stayed April 2016. Cannot beat the location. Corner room / family suite for 2 and 2 kids. Plenty of room. They quoted us a lower price via email than the internet, but still honored it (I would've paid the higher price). Honestly, we were very please with the hotel.

What a lovely hotel. Really friendly on check in, efficient and helpful with luggage storage so we could make the most of our second day on check out. Room was huge and really comfy. I stop away on business a lot and always fear the carbon copy hotels when booking for leisure. This certainly was not one! Big comfy bed and lovely soft bedding. Don't forget to grab a cocktail! Overall, great hotel in central location.

The location is phenomenal, but the rooms could use some TLC and some updating. i am sure that when it first opened it was great. The high rating on Tripadvisor is misleading. We expected MUCH better. it is just an average hotel.

Modern hotel, located in a quiet area close to the Rambla. Superb service at front desk and in the restaurant. Breakfast is delicious with good bread, and you can enjoy it outside in the back yard. Drinks in the bar are HUGE. Rooms are good, and best hotel wifi we have tried for long - it also worked splendid at the room. The hotel has a couple of bikes for use by the guests. Nice pool at the top of the hotel, but we didn't try it. Highly recommendable hotel

The different activities of so many artists who perform in the square nearby exciting to watch and enjoy. We had 3 nights at Hotel Barcelona Caterdral and would certainly return. The location is just off the Cathedral Square and is in the Gothic quarter. The room was quiet and comfortable, the staff were very helpful with directions and bookings. Only problem was lack of iron and ironing board, asked at reception each morning and evening to be told they were all being used. Maybe they need to invest in a few more! Apart from that minor inconvenience the stay was very enjoyable

The hotel was recommended to us by friends who had recently traveled to Barcelona. The central location is ideal for exploring the Old City and the Gothic Quarter. The reception area and rooms are luxurious and present very well. The breakfast represented good value. Staff are friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. The roof top pool was an unexpected bonus. I would unquestionably recommend this hotel to future visitors.

Just returned from a 3 night stay. We were placed on the first floor. The rooms and facilities were clean and of a high standard and we were very impressed with the location. We chose not to eat in the restaurant for breakfast as ‚?¨18 seemed a lot for the amount we would eat. Instead we opted for coffee and pastries next door at the Chocolat Box. We recently stayed in Barcelona at the Catedral. It is a beautiful hotel and an excellent location. The rooms were very clean and very modern. They breakfast in the AM was perfect. The only thing we forgot was to bring was an adapter for my straightening iron but the front desk did have an extra! If we go back to Barcelona we will be sure to stay there. The young men at the front desk (especially the day shift) were beyond helpful.

The hotel is very clean, the staff on reception were courteous and helpful. The room was modern and again very clean. We chose room only as breakfast seemed expensive at 18 euros per person and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel bar was often left unattended and the service was a little slow but we went out most days/evenings anyway. Great location to go on the open top bus tours and for shopping. Would definitely go again.

As many people have already said the hotel is in a perfect location. We enjoyed the terrace pool on our arrival and decided to pay extra for the breakfast which was excellent, although do not bother with the "picnic breakfast" if you have an early start/flight. It was an apple, water, kit kat biscuit. Not really worth the 18 Euros. We really enjoyed the free 10pm guided tour of the Old town. Would highly recommend this hotel.
