I spent two nights at the AC Victoria Suites and I enjoyed a great hotel with very friendly staff. The new breakfast area invites also to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. Definitely a recommendation for business folks.

Good overall - so between Average and Very good!! Stayed three nights (April) at the AC Victoria, conveniently located near the Polytechnic University (but quite far from the sea front (port Olympic) where there are many restaurant and night life...). I had a nice suite at the back - the street was quite but there was quite a bit of noise from surrounding rooms (wooden floors...). WiFi was free and OK to work. Tried the Santa Clara restaurant which was good. The bar was closed. Staff was friendl... Read more

My husband and I and another couple spent two days before and two days after our cruise at the AC Victoria Suites and the service was beyond excellent. My husband had his scooter and needed an outlet to keep it powered. We thought we bought the right outlet converter with us but turned out it didn't work. The electrician/handyman at the hotel converted the electric outlet for us to use. Wow!! When we returned for the second stay, we got the same room. The restaurant was convenient and the ... We stayed for five nights, mostly to sleep as we were out sight seeing the entire day. What we missed most was a kettle to make tea/coffee. The coffee maker provided did not function properly and we had to do with Luke warm water. A microwave in the room would have helped in warming food since the rooms are suites and should have its own. The staff were friendly and check in and check out was smooth and efficient. Would recommend it for business travellers rather than tourists since it is a... Read more

I've been there for a conference. I've received a two room suite with a balcony. The room is very modern, spacious and very clean. The hotel gives the guest all that small goodies that even other Marriott hotels don't give anymore such as toothbrush, shower cups, shaving razors and more. Bathrobes and shoes - just like a SPA. Their bath towels - the largest I've ever seen in a hotel. The hotel is located in a nice quiet neigbourhood near the Diagonal avenue. It is about 20 minutes walk from the... Read more

Me and my husband stayed here 2 nights in june. We got a very nice, spacious room. The hotel was very nice, the staff friendly and the breakfast had a lot to offer so we were very pleased with our stay here.

Contemporary comfortable hotel. The rooms are contemporary and we were in a suite which was very large compared to other European hotels. There was a refrigerator and stove (which we couldn't use without pans:)). There was not a microwave that we are used to having, but found other places to eat. There was a small pub around the corner called LA Rala that had very flavorful food. Our family ordered some margarita pizzas and veal hamburgers. My teenage boys said the burger was the most flav... The Hotel is modern and Clean. The Junior Suite is great, with a separated living room and small kitchen. The toilet is good with a bath tub. The Hotel also offers soap and all other things for a shower and hygiene. Only bad thing is the toilet door, it's made by glass and when you go to use it is impossible don't wake up who sleeping in a very close bed, no sound isolation. On the breakfast it's not served Bacon , what I miss. We had a dinner at Santa Clara restaurant, me and my wife wi... Read more

I stopped here on a business trip and was given room 1003. I'm not 100% sure why there were blinds on the balcony but the room itself I could not fault, it was spotlessly clean, and was composed of two rooms, a living room with a good size desk with two chairs and a sofa. the second room was the bedroom with a very very large bed which led into a very nice bathroom. The balcony itself was very big with a lounger and table and chairs, again I'm just not sure about the blinds. Breakfast had a ... Read more

We stayed at AC Victoria for 2 nights prior to our family cruise. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our rooms were beautiful, with all the amenities we needed. The hotel is a short walk from the metro. The city is absolutely beautiful and very easy to maneuver. Las Ramblas was one of the highlights of our time there. Two days is definitely not enough time to see everything. I hope to go back soon.

Prior to a two week cruise, our family of 7 stayed here for four days. We found it to be exactly as advertised and reviewed by others here on TripAdvisor, which is to say it was very good. A nondescript building and there is no pool, which we knew going in, but standing on the balcony of our room looking down at the 3 or 4 pools that the nearby buildings have at their base made it a little more difficult that it would've been otherwise. (Though i'm fairly certain these were apartment building... Read more

This hotel does not meet the standards of a Marriott. When I booked the room I felt that I booked the room with breakfast but at registration they stated this was not the case. The room was adequate. Our son was traveling with us and we requested a roll away bed which was very uncomfortable and at an additional 50 euros/night. There was a water main break when we were there. We were unable to take showers until late in the day. I went to the registration desk to see why we had no water, we were ... Read more

We traveled to Barcelona as part of our summer vacation to Spain. I decided to stay at the AC Hotel Victoria Suites since I try always to stay in Marriot Hotels for the consistency of its quality . We booked two suites , since we traveled with our two adults sons. The hotel was nice and quiet. Excellent breakfast and very courteous staff. We have a couple of issues with one of the suites: the air conditioning wasn't working and the room stayed warm and uncomfortable during the night. We request... Read more

An all suites hotel in a quiet, peaceful predominantly residential area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is decent and the dining areas, both internal and external, are attractive. The Metro is only around 5 minutes walk away, for those wishing to travel to the city centre. There are several restaurants close by and a small supermarket. The hotel is ideally situated for those planning to watch Barcelona play or do the Nou Camp tour. The stadium is around a 10 min walk. Staff we... Read more

Check in: My reservation was for two studio suites for one night. Due to my request for interconnected rooms we were placed in one big room and other small one both have one external door, was ok for my one night with kids. Services: I wonder how it is rated as 4 stars, no lobby, entrance is just a desk. No bell personnel, you need to carry your luggage to your room!! Elevators are too old and very small. Strange smell of humidity and old wood but disappear in the room. Rooms: The rooms were ... Read more

So far our favorite Marriott branded hotel in our 3 week long trip. A bit small suite but adequate. Amenity and decoration was very modern and clean and Nespresso machine in the room too! Breakfast was good as well. Its 10-15 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Front desk service was great too. They had hard time calling for taxi due to Saturday and lunch time. One staff walked to the street and hailed a taxi for us in humid 90 plus degree heat. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a delightful stay at this Marriott property. The room consisted of a living room, a large bedroom with king-size bed, a spacious bath, a coffee and refreshment area and a wonderful enclosed balcony that ran the length of the suite (great place of storing luggage, enjoying a morning coffee and letting our clothes dry. The room was most comfortable and very clean throughout our stay. Service was friendly and helpful during our eight days here; they even helped us find a "lavan... Read more

Many of the hotel common areas are worn and dark. Our room was nice, but chopped up into 3 rooms, one of which was a large useless conference room. The dining area was nice and we enjoyed a great dinner one evening. Service overall was good. The hotel is too far from the city center. We spent too much time traveling to the notable areas of Barcelona. It's okay, but not worth the price given the distance and the inconsistent condition of the property.

Very good rooms! Breakfast is ok! Location is pretty good! Gym is inexistent (almost) / staff are polite! As I am here at a business trip I can't say about the cost benefit but I would come back to this hotel without a problem.

Family room was upgraded for to a suite f.o.c. which was great 2 bedrooms lounge and bathroom all very modern. Secure underground car park. Short walk to underground station for train to Barcelona centre( approx. ?4 return and 20 minutes). Very good continental breakfast with a couple of hot options on it.

Had 2 awesome experiences at this hotel. Oscar who worked in the restaurant was a pleasure to deal with. He was extremely friendly and even suggested some local things to visit, his English was perfect. Natalia who works at the front desk helped us get back my wife's jewelry that was mistakenly left in the safe in our room. We can't be more grateful. I am a loyal Marriott customer who spends between 30-40 nights in a hotel and this was one of the best experiences at a hotel I have ever had.

I have visited this hotel last weekend. I have to start with my review to thank the helpful receptionist who managed to cancel the second room which i booked with non refundable option. Location is very good mainly to the Camp Nou which is 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. And same distance to the nearest tube station. The hotel is about 15 min away from the centre by tube L3. This is a very relaxing place for a business trip. The suites are spacious. There is a airy balcony that has shutters - very private. There is a sizable desk. A sofa area. There is a TV with separate sound system for your own music. This is on a elegant stand that can be positioned for sofa or in bed appreciation. The bed is the vast. The bathroom is fully equipped. Even a bidet. Restaurant area is lovely with a decent buffet.
