First time at this hotel but I will definitely be going back. The whole hotel is spotless and very well kept. I stayed in a Maris room and again it was spotless. It wasn't a massive room, but certainly sufficient. I could hear a slight noise from the main road, but it certainly didn't disturb my stay and I'm a very light sleeper. It has a large family pool which is a bit on the cool side and a smaller adults only pool. Plenty of sun beds available and I didn't find that people "reserved" them ... Read more

A very pleasant holiday. The facilities, restaurants, pools, are very good the staff are very attentive and helpful. A very sport oriented (Cycling) place. There is a self contained spar equipped with numerous exercise machines (although I didn't use them) plenty did. A totally self contained resort which has,as far as I could see, all you need for an activity based holiday or you could just stay by the pools, adult only or communal. The communal pool was very good. Nearby bar/restaurant. The re... Read more

Absolutely loved our stay. The suite worked perfectly with a young family. The facilities were all modern, clean and really child friendly. The splash pool in particular was a huge hit with our children! The food was of exceptional quality and a great variety every night. Would highly recommend for people with and without children (lovely adult only area which includes a restaurant) - we will definitely be returning!!

We stayed a week in May and really enjoyed it. The hotels is set out in large grounds that adjoin a nature reserve; the hotel is situated in between Pollencia and Alcudia old town right on the beach road. Its easy to get about from here if you have a car (which we would recommend) but if not the hotel does provide free shuttle buses and the local buses also regularly stop at the front of the hotel. Its literally 5 mins drive to Pollencia. The room was spacious and the beds reasonably comforta... Read more

We came here as a family with a one year old grandson. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcome. The staff are exceptional - everyone was happy to help us and smile and make a fuss of the little one. We particularly liked the fact that the dining room for families was very child friendly ( when I mention how much mess a little one can make when he is feeding himself, parents and grandparents will know what I mean!), but there was also an adults only dining room which we took it in ... Rarely, if indeed ever, have I visited a place so welcoming. If I was younger (I'm 40 something), and was more adept linguistically, I would move here tomorrow and work at this hotel. So many good memories made here with my wife and young daughter. It's a great choice for a family. OK, the accommodation is a little dated but it's clean (immaculate) and tidy and the beds could be more comfortable but all of this is far outweighed by the overwhelming joy and hospitality of this very special hotel... Facilities at the resort are many, and reaching Pollenca or Alcudia beach is just 1EUR and 15 minutes away in bus, or about 10 EUR in taxi. The food was plentiful & delicious with lots to choose from (even for fussy eaters!). All the staff were fabulous- very attentive & friendly ('Jo-Jo' the waiter was a big hit with our little girl!). The pool was great with good shallower areas for less confident swimmers. There were plenty of loungers- although the reserving with a towel habit was widespread- some p... Read more

I just returned from a weeks stay and apart from the Maris room we were allocated being very dated we had a brilliant week. The hilight was the food which was excellent even though it was all buffet style. The pools were great although it seemed a bit dirty by the end of our stay but as it was so hot we didn't care. The drinks were pricey but we set ourselves a budget and stuck to it. We were half board and might go all inclusive next time because we will return. We did think about upgrading bot... Read more

Spanish staff, friendly, and pro like anywhere in the Island but the hotel is: - very close from the road ( you can hear car driving 80 km/h all the time!) - The location is in the middle of nowhere. (Right between pollenca and alcudia, but you need the car to do anything) - Room quality is like boarding school or 1 star hotel! - Restaurant is "Canteen" like (Food quality is barely average, just taste the coffee!) For 100 euro you can get a seaside room at porto colom with awesome restaurant... Read more

We have been to this resort in September and were received by a very friendly receptionist. Here, people really try to make you feel at home and comfortable. They are very friendly, helpful and informative. The resort doesn't have its own beach, but makes up for it by daily free shuttle buses to nice beaches around the area. We chose to go to the beach after one day in the adult pool. It was so unclean that I never set foot in any of the two pools in the hotel again. This is a major are for im... Read more

Weather still lovely second week in September. Hotel was clean and staff very nice stayed in a deluxe room over looking a pond... take mosie repellent and bite spray as you are in a conservation area and being near the water. Food was very good with large variety of soya rye bread and catered for all dietary requirements. We were half board and there is no shop nearby to walk too but the bus stop is outside the hotel so popped into town and loaded the fridge with lunch from lidle which is 15mins... Read more

We stayed in early July and were impressed with the resort from the beginning. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome, we were taken to our room which was a ten minute walk from the main reception in a golf buggy, which was great as it was very hot for a walk - in fact the hotel isn't accessible by foot to either Port de Pollenca or Alcudia, which are more like a 10/15 minute taxi ride away; our one bug bear about the resort was that they didn't offer a shuttle... My boyfriend and I were checked in quickly and with easy and were soon escorted to our room by the bell boy who helped us with our luggage. We were staying in the adults only section which is a 5-7 minute walk away from the main vicinity - everything is within easy walking distance! Location: As many of the reviews state, the complex backs onto a marshy nature reserve which can be accessed by a walkway if you are interested in bird-watching. This sounds like a plus point, but the negatives will become apparent later in this review. The complex itself is between Alcúdia and Porta Pollensa, but it's actually closer to Alcúdia even though it's called Club Pollensa. Buses run roughly every 15 mins either way: we tended to get the bus to Alcúdia, and walk the 5k back. Taxis a... Read more

Have just returned from this hotel, thought it was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and food was good. Jet2 were our travel operator, and we had the advantage of checking our luggage in at the hotel to be taken directly to the airport, which meant we simply made our way to the security check in, an absolutely wonderful service, very few hotels have this facility at the moment. This is a free of charge service by Jet2. The only criticism would be, it is not easy to walk to the nearest... Read more

We have just returned from a week and enjoyed our holiday with lovely weather. The resorts grounds were beautifully kept. We enjoyed the buffet food with lots of choice, although some themed food nights would have been good. It was a bit like Piccadilly Circus at times and I'm surprised there weren't more plates dropped!! The rooms were comfortable but it is unfortunate that they don't have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. One of life's great pleasures when you don't have to get up early... Read more

This is our second visit, the first some years ago with our children, now as a couple. We stayed in a village plus deluxe room which had recently been refurbished. No bath but a lovely rainfall shower. The room was in muted colours with a sofa and armchair as well as a well furnished outdoor seating area. We stayed in "Stella" close to the adults only section. We went all 9 of us with mixed feelings as some of the reports on here were poor...some good! The room, shabby old, beds hard as iron..cleaning...was appalling. Too many non English and no rep. Germans using abusive language, Spanish served first. We stayed in a suite which could do with a little updating but was very spacious for 2 of us, (sleeps 6). Adults area of hotel was great. Pool was busy so so difficult to get a good seat. People reserved loungers from before 8am with towels and then proceeded to not use the lounger which was annoying. Maris rooms adequate. Food was spectacular. Good choice of buffet. Well worth doing the breakfast and dinner option as all inclusive removed needing to pay extra. Great trip for people wanting to relax, eat well and get a good value summer break !

Although we usually travel independently as a family we decided to do a resort holiday and chose this place because of the location and activities on offer. We came for a family holiday in the peak of summer so we did expect it to busy, however on arrival we were soon able to find quiet corners and areas to avoid peak times in the restaurant. What was dreadful was the behaviour by some guests such as reserving sun beds and wasting food. I do wish that the hotel staff were a bit more proactive p... Read more

Cycling has been embraced by Majorca and is extending the season to near year round. Club Pollentia is doing it's bit and making cyclists and sporting people very welcome with bikes allowed in bedrooms and a road bike hire shop on the premises. New is an excellent spa, with an indoor 25m laned pool and well equipped gym. The food is as good as ever with the buffet allowing for pretty nearly any diet. Be careful of the mosquitos if eating on the terrace.

Overall this hotel on the face of it seems like it will be a hit. It's an illusion. However, and the hotel slightly misleads you in its marketing literature and so do the holiday companies. Point one, the hotel does not have it's own beach and the hotel rely on guests using public transport to get to the local beaches. Point 2, The family rooms (Village Plus), are not partitioned off, your children will be sleeping at the foot of your bed on the sofa pull out bed. Point 3, we originally went... Read more

Pros:The facilities for athletes are numerous and of a high standard. The location is perfect for cyclists. The rooms are modern, clean but on the small side. Two people sharing a standard is a bit of a squeeze if sports equipment such as bikes are kept in the room. The food (most important to athletes) is of a high standard and caters for all tastes and diets. Cons: Overnight storage facilities for bikes and other sports equipment is a glaring omission from the site.
