I was still positive after reading negative reviews, but unfortunately I was very disappointed by hotel at the end. When arrived we reported room was very dirty, dated and smelled horrible. We than have been offered for another room same dirty as first one. I never have seen so dirty hotel room as one in Lagomonte. Bathroom's floor was just covered with black hairs. Room's Tv-bench and rest furniture was covered with dust. Reported to reception twice and been promised it will be cleaned ASAP whi... Read more

Hotel basic but very clean. Staff extrembly helpful. Food plain but plenty of choice. Location great for getting around on foot, the beach, the port and the old town within easy access. The evening entertainment was hit and miss, the usual stuff was on. Overall a great hotel with everything you needed and I would definitely consider returning again.

We had a week here, returned on Tuesday 24th May. Fantastic time from the moment we arrived. Friendly staff, every single one was polite, couldn't have asked for more. While we didn't see a huge amount of the entertainment, the large crowds they attracted really sounded enthusiastic. Although a little disappointed at first to have a rear facing room, we rapidly decided it was the best place to be. The sun got around to the balcony approx 3-30 and it was a lovely and peaceful place just to chi... Read more

We will not return. The rooms are very noisy and the food poor. The staff were the most un friendly and un helpful that we have ever came across. Everything was chargeable including the safe and wi fi. We arrived at 11 pm and had no means of even getting a snack in the hotel. Our air con was set and the room was so hot that we didn't sleep. We asked for it to be turned up and they said they would look at it but clearly did not bother. The other biggest problem was that the entertainment was in t... Read more

After booking I read a few reviews here which really put me off. But with an open mind, off we went. Myself, my partner and 1 year old daughter off for a week in Alcudia. The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes from the main strip, and 20 minutes from the beach. The food was great, themed nights every night. I especially like the Chinese night. There was always something to eat and none of us ever struggled. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The maids did a fantastic job of ... Read more

Don't take any notice of some of the negative reviews that some people have put on TA. For the price you pay, this was an excellent holiday and some people expect 5 star service for the price of a 3 star. If you don't like what you get, then pay the extra for a 4 or 5 star service. We stayed at Lagomonte 23/06/2016-30/06/2016 and overall we enjoyed our experiences at the hotel. We stayed as a group of 3 and we got really good value for our money especially considering the hotels location. There were however a few mishaps and things the hotel could improve on which we felt after staying in 3 stars before were pretty low standard in comparison. Value for money basic hotel. Very clean, ideal for families but a bit too busy for couples. If only the pool area on the island in the middle of the lake was for adult use only, this would be idyllic. Food in the all inclusive was fine, enough to choose from but a bit repetitive. Staff were all friendly but unfortunately too busy to give the personal touch. Just returned from 10 day stay, rooms are basic but very clean and spacious, food overall was OK, did get repetitive though par for the course with all inclusive, some great bars and restaurants just a short walk away, Champions was very good, beach fabulous and about a 20 minute walk at a leisurely pace, overall lovely family holiday, would recommend queuing for use of the lake pool, small inconvenience to enjoy the lovely setting.

Me and my partner stayed here from 21st may for 7 nights. We were very nervous about this hotel after we read some of the negative reviews. The food was good, however I am very picky and don't tend to eat meat but there was always something for me. My partner on the other hand are everything and enjoyed it very much. Drinks wer... Just got back from a 12 day holiday and all I can say is 'it was ok'. You get what you pay for and it is a 3 star hotel. The food is 'ok'. The pool is too small for the size of hotel. The rooms are nice but I think the walls are made of paper. Very noisy!! It was a nice holiday but I wont be going back.

The room was modern: as if it had recently been refurbished. Offered a range of food and drinks. The staff were extremely friendly and were happy to help to give us information of what to do downtown. A town was nearby which had many spanish restaurants with native people, which I loved. Food again ok a little repetitive but you expect that at cheap all inclusives. Main problems were not enough sun loungers and people getting up a stupid o clock just to put a towel down. Our party of 6 were at the back on the 4th floor, which turned out to be a Godsend as we looked out onto what we considered the real Spain, each day being announced by a cockerel on one of the farms! We had a really good time at this hotel, it has its own island with pool and bar with food and drink and is really shady there under the trees and is a lot more quiet than right by the hotel pool. If you want the beach it is quite a walk from hotel and in the heat it is very tiring, but once you find the easiest route its a lot better. There is a bus every hour to take you to the beach

good fun hotel with lovely staff, but food a bit hit and miss ok if you like a lot of pork but breakfast is great.gino jamie and the girls doing the entertainment are top people and loads of fun.the person who said the water hit his wife in the face is a total liar we were on the next table and the bottle went on the floor and just caught he foot for which they were given 4 bottles of champagne as an apology ( you should be ashamed of yourself for lying on here ) .evening entertainment was a goo... Stayed here for 2 weeks in September 16. Had a great relaxing couple of weeks. Lovely clean hotel, rooms cleaned daily. Great choice of food for breakfast, we just had snacks for lunch as we liked relaxing by pool over on island. Can't comment on main pool area as we never used it. Good choice of food for evening meal but started getting a bit repetitive so we ate out a few nights, you could get a 3 course meal for around 9 euros each. Only 5 minute walk to main strip and about another 15 minute... Read more

Hotel spotless. Food good. Entertainment left a bit to be desired. First night (sat) they decided to do a farewell to one of their team mate. Not a problem but they sat down on stage singing boring and drearly songs. No life what so ever. Laura(Irish girl) and Gino great. Loads of life and fun. Jamie only interested in the girls he could flirt with and himself. If anything was organised it was not done to the schedule posted and Jamie would walk around with a clip board but only talking to ... Read more

After a very hard 2 years for our family with the loss of one of our grandsons we decided to book a holiday with our daughter in law and 3 of our grandchildren. We picked the Lagamonte as some of the reviews were not bad. Bad move. Our daughter in law and grandchildren arrived on 30th sept and we arrived 1st oct. As soon as we came off the bus my daughter in law was telling us about all the people they saw complaining to the reps about the food.We quickly knew why.I had to wait 10 mins for a fri... Read more

Came with my husband and three children aged 17, 14 and 12. Hotel was very clean and the staff were always hardworking , but also very unapproachable. They looked miserable and fed up especially in the restaurant. They put the empty plate and waste trolleys next to where people were eating and proceeded to dump the wasted food and plates in a loud clumsy manner. Very off putting. The food was disgusting. I ended up eating soup and bread mostly. We paid an extra £1500 to upgrade to all inclusive ... Read more

How people can moan about this hotel is beyond me. Rooms cleaned and towels changed on a daily basis, staff all very friendly and willing to help and a good choice of food at all meals. Please don't take any notice of the bad reviews and give this hotel a chance. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

My wife and i have been coming here for a number of years now. The entertainment in the evening was not quite as good this September as last year and the daytime activities a bit hit and miss. One of the male entertainment team had decided this was not a career he wanted to stay in and had given up.The food was not as hot as usual but still plenty of choice with themed nights and chef cooking fish and meat to order. Breakfast really good except bacon a bit overdone sometimes. All staff very poli... Read more

Very clean hotel, rooms cleaned everyday. Walls paper thin so we could hear people talking late and going the toilet. Food was good, breakfast was very nice, but lunch and dinner got boring for my daughter so we ate out a few times. Worth the money we paid. They do a free minibus to the beach every hour but it is 10-15 mins walk back. Entertainment was poor, daily games available but they seem to prefer the people who already where there, and rowdy men. Ask for pool view.

DON'T go the food is the worst I have ever had.entertainment was diabolical. We will NEVER go here again .supposed to be having a refurbishment but it will make no difference the pool was icy cold and too small .only one or two braved the cold water.listen to the bad reviews they are most accurate way to sum up this place was a complete waste of money .

I give this hotel a 3 only because it was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly and polite. The rooms are basic and need refurbished but clean. Bathroom also needs updating. Well what can I say about the food, if you are not a fussy eater you will enjoy it all. Breakfast was for me the best as there was always something that I liked. Lunch and dinner was ok but not to my liking but there was always fresh salad and a selection of bread rolls but the highlight was the desert, plenty ... Read more

We arrived just after midnight booked in by a lovely gentleman on reception, who directed us to the bar for a drink, which was very welcome after our trip from the airport. , There were 8 of us, me, my husband, my cousin and our respective grandchildren with ages ranging from 12 to 18. We never had a problem finding some delicious food at every meal times, my particular favourites pancakes cooked to order for breakfast, and paella, or freshly cooked fish every day. We had lovely rooms on the... Read more

We have just returned from a great five week stay at the Lagamonte. All the staff were friendly and could not do enough for you. The rooms were spotless and so was all the hotel areas. The food was good with a selection to suit every boy. The lake was only spoilt by dog fouling

Stayed 16th to 23rd October Arrived just before lunch and was checked in in 10 mins flat by Patria on reception who was polite and helpful. Room was ready which was great as check in is supposed to be 2.00pm. We were given a refurbished room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool and lake and it was spotless, good sized and really comfy beds. Asked for 2 extra pillows and these were bought in 10 mins later. We had one issue on the first night with the toilet flush not working properly but report... Read more

Writing this for my daughter. Paid £850 for two adults all inclusive. A very warm welcome at reception. The chefs were really nice and so were the cleaners. We felt we had great value for money . Would we return?? Yes we would. The hotel was 5 min walk to town and 10 min walk to beach. Food was hit and miss but there was something for everyone. Overall nice place would return. Clean and well looked after . Hot plate in the dining room was very good idea

not been at this hotel for 37 years but what a difference the hotel has been refurbised from top to bottom starting with the reception area even though we arrived late we were seen to our room straight away. this room we found out next day was over looking the pool and surrounding area. on arriving for breakfast myself and my girlfriend found plenty of food and drinks available. there was plenty of entertainment laid on day and night. staff were very friendly so a good time had will go again.

Dont want to sound to harsh but I think this entertainment team forgot we were just starting our holiday, we arrived in the morning. unpacked, and went down to the pool bar for a drink to hear the english guy from the entertainment team tell us how the the food in the restaurant was like been in a bush tucker trial and basically how they could not wait for the season to end,you should have the same enthusiasm on the last week as you have on the first week, we have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 tim... Hotel very tidy and clean, staff friendly and welcoming. Only negative would be the food got very repetitive after 7 days, our last 3 days we had to eat out as nothing in the hotel looked appealing. Good selection of drinks at both bars but you do get what you pay for, a good cheap all inclusive hotel.

Good hotel overall. Rooms quite big, pool area not crowded considering it was August, the first few days we were there it was difficult to get a sun bed and u needed to be up early. The last few days was the complete opposite and there were plenty available. The food was decent and on par with most other 3 star hotels. There were a few comments about the lifts on here, yes the are small but also quite fast. We stayed on the fifth floor and had no issues considering it was peak season. We also ha... Read more
