According to hotel brochures this place is focused on families. It's absolutely true. Personel is nice and helpful, pool is also cleand up every day but you can have difficulties to find place for you. Majority of sunbeds are "reserved" with a towel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is ok, chef which prepares pastas is definitely the brightest point of a crew. The best point of every dinner was his pastas. You can also eat "live cooked" fish and meat, depending of a day. The housekeepers are friendly and do a good job. (The bathroom is lovely) Free hotel shuttle bus (recommended this when you are coming back to the hotel!) Its clean and the top of the Range Premium Apartment is amazing, esp the Jacuzzi. The food is great too and the Staff is very friendly and helpful. But for a 4 star Hotel - it advertises 3 pools, only 2 are open. The other one is totally overcrowded and people start at 7am putting their towels down ( british mostly!). By 9 am you got no chance of finding a sunbed. And none of the Staff cares. We are still here for 5 more days and finding that with 2 Kids a nightmare. Loungers are even blocking t... Read more

We have just returned home from a 2 week stay here. We had a great time there but it is definitely a place for families. I would NOT recommend this place if you want a quiet holiday with your partner. We had the upgraded room with a jacuzzi which was fabulous but it was not touched by the cleaners for 2 weeks so the 'bits' of leaves etc that had flown in were still there the next day plus dirt marks around the jacuzzi were not cleaned. So this was mine and my husbands first ever European all inclusive. The last 6 years we have gone further afield and always done all inclusive. As the all inclusive are absolutely superb long haul we were a bit nervous and worried but we were really just looking for a cheap ish quiet relaxing break of a week in the sun. On arrival I was a little taken a back as the reception area is a little dated old fashioned (compared to resort pictures) however the friendly staff more then made up for it. ... Read more

We've just returned after a 10 days and on the whole have enjoyed it. The room was fantastic, huge balcony with hot tub and great views. Reception/bar/animation/cleaning staff all very welcoming and hard working. Ely at the pool bar was especially great. Staff cooking in the restaurant weren't so great and should try and smile now and again, the guys clearing the tables were friendly and sociable. This is no way a 3*+/4* hotel by a long way. Good points... clean rooms, good nights sleep , most of the staff are pleasant and that's about it. Bad points... although the rooms are spacious the bathroom is grotty. If you go out on a trip and require a packed lunch it will cost you ?2 each which is a first for an all inclusive holiday. My husband and I have just returned from our amazing honeymoon here! We had such a fabulous time, and have completely fallen in love with Tenerife. All the staff were so warm and friendly, they were all willing to help and make our stay perfect. It is probably more of a family hotel, but it didn't stop us enjoying it. We had a lovely room with our own jacuzzi, and our own sunbeds on the balcony so we happily kept ourselves to ourselves sunbathing up there, rather than by the pool. Most evenings ... Read more

Would recommend if you want some privacy as the pool is quite small and loungers are normally taken up early around the pool. Not really much to do around the hotel in the evenings, las Americas is around a 20 minute walk. Would go again if I wanted a quiet break, not aimed at the party lifestyle, more family oriented.

Stayed here for a week in October after being swayed by good reviews on trip advisor. Always use trip advisor as a guide however this time we got it wrong. That's not to say out holiday was "terrible" or "ruined" after all a holiday is what you make it. We visit one of the canaries each year and the 4 stars we are accouste too are much nicer in terms of hotel grounds ect. The hotel is defiantly not a 4 star but would pass as a 3. It's clean and the staff work hard I think some of the bad reviews... Read more

Lovely place for family's our 2 year old Grandson loved the pools, park and inside play area. Rooms were lovely, son was upgraded to room with hot tub, with false grass which was lovely for Grandson to run around on, weather was glorious which always helps. Good value for all inclusive

Hotel is on the hill, walk to the sea is nice but come back up the hill is a challenge especially with buggy. Food is good, plenty choice, drinks as well plenty of choice. Glasses in the restaurant need better clean. Children's swimming pool is superb. Beds are hard, pillows uncomfortable, bad night sleep. Shopping center is beside hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights in November. Firstly our room. There were 4 of us in one room as we were celebrating a 30th birthday. We booked the superior room which is located on the top floor. The balcony was huge and had a jacuzzi with sun beds and table and chairs on there but there was still plenty of room. The room was one bedroom with 2 beds and 2 beds in the lounge but as the room was a genorous size we never felt cramped in there. The bathroom was a good size to with plenty of towels and toi... We had lovely week in the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel the staff at reception was very polite and welcomed us. We upgraded our room and had room with jacuzzi and it was nice extra for the holiday. All-inclusive was good and there was always something eat or drink (my favourite was paella, churros and sangria). We had great week and I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I have been Tenerife 3 times and must I say that this hotel is the best one I have stayed in. Upon arrival reception was ready for you and was brilliant and really helpful. As soon as we arrived at our room there was a phone call from reception to make sure everything was ok with it and asked if there was any problems, there was also a bottle of champagne next to a big bottle of water courtesy of the hotel, Definitely recommend room 221 as this has a hot tub on the balcony and pool view. Before the moans, we have been here 6 previous times with kids and on our own , it's always been good value for money , not been for approx 2 years It has all been refurbished and looks good however The room we stayed in was fine if we had not stayed here before , it was the most we had paid and had smallest room to date , I requested when booking and sent an email 2 weeks previous for an upgrade / better room and nothing, I questioned it at reception and as usual there is no manager available u... Just back from Tenerife after a weeks stay in Villa Tagoro. It is a bit off the main drag which wasn't a problem for us as a couple. It's geared up for families and gets 5* for this. The hotel it pristine everywhere. The suites are spacious and well looked after. Wifi and UK tv too. The grounds gardens everywhere beautifully kept. The dining room is noisy as you would expect in an all inclusive hotel. The food choice and quality are above average for the numbers they are catering for. Children ... Read more

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks break at this hotel. Expectations were not very high following poor reviews prior to our arrival but the holiday was perfect. Warm welcome by reception staff and had even received a courtesy phone call the previous week to confirm our arrival time and acknowledge any special requests. Room clean and modern and more than adequate even though we had opted for the basic room type. Bed very comfortable with mattress topper. Food was also above expectatio... Read more

This was our first trip to Tenerife. As we not so often traveling for holidays (more for business) we spent a lot of time in internet to choose right Hotel to stay. By arriving in Villa Tagoro, for us was no surprises. Everything was just as in pictures in Tagoro web site. Honestly, we have stayed in even better 4-stars hotels. Surprise was attitude from staff of hotel. Amparo - Cleaning lady. She was doing much more as requested. Alexis - Barman. Working incredibly fast, and drinks are just ... Read more
