I liked this hotel. It's situated in the Itaewon distrct of Seoul, the most foreigner-friendly area of the city, with its profusion of bars, cafes, and international restaurants from places as diverse as Jordan and Bulgaria The hotel itself is uncompromisingly modern in design. The lobby is practically an art gallery, with an eclectic collection of stainless steel sculptures, wall fabrics, and pottery. Some of the guest seating even takes the form of deeply upholstered swings! My room wa... Read more

I enjoyed a clean, comfortable room for a 9-night stay. Though not large, the room met my needs: a refrigerator to keep food I brought, a desk at which to work on my computer, a fast wireless Internet connection, an electronic safe large enough for my laptop, an electric tea kettle, and plenty of room for my clothes (a closet, a drawer, and a stand for my suitcase). Also privacy and quiet. The mattress was a bit firmer than I would have liked, though others might prefer such a bed. The staff wa... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the IP Boutique for a quick weekend trip. I loved the look of the hotel lobby and took many photos to share with friends. I felt very welcome by the staff. They were able to communicate in English and were very kind. When we arrived in the room, I laughed out loud because there are so many mirrors. (Even above the toilet..) When someone is in the restroom, you can see their feet from the sleeping area. I didn't like that, but it didn't cause a problem at all, other t... Read more

We were right around everything so it made adventuring easy! The room was very modern and cozy. The bathroom was very relaxing and spacious. The service was awesome and we didn't have any issues! Highly recommend.

Lobby and room decor a bit too gaudy for our taste. We felt like we were staying at a Hard Rock hotel. Staff friendly but not terribly helpful. No greeter to help us with our bags when arriving and valet/parking staff did not even smile when they saw us. They also directed us to the Yongsan electronics market when it was closed and "reserved a taxi" to take us to the airport which never arrived our departure morning. Breakfast buffet was a big rip off compared to other food prices around Se... Read more

Location of this hotel is excellent. Close to Itaewon, it is both central and dynamic. Apart from that, nothing really good about it: 1. It is expensive 2. The rooms are dark, small and sometimes dirty (ours was smelling cigaret despite its "mom smoking title") 3. The staff is nice but their number is too limited to do a proper job. We had to carry our 5 luggages alone at the hotel because they have no "concierge" Overall a good address for young clubbers but a bad one for families.

Good price, great location. Location is the best attribute. Room was not very clean however with lots of curious stains on the carpet. The location I can't stress enough makes it all worth while. I paid $96 a night and for where it was it was a bargain.

I stayed here 2 nights while on business. The so called club room was small and had a stale smell. It was so bad that I ended with a sore throat by the time I checked out. I was late for breakfast- the staff could not bother to help. Room service refused to serve fresh fruits before 11 am !! Nightmare of a decore- possibly the ugliest. Suggest to stay elsewhere.

The hotel looks nice from the outside but when you get to your room it starts to smell like dirty socks. The hallways are dark and the doors are made of light gauge metal so you can hear every one who comes to their room. When you walk in the hallways you can hear everyone's conversations too. The staff is soulless. They act like drones. We have had to call the front desk repeatedly for noise issues. It takes at least three calls and some frustrated comments before any one will do anything. Th... Read more

We booked this hotel because it is near to our church in Itaewon area. This hotel was fine, interesting theme, and has clean and spacious room. There's a lot of restaurants and bars nearby that's why the place is crowded at night. If you are a party person, then this hotel is for you.

Walking distance from subway. Feels that the location similar to Chicago. Not the most high quality interior but good enough. All amenities are good for a business traveler. Just 2 subway stop away from harley shop. Feels a little too arty for me. Nice lobby. Probably could had been more decent if they could brighten the hotel.

I was in Itaewon and had missed the last bus home, so needed a place to stay. IP Boutique hotel came to mind, and I dropped in to ask if they had a vacancy. With fast service from the staff, I was soon booked into a room. I knew that they charged a lot, but for my more than 100000 won (about $100) I got no milk or creamer for the coffee, a mini bar stocked with mundane items that I could buy from the surrounding convenience stores for half the price, and a limited TV selection. They still have t... Read more

I knew I was going to have a let down after my experience in Wuxi at a great hotel and that's exactly what happened. This place is located in the heart of many bars and clubs and restaurants and if I had more time I would spend some time enjoying more of it. Good hotel spot. The gym is ok.

The hotel is along a busy shopping street. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby. unfortunately there was no bell boy service. But the front desk staffs were very helpful in assisting us to carry our baggage to our room. The room was very clean. The air-con was still a bit warm even after setting to 20C on high fan power. Many halal restaurants along the nearby Usadan-ro street.

IP Boutique Hotel is a nice place to stay in Seoul.. located in Itaewon and easy access to bars and clubs. Airport bus is just a walk away. Rooms are clean and tidy. Coffee bean is just a throw stone away from the hotel. Food establishments are also easy to find around the hotel.

Clean room, very confortable and quiet. The hotel is in one of the most english-friendly place in Korea with lots of bars and restaurants of all kind. Very easy to get to from the airport using the bus 6030. We were able to check in at 10am for no extra charge, which is always welcome after a night flight.

A decent hotel for a short stay in Itaewon. Rooms were simple butt that is all you need if using as a base to see Seoul. Not too far a walk from the station and the action of Itaewon - bars and restaurants are all a few minutes walk away. For sure I would return.

Hotel was perfectly located on the main road through Itaewon so all of the nightlife and things to do in that area were walkable. The hotel itself is just as great as the pictures make it out to be. The bathroom was my favorite part of the hotel, the lights and all the glass made it feel very contemporary. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a place in Itaewon.

This place is very nice and a great deal. We got a room with two double beds for $80/night on hotwire.com. Rooms have all the modern amenities. Toto washlet toilet with built in bidet. Beds are super comfortable. Master light controls right by bed. As you walk to bathroom hallway light automatically comes on and goes off. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Nice TV and fridge. In a very nice part of town. Hotel proper is super modern and the staff is very friendly. This is defin... Read more

The room was nice and clean. It was very close to everything in the area but still up the block so a little quieter.2 so that's good. We walked in because it was late and needed a place to stay. I would recommend booking online to get a deal as we payed 179,000 won ( about $160). The lobby is absolutely gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and shower pressure was just ok. TV was smaller than usual and minibar items are quite expensive. There is a convenience store right next store. I would stay t... Read more

While this comment is on one of the receptionists only (a lady), she made me write this review. Her attitude was so bad that I was surprised she was being assigned a client-facing position. I was asking the ways to go to the airport, she showed me a paper slip which shows the bus schedule with the price. However, I later found out that the subway would take less time (though one will need to change line once and you may not get a seat), and half the price of the bus fare. And there is no worry o...
