Arrived late and tired, but nobody helped with luggage or brougth me to my room. They just gave the keycard and pointed to the elevator. They simply could not communicate in English. Also the personel in the restaurant could not speak a word English. Every thing was unclear. The bar is closed so there is no entertainment at all

On the positive side, the staff were okay and you are close to subway station with a direct line to the airport. You are also close to some night life. I paid a discounted rate and even with that felt I paid too much. If I had paid the full amount I would have been furious. And to be clear I am not a fussy person, I'm pretty laid back. I've seen negative reviews of the hotel but don't think it's that bad (back when I stayed in 2014). Staff don't speak great English but basic English communication is avaialble. The location is great if you like Hong Dae as it's just right next to the district and a walkable distance from the restaurants if you're out late, I feel safe walking at late night in the area. We booked this hotel for 5 nights and we thought the hotel made a mistake with our room. The standard twin room was teeny. The beds were separated by a few inches and the room did not have a window. But it did have some hair on the linen. We asked for another room, but they insisted that we get an upgrade, which would cost us an additional USD230. We paid the difference for a bigger room, and we asked what the rates would be if we added 5 more nights, and they agreed to the same price. But, so... Read more

Pros: It's in the heart of Hongdae. Cons: Everything. It was filthy, smelly, noisy, broken down, expensive, and the service was hostile, even if you speak Korean. If you don't speak Korean, you're out of luck. This place seems to be preying on mostly Chinese tourists, and the treatment of the other guests that I witnessed bordered on abusive. Under no circumstances would I recommend this place - not even as an emergency option. I got stuck here in an unfortunate confluence of a late night flig... Read more
