This hotel is right in the heart of Hongdae, where all the shops and restaurants are located. The amenities and service in the hotel are unsurpassed! It's a little more expensive than other places in Hongdae, but you get what you pay for; staff speaks English very well, pull up valet parking, gorgeous rooms and a lovely view. I've traveled all over the peninsula and this was a great way to pamper yourself.

Really dirty, not worth for the money, it's a love motel set up. Booked a semi suite, but it's bath tub is bigger than the bed... There wasn't even a hook or railing to hand any towel or clothes..... They claimed to be a business hotel, so I guess they don't think business travelers need to hang any clothes at all. There isn't a bell boy, so if you are planning to do some shopping, be prepared to haul your own luggage bags. Location of the hotel isn't close to airport bus drop off or metro exits... Read more

I booked a few nights here after a disaster is night in a hostel down the road (I cancelled that and booked this after the previous hostel refunded me). The staff don't speak great English apart from the manager who is a male. Concierge don't offer help you take your bags to your room. In the room there was an electric Japanese toilet (but the lid was slightly broken). The shower was fine and so was the bathroom apart from that. But I kept seeing flies in winter?! The bathtub in the bedroo... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel and booked the suite due to the bad reviews. I paid 125$ per night. The shame is that this hotel actually got a really good potential due to it's location and view. The staff also seems very pleasant and attentive. But the room is just not clean. I had to call room service after 1 minute of checking in due to the unclean and clogged toilet (yes, in their best suite). Even after they have fixed it, it still did not work properly. The room smells like hair got burnet her... Read more

I have booked a top room called a "Royal Suite" !! - Half the room lights do not work. The one tiny bulb in the bathroom is useless and the shower and toilet are without light. The work desk has no lamp or ceiling light. The rug is filthy and tatty. There are bits of old sellotape on the wall and big patches of paint coming away in some areas. CNN or NBC are on the TV but cannot be watched for more than 1 minute as they are apparently "premium" stations and cut out - I would be happy to ... Read more

A lot of the stuff is really convenient comma normal for Korea... shower amenities are already in the room as opposed to being packed like a love Motel rooms are a bit small for the price but I guess you are paying for location. My room was clean although I can see signs of wear. I had a beautiful view of the city river and in to Seoul. Normal check in time is at 9 p.m. but I was able to haggle and check in at about 4. I am standoffish about staying here again because there is no room service bu... Read more

I went to Seoul for a conference and stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Reception was in first floor and pathways from lift to other rooms are little congested. Overall feel and look of the hotel is nice. Room: I stayed standard room which was really clean and nice bed and all other facilities. As the name suggests, each floor room and design is different. I felt little strange as the bath tub was very near to the bed with no separation wall(as you see in one of my photo). Toilet and bath... Read more

There's not much to say. The reception ... on the 2nd or the 3rd floor weren't helpful at all. The elevator was like the ones you see on run down motels. The corridor to and from the elevator to the room was just so cheezy, as was the room itself, and the amenities in it. The cleanliness was very bad, much like a run down motel. I don't know why this is called a 'designer' hotel There isn't any element of design here and it definitely is not a hotel quality space. If it were a motel.. than I ... Read more

Pros: It's in the heart of Hongdae. Cons: Everything. It was filthy, smelly, noisy, broken down, expensive, and the service was hostile, even if you speak Korean. If you don't speak Korean, you're out of luck. This place seems to be preying on mostly Chinese tourists, and the treatment of the other guests that I witnessed bordered on abusive. Under no circumstances would I recommend this place - not even as an emergency option. I got stuck here in an unfortunate confluence of a late night flig... Read more
