Not expensive with quite good service, concierge staff can speak in english and mandarin. Hotel location near subway Chungmuro station, room is clean and big enough! The only bad thing is they don't have room service fir food ordering!

Thanks for the room upgrade, we got a spacious room with good wifi, walking distance to subway and with choices of different restaurants nearby, attentive service from Front Desk and breakfast room, frequent downtown shuttles to major subway and shopping district, special compliment to the driver who took us to Lotte in the morning!

Comparing to all other hotels I've stayed in, Hotel PJ premier room is the biggest I've stayed so far! The check in/out process was very easy and smooth, and the front desk staff were very helpful and polite. The room feels really comfy with the warm lighting and carpeted flooring. There's even a tea room with Japanese style of seating arrangement, coffee maker (small charges apply), air purifier and a small TV screen. Not to mention the ice making machine is just conveniently located right ou... Read more

This hotel is convenient to the subway and lots of placing to eat. The staff is very friendly courteous. The room was clean albeit it seemed a little dated. This was first trip to Seoul, but I plan to visit again and i will definitely book with Hotel PJ!

The hotel is absolutely amazing.... huge rooms and great interior. Very helpful staff. Good locker service to store luggage. There is even a convenience store right in the complex. The cafe serves good breakfast too...I chose this option because I didn't have time for the breakfast buffet. Free shuttle services to nearby shopping areas area also offered.

1. Soft bed, hotel does not provide extra pillow 2. No utensils in the room. Have to use plastic spoon(from can of powdered milk) when eating ice cream. 3. No complimentary coffee and tea 4. Not good buffet breakfast and inconsistent policy on what to wear 5. Stayed for 5 nights.. first 4 nights my son . 5 years old is free of charge in buffet breakfast but on the final night the reception told us we have to pay. 6. Lousy neighboorhood 7. Dirty sofa in the room 8. Hot aircon.

We were on free and easy trip and we were glad that we had chosen hotel PJ. They had timely shutter buses everyday to ferry us to a few attractions. It was also great that four of us could stay together in one room with two bathrooms.

It will be your good choice and value for money if travel with family, they have spacious room with double + single bed or even triple room! With its central location, although only take 15 minutes walking distance to the major shopping area, but the complimentary hotel free shuttle bus to nearby shopping district is a credit when you travel with kids and elderly. I will back to Hotel PJ again for my future visit in Seoul!

Room is clean and big. Breakfast is almost perfect but after 3 days of eating the same thing, you don't want to eat anymore. Hope that they should add at least two different viand every two days. The hotel is very near to everything and it is situated in a quite vicinity.

This is a wonderful little hotel, and it's in a very convenient location. It's at the edge of Myeondong and on a relatively quiet street. We walked nearly everywhere north of Namsam Park--two palaces, Insadong, City Hall, Bukchon, Namsamgol Village. We paid a little extra for a premier room with a little tea area and a wonderful walk-in shower. If you need a highly fluent English-speaking staff, you won't find that, yet everyone was a helpful as could be. If we return to Seoul, we will definitel... Read more

Their staff were very helpful and attended immediately to our needs. Location is great and they have a shuttle that brings you to Myeongdong and Dongnaemum. The hotel is also near the bus stop for the airport shuttle bus. The room was great. It was clean and well kept. had a great stay!

Airport bus driver, who knew our hotel destination from our printed tickets, left us off knowledgeably but Who-Knew-Where? Gestured vaguely to a narrow passageway somewhere to the left up ahead and so launched us and our wheeled luggage into a new and overwhelming city. Hotel name printed in Hangeul on our tickets was really all we needed. Pointed and asked, pointed and asked, and soon found the right alleyway, OK, "narrow passageway." Motorcyclists squeezing us left and right, delivering print... Read more

Room is nice and neat, love the interior design of room. Air-con is not too cold. Swimming pool is pretty but open time from 10am-7pm only. We want to swim at night is not allowed. Location is easy to find and not far from subway. But midnight there have people chat outside street, we stay inside the room can hear outside's sound ,disturb to sleep.

Stayed for 3nights It was my first time visiting seoul alone so I needed a hotel nearby famous places and I found this hotel! It was walking distance to myeongdong, dongdaemun and korean traditional market. If you do not like walking they also have shuttle bus to those places. The staffs there had great service as they have very fast check-in service and very attentive (I asked so many questions for directions and nice restaurant and so and so but they kindly answered me lol). The hotel stuff are nice and are fluent in various languages. Security, cleanliness and transportation are my top concerns and Hotel PJ does not disappoint my family throughout the whole trip. Everything is clean and tidy and user-friendly. If I have another chance visiting Korea, I will definitely choose Hotel PJ again! :)

PJ Hotel lies in the middle of two stations on two different lines - Chungmuro (Green and Euljiro4(sa)-ga - each a five minute walk away, past holed-in shops and restaurants, the latter of which that locals frequent at night. A cineplex in also a stone's throw away from Chungmuro station. Location-wise, it is about as good as it gets since different lines means easier to get to destinations and back. We paid an average of S$127 (~US$94) for a twin room per night. There is a copious amount of s... Read more

This is a really nice hotel, surrounded by nice retail restaurants and stores on the ground level, though also surrounded on all sides by fairly old, rundown shops and industrial business (printing presses, auto repair shops, etc.). So it's a bit of an odd, though centrally located, place for such a nice hotel. No complaints about the hotel itself, and we were able to find two excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel also had a convenient room of lockers for departing guests to store their luggag... Read more

Travelling to Seoul as a family (3 adults) and looking for a hotel is a daunting task. Primarily because hotels are a little expensive and there's not much options for a room good for 3 people. Hotel PJ was great because it offered 3 single beds, a balcony, free buffet breakfast and shuttle service. It's a little hard to find and a little inaccessible because it's between 2 train stations. However, their free shuttle service makes up for it. You can just take their hotel bus as long as you kee... Read more

Modern and clean hotel. Their rooms come with balcony. Which is a big plus for smokers. As they don't have to go downstairs to smoke. Near many food places. There's this fried chicken that we eat almost every night. It's cheap and good. Along the stretch of food restaurants. They have frequent shuttle bus to popular shopping areas. A 24hr convenience stall just downstairs. It has everything you need and nice Korean microwaveable food/ snacks and breakfast.

stay from 5th to 11th July with my family & the room is spacious with a king + double bed. Location is not very ideal as nothing much around but there are plenty of for local restaurant around which open till late, which I think is more of the authentic local flavours. If you can speck Korean it will be a good place to explore these local restaurant snaking around that area & provide a great insight of the locals. Shuttle bus to Dongdaemun with pick-up till 2.20am. Free coffee pod no longer pro... Read more

We stayed at the family room and we enjoyed our stay there a lot. Our room inside (the bathroom too) was big and there was also room for the suitcases and stuff. It was really comfortable. Besides, the staff was very friendly. We used the shuttle service, which was quite useful, because we didn't have to walk all the way. Another great thing about the hotel is its location, as it is located in the middle of the sightseeing places. I recommend Hotel PJ especially for families.
