The room was small but clean. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Another problem was the airconditioning because the remote was in korean and its hard to figure out how to use it. We asked assistance from the staff, however, almost all of them are not fluent in english. The reception/concierge staff cannot speak english and would reply to me in korean (which obviously i dont understand). We ended up opening the window just to get some cold air inside the room. The hotel is quite far from the ne... Read more

Summary: Basic hotel, about 10-15min walk from Seoul station, but well connected by escalators and elevators (if you know how to walk - see detailed directions below). I'll probably try another hotel next time, as there's nothing outstanding to entice me back. Directions: If you come from Incheon airport, take the AREX express/ all-stop train and get off at Seoul Station. Note however, if you take the AREX express, you are only allowed to exit from Exit 15 rather than Exit 7 (nearest exit) or E... Read more

I was in Seoul from 2016 May 19 - 28 and stayed at Hotel Manu for 9 nights. The location is great as its just within walking distance from Seoul Station exit 7. While exit 7 might be the nearest exit to Hotel Manu, note that from evening time till early morning, there will be a group of homeless people occupying the passage way leading to exit 7. However, its still relatively safe to use the exit if you are in a rush as security guards are deployed at the passage way for security and safety reas... Read more

Serves the purpose of a place to rest. It is rather far from the station especially when you are trying to walk in rain. The underpass is filled with homeless people using it as their home for the night, there is also an unwelcoming stench in the underpass. It is an uphill walk from the bus/train station which is a bit trying when you have to lug your luggage or shopping with you. Hotel receptionists have as good as zero english and are not entirely helpful. Rooms are clean, basic and small... Read more

I went to Seoul with my family and stayed at the Hotel for 5 days. I rated them 5 stars because the Front desk and staffs were very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean. The facilities were great and new. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our two nights in a corner suite, which was quite spacious. The hotel room was very quiet and comfortable, staff were friendly etc. Location is good, close to Seoul station, although we had a little trouble finding exit 7 from Seoul Station (exit Main Station through gate 2, veer right to take escalator down to Subway station, then keep heading left and look for exit 7). We arrived around 8pm, in rainy weather, and there were plenty of homeless people sleeping in subway to gate 7. The... Read more

Chosen by our tour company this hotel had small rooms but was clean and comfortable and great free wifi. Very handy to Seoul Central Station , the markets and shopping and restaurants it was a great location to explore Seoul from. The breakfast was simple but offered a wide choice of Asian and Western food and the coffee was excellent.

I got into Seoul very late and I called them and luckily they had a room available. They were very helpful and even spoke to the taxi driver in Korean explaining how to get there. Room & decor was very nice. Shower and bathroom very good. The room had air con and universal power adapters. Would definitely stay here again as it was only $120 a night.

Arrived in Seoul airport at 10.30pm, passport clearance 45 mins, All stops train 1 hour, arrive 12.35pm. Took Exit 2 of Seoul station and walk towards Lotte but entrance to subway line 1 and 4 escalators had stopped working. Can see Hotel Manu from subway entrance. So walk overland to Hotel, 7-8 zebra crossings, took about 8 mins. Hotel has 10 floors, given room 907. Spacious Twin beds with lots of storage and clever design. Lots of mirrors, fast Wifi but expensive breakfasts. Food court at S... Read more

Room was small, we had two large suitcases which made walking around difficult. Apparently booking a twin standard room will have a bigger room. To add to this, I would suggest to the hotel management to train their front desk staff as they lack the skills to communicate well in English. However, the room was well cleaned.

Stayed overnight on way back to Incheon. Nice clean hotel very near to Seoul Station, the main reason that I chose this hotel. Only a short walk to Sungnyemun gate, a piece of history in the modern city. Well worth a visit. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel.

nice hotel, its new, clean, great... but the actual location isnt great... the train station isnt tourist friendly and its so hard to get to the hotel with your luggage where there are very little elevators available. its good if you're going to be travelling by taxi, but if you plan to catch the train like we did to the airport... probably not the best option.

Good value. Location was convenient. Walking distance from Seoul Station. Also very near to Namdaemun( about Five minute walk). CAn take the airport express to Incheon from Seoul station. It maybe a bit difficult if you have a lot of luggage to walk to Seoul station.

We stayed for a night before going to Busan the next day. It's near Seoul station but need to walk a bit to the station exit that is near the hotel. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay there. :)

Had a 10nights vacation in Seoul with my friends and stayed in this wonderful hotel perfectly located at Seoul station, very near Namdaemun and Lotte Mart. A lot of reviews saying it is not easy to get to the hotel by train if you have a lot of baggage but i would say it is not that hard, and it will definitely be worth it. Front desk helpful, the room was clean and the size of the room was just nice. The shower was EXCELLENT, powerful and they provide high quality toiletries. Room service was g... Read more

Located in a very central part of Seoul, it is easy to navigate around the city from the hotel. The express train from the airport stops within walking distance and it is also near the traditional markets.

Very good location, close to Seoul station n stand right between two stations. Perfect place for shoppers visiting Lotte Mart which is a few minute's walk. Lots of restaurants nearby, a variety of choices. The down side is the room is too small though the staff is very friendly.

Good location and friendly staff. They were able to move my booking to next day (I missed my flight) even though booking.com didn't allow to do that. Clean rooms (not very big though), good location near malls, shopping centers and transport hub

As what's been said by other reviewers, you'll be paying for this hotel's prime location. It's just a short walk from Exit 7 and 8 of Seoul Station. About a 5-minute walk to Namdaemun market and 15- to 20-minute walk to Myeong-dong shopping district. Standard double room is really small. Wifi works great. This hotel is recommended for those planning to go out the whole day and wants a nice, clean hotel to go home at night.

If u compared to stay in guest house or something like airbnb, i suggest u not to stay there, but stay in hotel manu is your best choice. Great value, strategies, close to everywhere incl seoul station, namdaemun market, etc

The location of this hotel is perfect for travellers in Seoul. It is next to some entrances of Seoul Station, where you can take the subway to move around the city, and also long distance trains like KTX. You can also go walking to Namdemeun market. It is a business style hotel. Modern and comfortable. Beds were excellent. It is really clean. We stayed in the triple room for 1 week and had a really good experience there. There is enough space for the luggage. There are some amenities in the roo... Read more
