We have stayed at this hotel after checked out from airbnb home stay. The daily breakfast well served although everyday we were eating the same type of breakfast. To us, it was okay so long that the standard was there. The room was clean and we asked for daily room service. It was comfortable and also it made us feel relax after a long walk. Along the street, there were so many restaurants for you to choose from and you will be surprised to see the different of day and night! It is easy walkw... Read more

I visited Hotel Aropa as the beginning stop of my 2016 Asia tour for New Years Eve. I booked a room for 2 nights, non-refundable. Due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn't able to check in on the initial date and was in fear they would cancel my reservation. No they kindly told me they'd hold my room but of course I'd still be charged for the first night. This was fine for me as I had had the opposite happen at another establishment where they gave my room away. The room was just what I needed... Read more

We stayed in the Deluxe Twin Room in November 2016. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. First - the pros. The location was good because it was close to restaurants and the train station. There was also a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts nearby which helped us get used to a foreign country. The main shopping area is about a 12 min walk. The hotel was clean and had good decor. There is also a very large facility with sauna, hot baths, and massage right in the basement so it was nice to soak o... Read more

Construction started at 8 every morning I stayed there, and I stayed for a week.. so if you like to sleep in, this is not a good place to stay! We were at the corner room so we could also hear all the loud music and Ruckus from people that were coming from outside and the cafe downstairs so that wasn't pleasant either. When we first got to the hotel no one helped us with our luggage and was fully ignored at the front desk. The washroom had this weird awful smell coming from the drainage, so at... Read more

Stayed here for a week in November during the freezing cold. Location - Very conveniently located. Close to the subway, and technically walkable to the Grand Palace and places like Insadong. Short train rides to areas like Itaewon and Namdaemun and other market areas. Close to Starbucks and other various cafes and donut shops for breakfast. Room- I have a dislike for rooms with bathrooms that are all glass with frosted areas. Great for couples, but not for families or friends traveling toge... Read more

I stayed at this hotel with my sister in late November for 3 nights. It's easily accessible from City Hall Subway Station exit #7. We checked in, checked out and stored our luggage smoothly with no problem. It's close to Namdaemun Market and stations such as Ewha or Hongik. We reached Gyeongbokgung by taxi in less than 10 minutes and were told that we can reached it on foot in around 30 minutes. Our room was a modern type at 6th floor. We heard construction noises but not that bothered by it. ... Read more

We stayed three nights in this hotel from 29 November to December 02. We were given a room in the 4th floor at the end of the corridor next to the storage room (room 409). We are a couple but the double bed has only one side access; the second person has to jump from the other end or access the bed from the feet side. I checked the other rooms and they looked fine. So I think we were given the worst room in the hotel. In addition we asked for a high floor but they said that the hotel is fully bo... Read more

I spent 8 days in korea.. Aropa is my last hotel staying.. The others hotel overall is great , YTT boutique hotel and THE DESIGNERS HOTEL CHEONGYANGNI. This Aropa hotel bring me a lots of disappointment and spoiled my days. A lot of drunkards at night, construction work acceptable even we are corner room, but the lady staff Kim morning shift, giving.bad services, ignore guest, unhelpful and no manners. Shopping is my life, my luggage total about 90kg (2 ladies, me and my roommate), nobody try to... Read more

I found this hotel for an incredibly affordable price so, with that in mind, it was a great hotel! There was construction from 8am-5pm, so if that would bother you definitely keep that in mind. The bed was not incredibly comfortable but was fine for 2-3 nights. It didn't feel very firm or soft, just kind of springy. The bathroom had a strange smell from the moment we arrived, not sure what it was. We tried changing rooms but they all seemed to have the weird smell. It wasn't too much of an issue... Read more
