You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Right in the middle of two famous areas in Seoul. Super convenient from the airport. I would definitely come back. Love that there is a sauna on the top floor. One reason I didn't give it a five was the floors were falling apart in my room

I stayed at the Fraser Place Namdaemun for the 2016 Rotary International Conference in Seoul. I also stayed at their sister property in Central Seoul (but really only about 400 meters away). The people at Fraser Place Namdaemun were friendly, very capable, and helped me with some DMZ tour challenges in a thoughtful and friendly manner. It is also very close to the City Hall subway station, and walking distance to almost everything I wanted to see in Seoul. I'll stay at either of their locations ... Read more

We're staying in Seoul for the Rotary International Convention for six nights and the Fraser Place Namdaemun has been the perfect place to call home. Our room has a kitchenette and a sitting room which is nice for storing items for a late night snack for those of us adjusting to the time change from the US. Bathroom is spacious with a tub and shower and was spotless. Hotel staff at times struggled to keep up with guests during "rush hours", but the whole city is packed so my guess is they were d... Stayed here for 7 nights (in 2 trips). The hotel staff were very helpful. I had booked a room with a request for an infant crib. On arrival we were told that the request was never communicated by Hotels.com and my room type can't have a crib. As a result, I had to pay extra to move to a higher room class. The hotel staff were accommodating, but the surprising part was hotels.com poor communication. The hotel itself is right outside Namdaemun and a very quick taxi ride from Myeongdong. The air... Everyone's said this before, but I'll say it again. This hotel is probably the best located if you'd like to explore the older parts of Seoul (and not Gangnam!). Get off the hotel and start walking left you'll hit the famous Namdaemun market, followed by the Myeongdong shopping district a few mins further. Start waking right, you'll hit the famous Deoksogung palace, followed by Seoul City Hall, followed by the famous Insadong district and the top attraction of the city - the Gyeongbuk Palace! Al... The Hotel was very nice, clean, and convenient and is centrally located near the 3 most visited shopping centers. Namdemun Market was just around the corner from the Hotel and went on forever, the variety was endless. Sodemun and the major shopping centers was a fifteen minute walk away. The food is excellent everywhere. We ate 3 meals at the Hotel and each one was excellent.

You cant go wrong with Fraser Suites and apartments. Located in Namdaemung within easy reach of the Airport Train station and local subway its a great location. Rooms are spacious but the many lightswitches can be confusing. A bit annoyed that the shower has not enough water pressure but could be just my room. Otherwise worth tye money

We stayed here twice during our three week trip to Korea. The location of this hotel is great for sightseeing. You can easily walk or taxi to all of the sights. The front desk staff are very helpful with taxis and other transportation issues. One even helped us book domestic flights when I had trouble doing it on line. The premier rooms have kitchens (no oven). It's nice to have the option of not eating in a restaurant when travelling for so long. The beds are firm but more comfortable than man... Read more

I travel to various destinations in Asia every other year and just realized that I have not been giving credit to all the establishments that took good care of me! So here is my attempt to make up for it.... Fraser Place exceeded my expectations with the amount of space and amenities in the guestrooms. We stayed in the deluxe room for 5 nights during NYE. The room had heated floors, pull out sofa bed, high tech toilet and more. Pros: Suite style guest rooms Good location with walking distan... Read more

Well located hotel within 5 mins walk of a metro line station (city hall). Has good amount of restaurants close by (hasn't everywhere in Seoul) but a good restaurant in the hotel too. The hotel is very modern. We had a deluxe room; excellent size with a sleeping area you can separate, comfy bed and loads of storage. Good aircon and internet, and some english TV channels. Only neg points are no iron in the room and the shower is underwhelming. Useful gym and sauna on the top floor. There is also ... Read more

Hotel itself is ok: * well positioned near City Hall subway * plenty of local coffee shops and restaurants, including Starbucks * modern and clean (but see below) * good staff * prices reasonable * restaurant on ground floor was good Some services need attention: * shuttle to Seoul station unavailable after 5pm and hotel will not send after that * Internet is free but requires frequent re-input of password * no iron in room, albeit one was quickly delivered * my bedsheet was not properly clea... The places is convenient, if you arrive from Inchon Airport, there is a bus that take you right next to the hotel. It might not be the most convenient location if you go to Myeongdong everyday but Myeongdong is well within walking distance, it's close to Namdaemun market, close to metro station, with bakery, restaurants and cafe that open around the clock nearby. The building is ok, the styling of the lobby might be a bit dated maybe but nothing really wrong. I didn't have any problem durin... Read more

The hotel itself is newly renovated. Pros: 1. Rooms are clean though small. 2. Fairly close to Myeongdong about 10 mins on foot. 3. Close to subway. 4. Staff in general are polite. 5. Airport bus stops right opposite to the hotel but it is much more expensive than airport express. 6. Cheap dinner set at the hotel. Unlimited wine during my stay. 7. Spa on the top floor but never got a chance to visit as it closes at 10 pm. Cons: Not much to complain. Everything was fine and functioning ... Read more

I picked this hotel because it is walking distance to our office and was positively surprised. Something went wrong with my booking (the travel agency booked me for Frazer Central hotel), but this was very well handled and I got a wonderful room, very spacious, quiet, comfortable bed. I also liked the pool area to relax in the evening. Breakfast was okay (although pretty expensive), the restaurant serves nice dinner. I can fully recommend this hotel.

Rooms are a little small but excellent overall. Probably the best location possible at this price level. Namdaemun city gate is literally across the street and the market is only a block away. Service is great and English speaking taxis are always parked outside the hotel building.

it is a great hotel for business traveller or visitor. It is located in a center area of seoul. You can easily reach Namdaemun market, City Hall subway station on foot. It is surrounded with office building and some shops, but you can easily find local restaurants along the street, just behind the hotel. If you would like to take AREX to and from the airport, you can reach Seoul station just 3-5 minutes by Taxi. It is a convenient area, and you can reach anywhere in Seoul easily as it is in the... We stayed At Fraser Place Namdaemun from July 21's to the 24th for our 10th wedding anniversary and had a great time. The hotel is yards from Namdaemun Market and a very short walking distance from Myeongdong shopping area. Very close to the Subway lines and if you take the bus from the airport it drops you off across the street. The location is close to everything and the rooms are very clean and Comfortable. Been here a few times. My Korean friends always try's to get me to book in Gangnam. But I wonder why? This place is pretty amazing. It's not big but you get free breakfast and it's a short trip across the river to Gangnam. The service is decent, front desk in the morning is excellent at night it's ok. The support staff housekeeping is always so nice. There is a Korean BBQ place right next to the hotel it's amazing. I eat there everyday when I am in Korea. I wasn't impressed by this place, it was clean and the room was fine but it was quite noisy from outside, even on the 12th floor, I could also hear the people in the hallway and above me. The aircon was all in Korean but with google translate I got it working but it seemed just to cold or warm. The lack of amenities disturbed me a lot, as a weekend traveller I counted on having amenities in the room such as cotton pads and buds. It was possible to purchase shaving kit and toothbrush kit. We could not have chosen a better situated hotel. FPN is right across the Namdaemun (East Gate) within walking distance to the market. 10 minutes down the road is Myeongdong, where the street food scene is on every evening. The hotel is clean and the staff fantastic. Most speak English and are very helpful in suggesting sights and transportation. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the City Hall subway station, walking, and 5 minutes by taxi to Seoul Train Station. My only criticism is that the bat... Read more

My second visit to this hotel, and, again, it wasn't an incident-free visit. I would say it was mostly communication error, just like what happened during my first visit. Although I gave very explicit instructions to the staff about my requests, somehow they were still misinterpreted. However, the nice staff more than made up to the problems I faced. Thanks to floor manager Ryan, front desk staff Ted and Grace, and the concierge staff, my stay was mostly happy. One thing to note, the hotel has ... Read more

An impromptu getaway turns out to be an amazing trip. The hotel has a great location. Within 5 minutes walk from train station and the best part is the airport limousine (6005) from Incheon international airport stop just at the doorstep of the building. Loved this hotel! The location was perfect! We were able to walk to Namdaemun Market and Myeong Dong. The subway was a few blocks away, so not too much walking. It can take you to everywhere else you want to go. We stayed in the premier apartment which had a sliding door to separate the bedroom from the living room and kitchen. Some double premier rooms have a washer and dryer which I requested before my travel date by sending the hotel an email. The living room was wider than the normal hotel r... Read more
