You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Right in the middle of two famous areas in Seoul. Super convenient from the airport. I would definitely come back. Love that there is a sauna on the top floor. One reason I didn't give it a five was the floors were falling apart in my room

I stayed at the Fraser Place Namdaemun for the 2016 Rotary International Conference in Seoul. I also stayed at their sister property in Central Seoul (but really only about 400 meters away). The people at Fraser Place Namdaemun were friendly, very capable, and helped me with some DMZ tour challenges in a thoughtful and friendly manner. It is also very close to the City Hall subway station, and walking distance to almost everything I wanted to see in Seoul. I'll stay at either of their locations ... Read more

We're staying in Seoul for the Rotary International Convention for six nights and the Fraser Place Namdaemun has been the perfect place to call home. Our room has a kitchenette and a sitting room which is nice for storing items for a late night snack for those of us adjusting to the time change from the US. Bathroom is spacious with a tub and shower and was spotless. Hotel staff at times struggled to keep up with guests during "rush hours", but the whole city is packed so my guess is they were d... Stayed here for 7 nights (in 2 trips). The hotel staff were very helpful. I had booked a room with a request for an infant crib. On arrival we were told that the request was never communicated by and my room type can't have a crib. As a result, I had to pay extra to move to a higher room class. The hotel staff were accommodating, but the surprising part was poor communication. The hotel itself is right outside Namdaemun and a very quick taxi ride from Myeongdong. The air... Read more

Everyone's said this before, but I'll say it again. This hotel is probably the best located if you'd like to explore the older parts of Seoul (and not Gangnam!). Get off the hotel and start walking left you'll hit the famous Namdaemun market, followed by the Myeongdong shopping district a few mins further. Start waking right, you'll hit the famous Deoksogung palace, followed by Seoul City Hall, followed by the famous Insadong district and the top attraction of the city - the Gyeongbuk Palace! Al... Great location, helpful staff - spoke English well, excellent amenities ( fitness facility was better than expected) ... couldn't ask for more. Buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful. Would definitely return.

The Hotel was very nice, clean, and convenient and is centrally located near the 3 most visited shopping centers. Namdemun Market was just around the corner from the Hotel and went on forever, the variety was endless. Sodemun and the major shopping centers was a fifteen minute walk away. The food is excellent everywhere. We ate 3 meals at the Hotel and each one was excellent.

You cant go wrong with Fraser Suites and apartments. Located in Namdaemung within easy reach of the Airport Train station and local subway its a great location. Rooms are spacious but the many lightswitches can be confusing. A bit annoyed that the shower has not enough water pressure but could be just my room. Otherwise worth tye money

We stayed here twice during our three week trip to Korea. The location of this hotel is great for sightseeing. You can easily walk or taxi to all of the sights. The front desk staff are very helpful with taxis and other transportation issues. One even helped us book domestic flights when I had trouble doing it on line. The premier rooms have kitchens (no oven). It's nice to have the option of not eating in a restaurant when travelling for so long. The beds are firm but more comfortable than man... Read more

I travel to various destinations in Asia every other year and just realized that I have not been giving credit to all the establishments that took good care of me! So here is my attempt to make up for it.... Fraser Place exceeded my expectations with the amount of space and amenities in the guestrooms. We stayed in the deluxe room for 5 nights during NYE. The room had heated floors, pull out sofa bed, high tech toilet and more. Pros: Suite style guest rooms Good location with walking distan... Read more

Well located hotel within 5 mins walk of a metro line station (city hall). Has good amount of restaurants close by (hasn't everywhere in Seoul) but a good restaurant in the hotel too. The hotel is very modern. We had a deluxe room; excellent size with a sleeping area you can separate, comfy bed and loads of storage. Good aircon and internet, and some english TV channels. Only neg points are no iron in the room and the shower is underwhelming. Useful gym and sauna on the top floor. There is also ... Read more

Hotel itself is ok: * well positioned near City Hall subway * plenty of local coffee shops and restaurants, including Starbucks * modern and clean (but see below) * good staff * prices reasonable * restaurant on ground floor was good Some services need attention: * shuttle to Seoul station unavailable after 5pm and hotel will not send after that * Internet is free but requires frequent re-input of password * no iron in room, albeit one was quickly delivered * my bedsheet was not properly clea... The places is convenient, if you arrive from Inchon Airport, there is a bus that take you right next to the hotel. It might not be the most convenient location if you go to Myeongdong everyday but Myeongdong is well within walking distance, it's close to Namdaemun market, close to metro station, with bakery, restaurants and cafe that open around the clock nearby. The building is ok, the styling of the lobby might be a bit dated maybe but nothing really wrong. I didn't have any problem durin... Read more

The hotel itself is newly renovated. Pros: 1. Rooms are clean though small. 2. Fairly close to Myeongdong about 10 mins on foot. 3. Close to subway. 4. Staff in general are polite. 5. Airport bus stops right opposite to the hotel but it is much more expensive than airport express. 6. Cheap dinner set at the hotel. Unlimited wine during my stay. 7. Spa on the top floor but never got a chance to visit as it closes at 10 pm. Cons: Not much to complain. Everything was fine and functioning ... Read more
