Disclaimer: This is not a five star luxury hotel so the excellent rating is based upon the category it is representing! Upon arrival the hotel, I was greeted with a friendly bi lingual front desk agent who quickly checked me into my room. All rooms are on secured floors thus providing a level of security many five star establishments do not offer in Seoul! The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, comfortable pillow and a shower with proper water pressure. The Internet was fast and f... Read more

We stayed at the Centermark Hotel this week. We had a fabulous stay. Hotel staff were very helpful and the location is terrific!! You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to food. So many options in close walking distance. The rooms are small (but not too small), but very clean (the whole hotel is). Shower had good pressure, beds and pillows are so comfortable (i love down willows though). Breakfast was ok, not a huge range, but enough to fill you up. Overall, we really loved our stay and wo... Needless to say, I chose this hotel for the reviews others have left and the proximity to some great restaurants + tea houses. But, I am going to cut our stay short and find ourselves another hotel. I must admit, the staff were friendly, but that cannot excuse the room we are stuck in for the night. When I complained regarding the utter lack of privacy in the bathroom due to malfunctioning worn blinds, they sent a service guy to remedy the issue. The facilities staff had come and gone, but I ca... Read more

Might be THE Same , wE don't Know , But IT Is a BIG column In My bed room just hinders Us to move freely from the window side to the bath room , just a pity I didn't take a foto of it but it is very annoying . We stayed 6 nights here - the place is spotless; the facilities decent, though limited in terms of public space. Coin operated laundry a great saving - Gym a little limited but decent and again clean. The rooms (standard) are very small - swinging a cat and all that and hanging space is minimal. But location is great - we walked and used the metro and you can do it all from here. Fully recommend it. The one elevator to the top floors is a bit of a pain and the breakfast service is all in the bas... Read more

Loved the location, close to a thriving street market. Great breakfast. Very clean. Courteous, helpful service - like you see in all of Korea, I find. There are both a G25 and a 7-11 store within steps of the front door - very handy.

CenterMark is an ideal hotel for business travellers. The location is great, Jonggak subway station is 2-3 minutes walk away, Insadong is around the corner, and Myeongdong is within walking distance. The hotel is more of a business hotel than a stylish hotel, so don't expect too much in terms of character or decor. But saying that, it is very efficient in everything it is supposed to do. Cleaning was thorough and feels like it's done as soon as you leave, even when you leave late and come back a... Read more

The hotel has a quite central location. The room was clean and functional with reasonable amenities. The service was reasonable to good. The breakfasts were OK. Getting there with a private car is a not simple and at times one can hardly get out because of all the cars parked on the sidewalk,

This hotel is SO nice and the staff are wonderful. Everything is clean and the location is close to all the major spots in Seoul. There is a metro station close by, plus the hotel offers a shuttle. We were nicely upgraded to a suite overlooking the Blue House and the Gyeongbokgung Palace. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Oh and this hotel even has a coin laundry if you need it.

The hotel is located in a good place, near to train station. Short walking distance (~5 min) to Insadong. Many sight-seeing spots are within walking distance. There is a convenient store just located next to the hotel.

We checked in late last night because our flight was delayed and will be here for 8 days. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the English speaking front desk staff member made it very easy. She was wonderful. My wife and I have never been to South Korea and I think the desk clerk knew we had no idea what we were doing. She gave us lots of tips and info without even asking and made the end to our 30 hour journey enjoyable. We recommend this Hotel because of friendly staff, location (amazing) and... Read more

Great room and bathroom, good place close to the metro station Jonggak in the fantastic city Seoul. Nice breakfast and a great coffee shop near the front desk. I can strongly recommend this place and to stroll down to the stream Cheonggyecheon.

First impression wasn't good at all. Was given a room that was small & very dusty (seems like it was empty for the longest time ever). Raised this issue at the reception & was given a new room which was so much better. Overall stay was ok besides their aircon system, super hot & stuffy during night time.

The Center Mark is a clean, nicely appointed and comfortable hotel. But the service is where this hotel truly shines. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, but in particular there are two incidents that exemplify our experience. The hotel normally has a free shuttle service to Myeong-Dong, but there was a problem with the shuttle when we wanted to go - Grace Jeong was kind enough to personally get and pay for a taxi so we would not be inconvenienced. In the second example, we had a tour boo... Read more

We came with a group, The hotel was chosen by the tour company. The rooms and public areas were clean, and functional, the room amenities were reasonable. Breakfast was OK (The food choices were somewhat limited). but It is worth mentioning the nice coffee shop near the front desk, with warm morning pastries. Good location close to the metro station, Short walking distance to stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Staff very friendly, helpful and very polite, English speaking front desk staff. O... My family and I stayed here for several days and were happy with the accommodations. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and we had no issues with trying to understand anyone. Price was good for what we got. Easy to get to lots of restaurants and shopping was just minutes away. You don't have to walk more than a half mile to get to major shopping areas. Subway system also super easy and very close. And McDonald's was right next door. I also enjoyed their breakfast. Plenty of American choices in... Read more

Really lovely staff who were super helpful and understood English perfectly enough. The location is the best part, close to all manner of malls, shopping strips, bars, restaurants and tourist haunts. I enjoyed some really authentic back-alley Korean food nearby on one night, and european the next night. The subway was close by too, enabling a short trip to the USO base for the DMZ tour early in the morning. The room was tiny, and I tripped over my suitcase a couple of times. Tho overall, it... located at Insadong, 5mins walk from subway station - Jonggak (Line 1), Exit 3-1. 1 station to City Hall, 2 stations to Seoul Station. Hotel also provides shuttle bus to Myeongdong, Seoul Station. Opposite hotel is SM Duty Free Shop, hotel downstairs has McDonald, next door is convenient store (GS25?). walk further down is Insadong walking street, many restaurants & shops there.

Good service, clean rooms, nice cafe, nice gym, close to subway, good deal for price. Don't click "do not disturb" unless you mean it, or they might not come clean your room the whole day. I would recommend it if you're staying in Insadong.

Rooms are small--no worse than a typical big city hotel anywhere. King size bed was very comfortable. Very clean and well looked after property. Breakfast each morning was excellent. Not sure about value for money since was part of arranged tour. Lots of good restaurants and shops close by (try La Grillia if you like Italian food).

Staff speaks fluent English, good service. Had a comfortable stay for the 2 nights. Hotel is clean and new, just a 5 mins walk to jongak station (1 station away from City Hall) There is nearby shops to check out, good and cheap buys. (staying on the left lane when you exit the hotel)
