Self-driving to alpensia was the option for me due to incompatible flight times with the shuttle bus to/from the resort. Luckily the resort provides plenty of free undercover parking. The rooms were very spacious and the mountain view of alpensia is quite picturesque. The buffet breakfast was decent with a good variety. The hotel operates much like a city hotel and I was unable to find a drying room for my ski boots / equipment. Staying in alpensia provides discounts to activities in alpensia... Read more

I was debating whether to stay here or at the Intercontinental. As I was only there for one night I decided to risk the cheaper option. I am extremely happy with that decision. This hotel was everything I needed - modern, clean, very comfortable, friendly staff, etc. On top of that, it is closest to the ski slopes and all the facilities. It is only a few minutes walk from the Welcome Centre which is where the buses from Seoul drop you off/pick you up. Of particular note, the concierge staff ... Read more

It's my first-time skiing trip and I'm so glad that I chose Alpensia with Holiday Inn Resort! Pros: - Room is very spacious and cozy. Got upgraded to a room with ski view. We really enjoyed watching people skiing, like some kind of shows. lol - Staff were friendly and helpful. They made you feel very warm and welcome when you got there. - Discount on skiing gear rental. Cons: - Not perfectly cleaned by room service as we found some hair on the table when we first got there. But not really... Read more

It is a nice resort with many restaurants, rental shop and convenience stores nearby. We arrived at noon time, and lucky that they offer early checkin for us. The staff is helpful and nice. Also, hotel guest can enjoy discount for the lift ticket, gear rental, and ocean700. Room is spacious and comfortable with balcony. Easy to access the resort from airport or Seoul. It would be good if it can have coin laundry and free wifi (free only for IHG member)

We took a bus from Myeongdong to Alpensia. We caught the bus right in front of Prince Hotel in Myeongdong. It was a very smooth ride and in less than 3 hours we were at Alpensia. When we got off at the Alpensia stop, there was someone telling us to wait for the shuttle bus to the hotel. It was freezing cold and we asked for directions to the hotel and please, it was a 3 mins walk away! The check in was quick and smooth. Being a Gold member, we got an early check in and late check out. The room w... Read more

The resort was excellent, very clean, very professional service, very warm, lot of restaurant arround the resort, it is very good for the family trips! About the ski course is little bit poor for the experience skiers, but very good for the novuce skiers. And there is a ski shop near the ticket shop, they they do very good repair with very acceptable price, dont miss the service!

I had been to this hotel for business and weekends. I found this hotel is placed with nature and the rooms are clean and spacious. You get wonderful view from room gallery and refreshing air also. Recommend to visit along with family for weekends.

Our family of 10 stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group of 20. The hotel has a resort feel, with a warm and woody aroma in the room that welcomed us. Our rooms on the 3rd floor have basic but adequate amenities, with no minibar or international power adaptor too. However, the TV has USB port which can serve as charging station for mobile phones if required. One downside is there is no free WiFi, with paid WiFi quite expensive by comparison. It costs KRW3300 per hour (USD3) or KRW14300 fo... Read more
