Lousy service - no attention to the Client On my 1st night the air conditioning in the room was not working - called the front desk and maintenance was on it's way. At 1.30am fell asleep in a freezing cold room without the maintenance ever arriving. On my 2nd night, after complaining again, got an "upgrade" to a room exactly the same. The air condition was working but the window doesn't close - noise and a freezing draft coming in. Complained at the front desk, again, and in 5 minutes the mai... Read more

Stayed for three nights on business. The hotel rooms are small and are looking very tired. The carpets in the rooms are dirty and tired. Also very noisy in certain areas of the hotel. Breakfast in the morning is great.

Lack of customer service must be this General Managers training ethos. Struggling with 3 bags was refused help by reception telling me no one was available. Corridors littered with room service trays and fat food debris for 18 hours I counted. Stinking rotten food smells Pool is filthy and as usual in Jobur hotels is the size of a large puddle

As others have mentioned, the customer service in this hotel is horrific. There is a major bottleneck at the front desk. I can't think of a single occasion where I wasn't standing in a long queue to get to the reception desk. I didn't like the attitude of the staff, they just weren't willing to help. Aside from a couple of members, staff were dull and unwelcoming. I don't think the staff have a clue about customer service nor do I think that the hotel is managed properly. I waited three ho... The reception personal was not very friendly in the beginning but then they started being more and more receptive. The room we were first given had a window that didn't close completely and so it was noisy and cold in the room. In the end we were given a warm room and without noise. In general the Hotel doesn't have very good insulation from the main street traffic. The shuttle to Mandela square is very convenient and runs every half hour.

Excellent hotel to stay in for business or leisure when visiting Johannesburg, South Africa. It is very centrally located, with easy access from all major highways and a complementary shuttle to and from Sandton Square. The restaurant offers value for money ala-cart menu for dinner and a comprehensive breakfast.

This hotel is very convenient, it has every thing someone needs inside. Good restaurant, clean and friendly personal ready to support in any case. The location of the hotel is perfect, 5 minutes maximum to reach convenient points of the city for a traveller : Supermarket, train station to go to the airport, car rental office, Nelson Mandela square with its shops, restaurant. This hotel offers all one needs.

We traveled as a group of 60 people.Smooth check in despite large numbers. Facilities were good. Its a boutique hotel. room are of small size but well decorate. Surprisingly there is no wardrobes in room. Washrooms are also small and feel cramped. Food quality is ok and taste is just average......nothing special to mention. Although the property look great from outside but facilities are just average.

Hotel location is good and the stay very comfortable. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and the staff prepared a surprise for us and brought it to our room ... so very nice! We had 3 rooms each tailored for individual needs i.e. cots, single beds and double beds ... so well organised

The experience was mixed. I felt safe and comfortable, and the rooms are tastefully decorated, however the very slow breakfast experience let them down. Also, the lack of warmth and ambience in the Lounge area isn't fab, especially for the solo business traveller. The free shuttle to Sandton is a plus.

As i write this review, im freezing sitting in the room waiting for the maintenance to come fix the air conditioning. This is the 2nd day in a row i ask. The oke must be coming from really far. I still have a whole 2 days left here sigh...!! everything here is sooooo slow, from food to an iron to getting room service. Oh and the water is so cold in winter , i mean ... The only Good thing is the WIFI and free shuttle NEVER AGAIN!!! So dissapointed

From outside it looks like a very nice hotel. The lobby area is nicely decorated. However, the service is extra slow. It takes them 1 hour to bring drinks at the restaurant and almost 2 hours for the food. The rooms are extremely cold. Heating doesn't work, and their only solution is to offer more blankets.

I had a super comfortable stay at the Park Inn, found staff hospitable, warm & friendly & great breakfasts. I -also appreciated the integrity & helpfulness of staff, Zama specifically at reception. I left my dress & jacket in room closet and only realised hours after I had checked out and was already in another city. I called the hotel and Zama went above and beyond to find my left behind items. All my items were in order when I went back to the hotel to fetch my things, very grateful!

I had the pleasure of visiting Johannesburg for the first time this June and stayed at Park Inn Sandton. First impressions were good. I arrived well past midnight and had no problem checking in (This had been done by our host). AMEX was not working at checkout, but they took an impression and proceeded manually. The first thing I wanted to do was get a nice long hot shower or bath (No bathtubs on 2nd floor!) to wash away the fatigue and sweat from the flight. This was not to be as the water ... Read more

I stayed at the hotel 4 times, 3 for business and one with my husband and baby. Both types of stays were a good experience. Even though it is more of a business hotel, they provided us a baby cot with no dificulties. It is a safe hotel, with good parking and a very nice decoration, where the staff is friendly. The rooms need some maintenance, but are comfortable, specially if you are there on business. The the diference between the two prices in rooms are only in having a mini bar.

If you just need to put your head on a pillow for an overnight stay, the Park Inn Radisson will suffice. The room is very, very basic with limited hanging space for long dresses, skirts or slacks. I was one of the unfortunate guests who had to take an ice cold shower during winter in Johannesburg as there was no hot water on the morning I was there.
