Nice staff but rooms were not that clean and there waa blood on the sheets and outdated. But for the price it is good and it is in the middle of sandton, which is nice. If you want an affordable hotel, this is an oke choice.

Nice, comfortable and clean 2 bedroom apartment, situated close to Sandton City. Reasonable kitchen allows for self catering. The manager was very good and kindly allowed us early access to our apartment. All in all, GlenAlmond is not luxurious, but offers very good value for money, in a good area, and the apartment gives you room to move with a lovely lounge and dining area and a patio. I would definitely use GlenAlmond again.

We were traveling as a group of 5 so reserved two rooms, one a 2 bedroom suite. One of our group arrived a day ahead of us due to flight problems. When we arrived, the desk told us he had not arrived, so we spent a tense three hours trying to find out what had happened and where he was. Turned out he was in the hotel in a third room! We were well satisfied with the rooms, but on the second day one of our group had money stolen from the room safe. A little more caution on our part might have... Read more

Very very nice place to be with your family. Almost quiet and have cottages like appart-rooms. Kitchen room and everything is nice overall. only 1 KM form sandton City Centre. As we have car it is easy to reach otherwise it may be difficult to get texi etc. You can park your car exactely outside your room.

This place is awesome if you have a big group of people. We got the 2 bedroom apartment which had two bathrooms (main bedroom en suite), a little kitchenette, lounge and dining room. It was pretty cold but there is a heater in the lounge and wall radiators in the bedrooms. Breakfast is available in a quaint little breakfast nook. Reception staff was great. Gardens well-tended and lush. Advantage is that you can park your vehicle right outside your room. Very quiet area right next to Sandton Cit... Read more

We stayed for 3 days on a business trip. Nothing was too much for the staff. A friendly hello with a smile from the gardener and gate personel to general management. Exceptionally clean rooms. We arrived in the rain and there was a puddle at the entrance to our upstairs door. It was no trouble to get a large bathmat for us to use for our feet. When the municipality switched off the water one the afternoon, we received a letter from the front desk explaining the situation and then a 5L bottl... Read more

My apartment was much larger than I needed, and very spacious and bright. A couple of problems though: there was no privacy if the bedroom curtains were open, plugs in the bedroom not enough, kitchen was not well equipped, and noisy staff in the coffee shop (they shout at each other instead of talking) My arrival was late, and I didn't feel welcome and was a bit apprehensive to go in as the Night Manager? security officer? receptionist? was not terribly friendly. But a great location, comfortabl... Read more
