The Service was friendly - Room was OK and had all that was required. Stayed over as I had a evening function - Food at this function and the service was great. Breakfast was hearty - If I must gripe it would be the following - I found the breakfast hall stuffy and no view to the beautiful outside gardens and staff ignored my dirty plate on my table when requesting if I needed coffee - TV Channels were very limited (Only 3) Which I think was not right - But these should be checked as I know tha... We stay at the Hotel for one night as we had business in the area, We were very happy with our Room and the Beds where very comfortable. The Tv Reception was terrible and we could hardly watch tv, so we decided to get an early nights rest, to be fresh for the next day. But to our dismay the base from the function hall next to the Hotel was so loud, we could not sleep. The Party didn't stop until 12am, so if peace and quiet is what you want this is not the Hotel for you.

We had a function in the Kgotla room and decided to stay over. When walking into reception one is given the feeling of the hotel needing a face-lift. We walked up to our room with some trepidation but were pleasantly surprised when we entered this large suite. Really nice. We did not have breakfast due to time constraints but the previous evening had drinks and snacks in the Courtyard. This was a little disappointing as the service was extremely slow, food was not available as stated in the menu... Read more

Visited for an anniversary. Loved the night spa and stay! Beautiful rooms and great service. Mowana Spa team was excellent as well. Thoroughly enjoyed. We went during winter but the spa was warm and cosy. Thanks for the slippers! We'll be back soon.

What struck me about the hotel is that it's much bigger than you think. It's really close to Sandton (though probably not convenient to get to in peak hour traffic). It very close to Fourways, but when you're there, you feel as though you're away from the hustle. Our room was perfectly adequate for a one night visit. It would be fine for a weekend too, but I'm not sure about longer stays. The TV bouquet, for instance, is limited to 9 channels. And the bathroom is small. I was particularly... Read more

Stayed here on our first night in SA. Lovely grounds, great to stretch the legs after a long flight and then we had an afternoon nap by the pool. We enjoyed watching the sunset whist having a drink on the terrace, and followed this up with a very good buffet evening meal in Chief Boma's. Good size room, although a little on the dark side, plenty of choices at the breakfast buffet - very good hotel..

A most relaxing, yet very classy place to overnight for a weekend in the 'city'! Breakfast, which is a superb experience, until 11h45 on Sunday morning - allows for a late night on Saturday! Suites 102 & 103 form a great inter-leading private area for friends to stay together, or for family to be close to each other.

We stayed one night at the Indaba Hotel as part of an overnight spa package with Mowana Spa. We were warmly greeted on arrival by the front desk, and they were also very helpful and efficient in switching our room from a double to a twin without any issue. The rooms appear a little tired and in need of some attention, though they do have everything you could require from temperature control units, to safe, to tea stations, to minibars (although the latter will only be stocked upon request). My colleague and I attended a workshop at Indaba Hotel. I would recommend this Hotel as a workshop//conference venue as their rooms are quite spacious. The highlight of our day was breakfast and lunch..they have the most tastiest food. We were also taken on a tour of their grounds and viewed a guest room which was quite up to standard.

The bad: I was told I can sign and charge to my room when I eat at the restaurants. It turned out that such option was disabled. Chief Boma's waiter had to come to my room so I can pay. Not convenient. I later offered to leave my credit card information at the counter so I could do this, but the person at the counter refused that idea. Epsom restaurant. Great and very friendly staff who are clearly trained to serve. Conference facilities and restaurants are top notch. The room I stayed in was dated and had a tired appearance.
