Spent a couple of nights in The Peech before continuing on to The Greater Kruger National Park. Excellent hotel set in secure gardens in a leafy and quiet suburb of Johannesburg. Wonderful staff, good food and a comfortable bar in which to enjoy a drink before retiring. What more could you ask for?

The Peech is a wonderful boutique hotel for 2 reasons. The quality of the experience when staying at the Peech is outstanding. From the staff to the setting, from the bed to the breakfast the focus is on providing guests with a feeling of serenity and comfort. The Peech is an oasis of calm in the middle of Johannesburg. Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities one could want. Shopping is within walking distance. However the staff is more than happy to arrange transportation or even... Read more

Lovely Boutique Hotel with delightful staff who catered for any requests with efficiency and a smile. Our stay was brief (2 nights) but service remembered. Delicious breakfast, beautiful location. Great start to an African adventure. Marie & Denis Brisbane, Australia

We stayed at The Peech for just one night, and it was very clean and in a nice location. The breakfast was great, and the restaurant for dinner was very good. It's also in walking distance to the Melrose Arch shopping mall, which was very convenient.

We only stayed one night but felt spoiled in such lush surrounds. The rooms were fabulous but the garden and dinner were a highlight. Also appreciated that they use fresh herbs and vegetables from their garden.

The hotel is perfect, staff are very friendly and accommodating and hotel surroundings are very tranquil. Distance from the airport is suitable over an overnight stay but perfect for two nights or mire

Indeed, a boutique hotel. Super! But reception-staff are a different matter, also one waiter in particular. Read on. The upper-level suites are naturally not suitable for wheelchairs, but more important - not even attractive for people with back or knee problems, or those needing walking sticks. I am fit, but even five days and nights of going up and down steep metal steps was exhausting. The general layout and standard are very attractive. Quality of food excellent. Service only moderate, On on... Read more

Really beautiful place, very comfortable and relaxed. The room was perfect for my stay. I spend a week here and loved every minute of my place and my time in Joburg. Really nice to come back to a neat place after a day of site seeing and shopping..

A luxurious business friendly hotel. Great rooms, serene environment, international adaptor, high speed wifi, excellent food and unmatched service. Also swimming pool and meeting room for 10. Early warm breakfast if you have to catch morning flight. Strategic location close to shopping areas on Sandton.

We stayed for one night as a stopover before returning to Singapore. The set up of the hotel was different than we expected (more like flats/apartments than a hotel) although the grounds are pleasant and the reception area warming with a real fire. The room looked good with a large bathroom although the radiators were more style over substance so the room was cold at night and in the morning. The bed however was comfortable and staff switched on electric blankets at turn down. My main disapp... Read more

Not only was the garden suite comfortable and extremely warm for a Joburg winter, the eye for detail in the interior design and everything else that came after that resulted in a memorable stay. I can highly recommend staying at the Peech Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and the food top notch. A great find and I will definitely be back.

Great hotel rooms with hot water with pressure and warm rooms. Plenty of space. Breakfast is included. The staff are extremely helpful with Tours. The restaurant is excellent. The room doesn't have a fridge. Completely safe as well and they have a driver to get you around (at cost).

The hotel is in an upscale neighborhood and feels very safe. Many of the rooms surround an enclosed garden at the rear where you would not know you were in a big city. The food was excellent and the waiters expert. One evening I needed medical attention (I cut my scalp on a city tour!); the staff were very solicitous and the manager whistled up a very competent doctor in less than an hour. When I went to a doctor back in the U.S. to get the stiches removed later, she commented on what a good... Read more

We stayed at The Peech Hotel during our trip to Johannesburg. It's like an oasis in the middle of the city- green and serene. It has awesome rooms and incredibly friendly staff who take great care of you. We loved the spacious rooms, the garden outside and the easy access to great restaurants in the neighborhood. I wish we had stayed longer!

This is my second stay at The Peech. Coming from Canada is a LONG trip arriving in the early morning - to have a room ready and waiting is a gift. The staff are incredible with first class customer service attitudes! So friendly and helpful. I travel a lot on biz. I love this place for its: safety, security, comfort, great beds, love the shower and fab toiletries/products, comfy pillows, free WiFi, great view of courtyard, food choice is lovely and the food is fresh, HOT when served!! Neat and professional hotel with delightful rooms and a wonderful restaurant. The Bistro I had a short but good stay. Just a few minutes from the shopping centers of Melrose Arch and Sandton City make this a good central location. Lovely garden and setting makes having a drink on the patio a delight. Limited parking is the only area for improvement.

The hotel was just as I expected. Great rooms with all the comforts of home, thoughtfully laid out with decent hairdryers and things like that. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the happy to help with silly questions. I liked the neighbourhood. Nice and quiet but close enough to major routes to get to anywhere quite easily. Lovely park across the road for a walk and with a children's jungle gym if that is what your little ones need. There's a great little local shopping centre a... Read more

This is a small boutique hotel in a good area of JoBurg and we only stayed one night. The rooms were great, modern and quite large. We felt very secure and the staff were very nice and low key. They have a really delicious a la carte breakfast. I accidentally left currency in the room safe. They contacted me via email and arranged to refund that amount onto my card. Thanks so much Peech Hotel!

Thank you so much for embracing our family a week in the Summer 16. Everybody was very helpful and kind and felt like our own family. Nice beds with electric blankets, large room, great food. But the service is what we are going to rememer! Hope to stay here again. Hugs from Kristina, Mattias and Axel
