We stayed here after staying at the Protea Breakwater and this was so much bigger and cleaner than we could have expected. The security is extremely strict. The only complaint is how long it takes to check in. I found this with most accommodation in South Africa that even though they use websites to promote their places, there's no communication about payment. I would recommend this place as it is close to the V&A Waterfront. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and each bedroom had it's own p... Read more

The best place to stay by far when in Cape Town. In the middle of everything in a secure area with very helpful staff!. The apartment was huge and luxurious. Truly amazing place. The va waterfront and resteraunts are 2/5 minute walk, and to town 5/10 minutes. Great place!

great location, amazing apartment, clean, welcoming staff... I stayed there with my wife and 3 kids for 4 nights. it was simply unforgettable with a view to both the water front and the table mountain. We would recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town

Top floor of self catering apartment block. Spacious rooms with all you need to cook for yourself if you wanted to, but why would you with so many fantastic restaurants and bars nearby? Ten metre swimming pool nearby, we had this to ourselves every day. Lots of help and advice about trips and excursions from the office/concierge. Free wifi only available in the office but for a bit extra you could have wifi in the apartment. View of Table Mountain on one side and the harbour on the other, a... Read more

We stayed in one of the apartments offered by the Waterfront Village for a visit to Cape Town. Registration at 14:00 took a long time before we could settle into our apartment but once we were settled we were very happy with our choice; a superb two bedroom apartment overlooking the Waterfront. The apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed from a coffee-maker to an iron. The rooms were clean and tidy and yet I felt a handyman could just fix a few small issues. The apar... Read more

Myself and my wife stopped in the V & A Waterfront Village in May 2016. This was our first visit to Cape Town and we were really impressed by both the location and the size of this apartment. Situated a short 2 minute walk away from the V & A waterfront the area felt very safe and offered a superb range of restaurants right on our doorstep. You can also find a supermarket and a number of tour companies there as well which are very useful. The apartment itself was bright and spacious and included... Read more

Stayed at Bannockburn 404. Overlooked the Canal. Check in was fast and efficient. It's a 3 bedroom unit which had everything that you needed. The beds were comfortable and the thick windows blocked out all noise from the road the 2 bedrooms faced onto the parking facility and the road. The main bedroom overlooked the Canal. Loved sitting on the balcony watching everyday life going on. So convenient that your security tag lets you through the Canal and into the Waterfront where we went to the foo... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. Check-in took 40 mins which was frustrating after such a long flight but security was very good. Location was also very good, a short walk from all the restaurants on the waterfront and also close to the sightseeing bus tour which was worth using. Our room overlooked the harbour on the living room side but a main road on the bedroom side which woke us up most mornings. Wifi was available in the reception area but was extra in the rooms. Would definit... Read more

Loved the location ! I could see table mountian from my room! Lots to do , lots of food choices. Great local arts to buy. Easy drive to many other locations, like Boulders beach to see penguins! Wine country was so pretty. Nothing like California wine county. First time in South Africa loved it.

We stayed here in March. The reception is located in another building and then they drive you to the Village. We had a 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom apartment with a lovely patio. The security is very good so we felt very safe. The apartment was very clean but we found some maintenance issues. The bath in the second bathroom leaked and the floor were all wet. We also had a full sized kitchen, diningroom and livingroom. We were not sure how to operate the TV etc. There is a delivery service to o... Read more

We had the most frustrating 3 weeks ever. On checking in the heating pad and TV in main bedroom did not work- was 2 weeks before fixed. The 1 GB of internet I bought went off after 3 hours and they claimed I had used it all. The fridge door fell off on the 3rd night. Every night for 3 weeks the DSTV signal was lost, so we could not watch TV in the evening. It was clear that internet and DSTV service was not adequate during peak times, so would be cut off, which was annoying and frustrating w... Read more

We stayed for four nights and had a great one bedroom apartment in the Pembroke building. We arrived by taxi from the airport (cost about £20) and were met by very helpful reception staff who checked us in, provided us with a guide, and escorted us to our block. The area is in the V&A Waterfront and is very safe and secure. We were thrilled with our apartment; it had FANTASTIC views of Table Mountain and across the village. We were in Pembroke and it was very quite. The apartment was very well... Read more

I had mixed feelings about this place from the other trip advisor reviews, however, it turned out the be a very nice value for our family of 5. The location is realistically about 10 minute walk to the V&A waterfront shopping center or aquarium. There is no convenient store or restaurant around the area that is easily accessible. At night, it's a little strange with all the working docks busy cleaning, but we felt safe among all the locals going home for the evening. You can't beat the value... Read more

We had a fabulous two bedroom apartment in the marina area. The apartment was very spacious and finished to a high standard. The location is perfect for the V&A shops and restaurants. No more than 6-7 minute walk. Security was very evident and we felt very safe. The downsides: Our apartment wasn't that clean (it wasn't dirty but I expect a higher standard). Internet worked out rand190 for two days. At approximately £5 per day for very slow speeds is outrageous. Our apartment was cold in places... Read more

We paid more for staying here as it sold itself as luxury apartments. Upon arriving we were pleased as was set in a secure complex near the v&a amenities. However during our 4 night stay we had various minor (but not consistent with price nor 'luxury' billing). No hand towels for 3/4 days. Bath towels were threadbare. Pillowcases stained or mouldy. Light switch not working-was fixed. Table leg fell off (cheap furniture). Upon leaving we were told that the resort car would pick us and our luggage... Read more

This is a great location as many others have said, but the problems began when we arrived and no one was at the main office (supposedly open 24/7) for check in. They had been told of our late arrival but we still had to wait 1/2 hour for someone to show up. We had 2 apartments for our group. Ours was pretty run down; theirs was uninhabitable. The next day we were moved to much nicer apartments. My spouse and I were happy with ours, except for the fact that there were no instructions on how to us... Read more

apartment was nice and the view was amazing, near to the Victoria waterfront mall which open until late time, Price was expansive and no breakfast included, front disc some of them was helpful and the rest was ignoring our calls, in my next visit I will not stay there.

Our apartment was stunning - beautifully presented with views across the water. Staff on reception were lovely and helpful (Nicola deserves a special mention), but I felt so sorry for those staff having to deal with the wifi questions! Everyone is told there is wifi and heads back to their room armed with the code. Ours never worked (despite visits from technicians) and every time we were in reception there was someone checking they had the right code, asking for a refund of their wifi fee or fo... Read more
