Having stayed in the past I decided to revisit this hotel and was very pleased I did so. It's location at the lovely Granger Bay is ideal to access the nearby waterfront and the promenades along the seafront. On the one side you have a small yacht marina, and on the other the ocean with great views out towards Robben Island in the distance. It only has four stories so try for a higher room to maximize the sea view. The room are pleasantly furnished. The breakfast buffet was very good and it was... Read more

This was a lovely hotel, situated perfectly on the waterfront in Cape Town, well staffed with polite friendly employees, clean, with a great restaurant and best of all, outside dining and lounging just a few feet from the crashing waves and jumping dolphins of the Atlantic Ocean. I never felt like I was getting gouged, everything that was offered was delivered at a very fair price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would easily return and/or recommend The Radisson in Cape Town to others

Excellent. Highly recommended. I would strongly recommend this hotel both for business and pleasure. Very well located, excellent service, very good value, good food. I will certainly include this as one of the priority hotels for my next stay in Cape Town.

Good location with shuttle to V&A Waterfront Waterfront room had a view of the water and a living room area and balcony. Good Breakfast was included with a outside seating area on the water. Would recommend only with a waterfront room.

The hotel room is clean and big and the area is great and staff seems nice. We discovered the day we left the hotel that money was stolen out of our bag. You can say it is your fault if you do not keep it in a safe but for radisson with their world wide quality you would not except that the staff is snuffing around in your bag and opens all small bags that are hidden in your bag. We made a complaint and they ask the staff but of course nobody confessed so without an apology we left South Africa.... Read more

Good place ‚?? 1 Km away from the Waterfront without the exorbitant rates ‚?? and located in a nice Marina. Bedroom and bathroom very good, typical Radisson! The room was noisy, internally (the mini fridge) and externally (from the entrance and from people talking loud in the lobby / reception area, the hotel is totally open inside). The awful experience was the wifi: unreliable and incredibly slow ‚?? when connected. There is a shuttle to and from the Waterfront every hour, but the schedul... Read more

We were 5 Indian families on a trip to South Africa and after a very pleasant, scenic drive on the Garden Route had arrived at Radisson Blu. This was in August 2010 and yet the wonderful memories of staying at this wonderful luxury resort are so fresh with me, I had to document it in my travel reviews. The resort is strategically located right near the Stadium and a walk away from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, that you can spend some good couple of relaxing days at the resort without ventu... I would have loved to give this establishment a top rating, but a few items stuck out in my visit that has prevented this. Check in and out where efficient and friendly and exactly what I expected. The reception staff where great, friendly and very helpful. The room was slightly dated and the safe was falling off the wall. This is where my first issue comes in. During our stay at night and during our conference, they insisted in renovating the hotel. The drilling, banging and chiseling was aud... Read more

Stayed at the property last week and have never felt more at home - all the staff are focused on ensuring that you enjoy your stay. The rooms are lovely and the restaurant cuisine delicious. Nicole in the restaurant was particularly charming and the doormen, shuttle bus drivers and reception staff were so informative. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Cheers - Jules

The hotel is located slightly off the centre part of town but close to the V&A waterfront. There isn't a great deal immediately around the hotel to do. There is sea wall that you can walk out on to get good views of Table Mountain and the waterfront. The sea and view I guess differentiates it from hotels in the city centre. The V&A waterfront is walkable, but I preferred to use the hourly shuttle service- very handy when carrying back shopping. Make sure you tell your taxi driver you are sta... Read more

Concluding our holiday we decided to stay here for the last two days of it. Living in room 409 , equipped with a balcony facing the vast expanse of blue green sea , it was one of the best few days of our 10 day long South Africa trip. Its perfect location such that one could hear the waves at all times and it being in close vicinity to the posh V&A waterfront makes it very convenient. The hotel also provides an hourly complimentary shuttle to the mall at the waterfront. It is an impeccably maint... Read more

We spent 4 nights in a two bedroom family corner suite with wonderful views across the bay. The room was large with a separate lounge and kitchenette and a third smaller bedroom/lounge including large balconies. The two bathrooms were of an average size. The hotel in general is clean, functional and ideally located but lacks passion. Breakfasts were standard if not slightly lacking in variety and room service average. The hotel is in a great spot and has amazing ocean view from the back and and city/mountain views at the front. The sea facing Business Class rooms are a good size with a nice balcony. Handy to most things in Cape Town, with a free shuttle bus to shopping mall with heaps of restaurants, and any type of shop you desire. We were amazed at the low pricing of food in the Pick and Pack supermarket, as well as the range of products other than food. Clothing was also well priced, far better than in Australia.

My wife and I stayed on room 308 on Radisson Blu Waterfront on June 27 - 30. We were allocated to the room with facing sea view... Stunningly memorable... We were experiencing some technical faulty in the room such as dirty towel, broken window and toilet flush button damage. I reported to the duty manager to fix it for the next guest. I did not expect any reward as I just did it sincerely so that the next guest can enjoy it flawless Neverthless, the management of the hotel arranged a complime... Read more

My family stayed at the Radission Blu Waterfront for four nights. A couple of observations. First, if you can get a sea view room, do so: the rooms are directly by the sea and the views, especially at sunrise and sunset, are wonderful. Second, breakfast is excellent, with a great range of hot and cold buffet and eggs to order. And third: the service is exceptional. We had to change our plans several times while we were there. We stayed for two nights only on a hectic tour of the highlights of Western SA. The staff were helpful, the location perfect and the sea front rooms are pretty special (Sunrise, sunset, cloudy skies, waterway activity, active bird life). We had a family suite- spacious and well appointed. If we were staying for longer it would have been even more helpful- fridge, cooker and anything you may want for self catering. It is near the Victoria and Albert Waterfront and has a shuttle bus that runs hourly, which is great; but, room service is poor. It is 4pm and our room has not been serviced. We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay 3 night stay at the Radisson Blu Waterfront at the start of our South African roadtrip. I had a one night visit at the Radisson, I have arrived at 2pm to the hotel, the room had a parking view. I have decided to upgrade the room to see view as I wanted to upgrade my experience. The room was amazing, I had a great view. The only thing that I would have change it the service that I have got from the stuff.
