Having stayed in the past I decided to revisit this hotel and was very pleased I did so. It's location at the lovely Granger Bay is ideal to access the nearby waterfront and the promenades along the seafront. On the one side you have a small yacht marina, and on the other the ocean with great views out towards Robben Island in the distance. It only has four stories so try for a higher room to maximize the sea view. The room are pleasantly furnished. The breakfast buffet was very good and it was... Read more

This was a lovely hotel, situated perfectly on the waterfront in Cape Town, well staffed with polite friendly employees, clean, with a great restaurant and best of all, outside dining and lounging just a few feet from the crashing waves and jumping dolphins of the Atlantic Ocean. I never felt like I was getting gouged, everything that was offered was delivered at a very fair price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would easily return and/or recommend The Radisson in Cape Town to others

The hotel room is clean and big and the area is great and staff seems nice. We discovered the day we left the hotel that money was stolen out of our bag. You can say it is your fault if you do not keep it in a safe but for radisson with their world wide quality you would not except that the staff is snuffing around in your bag and opens all small bags that are hidden in your bag. We made a complaint and they ask the staff but of course nobody confessed so without an apology we left South Africa.... Read more

Good place ‚?? 1 Km away from the Waterfront without the exorbitant rates ‚?? and located in a nice Marina. Bedroom and bathroom very good, typical Radisson! The room was noisy, internally (the mini fridge) and externally (from the entrance and from people talking loud in the lobby / reception area, the hotel is totally open inside). The awful experience was the wifi: unreliable and incredibly slow ‚?? when connected. There is a shuttle to and from the Waterfront every hour, but the schedul... Read more

I would have loved to give this establishment a top rating, but a few items stuck out in my visit that has prevented this. Check in and out where efficient and friendly and exactly what I expected. The hotel is located slightly off the centre part of town but close to the V&A waterfront. There isn't a great deal immediately around the hotel to do. There is sea wall that you can walk out on to get good views of Table Mountain and the waterfront. The sea and view I guess differentiates it from hotels in the city centre. The helpfulness of the staff was the most appreciated aspect of my stay at this Radisson Blu. The view was spectacular, and the food was very good both at dinner and at breakfast. One could choose to eat outdoors or indoors. The room was clean and had everything we needed - plus. The Concierge staff were extremely helpful, providing maps to various points of interest and even running out to our car to make sure we had the most useful map with us.

I recently stayed here on a business trip. The hotel is nice, good location to get to the waterfront but beach is not great (would recommend Camps Bay or Clifton if you want to be by a nice beach). The reason for my review is that the hotel is extremely overpriced - we subsequently stayed in a nicer hotel in camps bay for only £60 and the lack of security. Our phones, credit cards, passports etc got stolen from the hotel lobby. When we questioned them on their security we were told that the h... Read more

I used to love staying at the Radisson Blue Hotel for various reasons, e.g. central location, next to the sea, great breakfast, wonderful service, clean rooms, great views, etc. but my last visit was disappointing. Firstly, I asked for a sea facing room when I booked but received a room facing a roof and building works. I had to pay R835 to upgrade to a business classroom facing the sea. This room was fabulous! This waterfront hotel is definitely something that helped in making my stay more relaxing. We had made a reservation here, and for the price it was at, it was good for what we paid for.
