Check in and out was very smooth and pleasant. Hotel has stunning views of sunset over the Atlantic. Room was clean, comfortable, tasteful and very spacious. We self-catered in the lovely kitchen by using the supermarket around the corner so we didn't use the restaurants. Parking was reasonable.

Extremely well placed on beach front to all amenities - shops, restaurants, bus transport and tourist attractions. Courtesy shuttle provided to gyms and the well known Waterfront where one can book daily cruises around the harbour as well as the historic Robben Island. Hotel clean and well serviced, excellent food choices and free Wi-Fi reception, cocktail bars and luxury lounges to relax, or visit the onsite gym for destressing. They have shuttle busses but the bus route is right outside the hotel. It is aging a bit since our last stay there but it is still one of the best and most elegant and spacious hotels you will find in the area and at great prices. Location is good as it is close to bantry bay, in sea point, clifton and camps bay is close by. One can hear the ocean all day long in the room.

Arrived to a very warm welcome and were taken up to our suite which was lovely with incredible views and a great balcony. Weather was great for two days so could sit out and read, watch the sunsets and joggers passing by. There is a bus stop outside the front of the hotel but didn't use it ... had a hire car and parking at the Peninsula .. had to pay but reasonable given how difficult it is to park in CT. Has a very decent restaurant that we tried one evening but also cooked our own breakfast... Read more

Spent a week at this place. Amazing sea view from all suites, so don't have to worry about which room you get. Has limited free wifi in the rooms and unlimited free wifi in the lobby. Free shuttles to the city within a 8 km radius but requires advance booking. The hotel does need a bit a facelift and sprucing up of some of the amenities. There was an indoor heated pool but we did not use it. Overall service was average, but the location was simply awesome.

We loved this hotel, it is central, the staff eager to help, and the hotel shuttle is a bonus! We had a 3 bedroom family suite which was great, not everything. Looks brand new but it was kept very clean. The restaurant food was delicious and we enjoyed the lounge singer one evening.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was perfect for a family of 4. The hotel is ideally situated to explore sea point. To be able to watch the ocean from the balcony was an absolute bonus to our stay. The Spa Batch was a bit of a disappointment as it didn't really work properly.

An enjoyable stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious with a lounge area and small balcony with a table and chairs. The clothing cupboard is limited and it "scattered" ie. one near the kitchen, lounge and close to the bed. We were able to watch the ocean from our room and balcony and you can view the Lions Head Mountain from the hotel. The hotel provides covered parking at a fee which was disappointing. The Good:The setting of this hotel is stunning, with sea views from our balcony where we could watch the stunning sun sets. The beds were comfortable and the suite was generally clean. Breakfasts were included and were ok but not fantastic, and if we wanted cappuccino instead of coffee we paid extra. The Bad: our towels were threadbare, the unit had a musty old smell and the main bedroom (we had a 2 bedroom unit) was dark, it's only window opening onto the enclosed outside passage way (no privac... Location is awesome with the best views of the ocean. Quaint pvt balcony makes it extra special to have a sundowner from the room. Spacious room however , shower pressure is low and perhaps needs abit of refurbishment. Room was just infront of lifts (510) which is noisy and i can imagine during peak season how frustrating it would be as voices are clearly audible. Other then that i would def stay again
