I fully enjoyed my stay at Park Inn Radisson. It was my first experience and i'm stunned. The Hotel is a stone throw away from Cavindish Mall, which makes it easy for guest in case you forgot something.

Looks like a brand new building but has apparently been operating for apprx 3 yrs. Building style looks like a modern biz hotel. Staff friendly and helpful but appear untrained (beyond the basics). Underground parking was extremely dusty and looked like a construction site. Smoking area happened to be right below my window ???? Smallish room but modern. - No work desk in the room for biz folk .....!!? - Toilet faulty & didn't flush properly - Very dusty parking lot - smoking area impacting ... Read more

If you are here for rugby or cricket at Newlands, this place could not be better situated. It's a slow five minute walk. We were waiting in the bar for our room to be ready. Rooms modern and very disabled friendly. We had a bathroom suited to wheelchairs users. Even though we did not have a wheelchair, it did mean the whole bathroom floor got soaking wet as the shower door is not quite adequate. A lot of the staff are deaf, and they were badges to show this. Some guests would not notice th... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel... however its purely a business persons hotel. The bedrooms are small and do not have bath tubs. The loo is tiny and cramped. There was ants in the bedroom. It was two different height single beds put together very uncomfortable for a couple. Breakfast has a big variety however there is not a chef to make your eggs and the eggs and side items were cold. No variety in coffees. Staff is great. Towels are not sparkling white

We were on a leisure trip to South Africa. Had booked 4 rooms for 4 nights at park inn. Till last moment I was searching for hotels close to v n a waterfront. But I must admit that this hotel is just 20 mins drive to v n a waterfront and great place to stay. It has free parking facilities, free Wi-Fi , rooms though not big enough are well equipped with facilties like tea coffee maker, air con, TV, nice bathrooms and toiletries. Indian restaurant "bihari" is just 5 mins walk from park inn. Breakf... Read more

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Radisson Park inn in Newlands. The hotel is well situated in the Southern suburbs of Cape Town. it has a very modern look about is spotlessly clean, Rooms are very comfortable and all amenities are terrific. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The duty manager Rinaldo could not to enough for us as well as Eloise on reception. We spent one night at the hotel and the staff was friendly on check-in. The room was nice and modern, yet quaint. The shower pressure was on the weak side. The location of the hotel is great if you need to attend any of the sport events at the stadium.

Hotel was of great quality and standard. Staff very helpful and friendly. Value for money was exceptional and would highly recommend. Very clean with own shuttle service. Ideal for business trips and for those who want to stay in the Newlands area away from the city centre.

I arrived a day late at the hotel and my room had been given away, but they dealt with matters very swiftly, I had a wonderful meal and service in the restaurant whilst they quickly sorted out a room for me. The staff were all very professional and the food (although very expensive) in the restaurant was delicious.

We attended a conference at the Sports Institute and stayed at the Park Inn for 2 nights. 700m walk to the conference centre, close to super restaurants, lovely clean room with excellent staff especially Riyaad who came to our assistance when our car had a flat battery. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of this well run hotel.Well priced, excellent location and good breakfasts. High recommended

We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon in May 2016 . We left all our money in the safe of the hotel and when we came back the safe was open and the money was gone . It was terrible, even more while on honeymoon. We are still affected. The hotel has not taken any responsibility despite having trusted their service. I do not recommend this hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure travellers. It is ideally situated close to all tourist attractions yet far enough from the hustle and bustle, quiet enough to allow you to relax yet vibrant enough to make your stay memorable. the stuff are knowledgeable on the surounding areas and attractions.

Nice hotel within the price range when you want no frills hoteling. The rooms are relatively small, don't expect to have space to work other than on your bed or small table. The breakfast spread is adequate, the surrounding area is very good and relatively safe and central to many places - restaurants, theatres, etc in the Rondebosch/Newlands area. Also nice service all around and affordable lunch and dinner menu. Definitely will stay there again

We were pleasantly surprised in July this year when my family, that is, my wife, six year-old daughter and I, booked into the Park Inn by Radisson Blue in Newlands. What first attracted us here was the price, which we found very reasonable for the value one gets here. We were struck by the bright rainbow colouring of the decor, and the adjustable multicoloured light in our room's headboard fascinated our daughter for hours on end. Not large by any comparison, but comfortable and clean in a quiet... Read more

This review is not based on an actual stay there however my interaction with the reception upon fetching a guest who was staying there. As I approached the hotel I actually spotted the Raddisson branded vehicle driving towards the hotel and at a pretty fast speed for the area. I was most taken aback and then saw that it was just the driver in the vehicle and no guests however one should be mindful it is a branded vehicle. I then walked in to a lady and 2 gents standing at the reception and the l... Read more

We booked the boardroom for a company committee meeting. The rates for the delegates are very well priced. If the group is less the 15 people, you will be offered a set menu with usually two mains choice. The food choice is made in the morning during your morning coffee and then collected by one of the friendly hotel staff. The board room meeting room itself is well lit and has ample space for eight delegates, Cofee, and other beverages (juice) is provided, and the pastries that are provided are... Read more

Awesome hotel! Stay here every year for two oceans, but recently stayed here during a business trip to Cape Town. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and they employ a lot of deaf staff who are also extremely friendly, helpful and capable. Rooms are modern and clean and comfortable, breakfast is fantastic. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town, be it for work or holiday. Prices are also extremely good value for money.

For a one nighter this hotel is great. Clean , neat and tidy rooms are great. A little pricy for a single traveler but as a couple it does include breakfast and that makes it a lot more reasonable Nicely situated near some great restaurants and in a quiet area.

We found this hotel when we needed an extra night in Cape Town. Wonderful find, shame it was only one night. All the staff were extremely helpful, the room very good, views from it pleasant too, great breakfast. Clearly they have a good social employment policy too, we were greeted by a couple of deaf employees in the lobby, lip reading of course.

I attended a national NGO working meeting for 3 days and I am sure that being bound by such things as a 3-quote procurement system would have influenced the choice of venue. It was convenient for access to and from the airport. However, I found the noise of overlooking an intersection of the Metrorail line, the M4, and another local arterial road from 5.30 a.m. intrusive. The only option is to close the window completely or make sure when you book in that you get allocated a room with an even ... Read more

There is nothing obviously wrong with this hotel, but I would recommend that you do further research. The rooms are modern, but basic and small. If you spend a bit more, you can do way better or get the same for much less. On the flip side though the staff are very friendly and the hotel clean - I also like the initiative where approximately 1/3 of the staff are deaf or hard of hearing.

I'm prompted to write my first review on tripadvisor by the level of service provided by all the staff here. It's not a family-run hotel but they treat the guests as if it were. It's genuine without needing to resort to Corporate jargon. I was hosted in this hotel for three nights during a big event in Capte Town so price was on the high side due to massive affluence in town and sorrundings. Rooms are renovated and clean. Big bed and modern bathroom. Breakfast is also good and the restaurant features both local and international food. Service is friendly and kind. The worst thing is that getting a taxi takes some time since the hotel is not close to town.
