Very comfy, quiet, clean and central place to stay when visiting The Mother City. Early breakfast is a huge relief. 24 hour kitchen comes very handy for those long nights when time just flies and you miss supper or dinner. I will be back.

After backpacking and staying in hostels and Airbnb spots for months, this felt like the height of luxury. The rooms were clean, bright, comfortable and spacious. The staff and concierge were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was mediocre but honestly the hotel is within walking distance of so many restaurant that we only ate in one time.

There were much cheaper hotels like Southern Sun and Westin offering better value. The executive lounge is good but has terrible food, much worse than the breakfast in the general restaurant. I found that the amount paid for this hotel was more than double what was the rate for the other neighbouring but much better hotels like Southern Sun and The Westin. I was baffled to learn that we could not even check out earlier to go sleep in these hotels else our credit card would still be charged for t... Read more

We stayed in this Hilton for 4 nights in January 2016 and we throughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is in a great location, just a short drive from everything (5-10 mins from the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain, 10-15 mins from Camps Bay...)We parked in the hotel every day without any problems. Our standard room was really lovely - much bigger than your typical standard room with really nice&modern decorations and furnishings (lots of storage space) - much nicer than in normal Hilton rooms. We arrived in Cape Town after spending several days at Victoria Falls & Kruger doing safari's. We found the Hilton to be in a very good location & the hotel had a lovely feel about it. The rooms were clean & the bed very comfortable. The pool area was a nice place to unwind have a drink & light meal. The staff were very helpful in organising any extra activities we wished to do. We stayed five nights in this hotel and were very pleased we had chosen to make it our home while visiting Cape Town. Our room was clean, comfortable, and plenty spacious. The lobby is welcoming and well appointed. Wonderful views of Table Mountain abound from the higher floors. My husband is brand loyal to Hilton and we have stayed in many properties around the world and this one did not disappoint. Modern with stunning views. The only issue was getting out of the parking garage with our rental, our ticket never seemed to work and we had to wait to be rescued by the staff. Not sure why there is a gate on the way out as there is already one on the way in that you need a ticket for, but it was a minor inconvenience in the scheme of things. Everything else was fabulou... An average rating for a Hilton which is getting close to need for a refurbishment. Well located and with a very good concierge service. Room service menu very average. Our room had a constantly flushing toilet ( needed a second push on button to stop), one bed reading light not working and was short a bath robe. Room was very hot and air conditioning could not be set below 20 C but at least the windows open.

We stay at this hotel every year that we return to Cape Town. We also stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff are accommodating and fantastic. The executive lounge is one of the best of the Hilton family I have encountered in my travels. The shuttle to the waterfront makes things easy. Do lock all of your belongings in the safe. We find that your laptop bag is always had a staff member poking around - even when valuables are in the safe. Sadly the only thing that has been an issue.

Upon check in, i couldn't really take in how stunning the views were from my hotel room. The room itself was very spacious, and so was the toilet. Good amenities. After i used the toilet, the flush went funny and the water wouldn't stop running. They had a plumber to my room 10-15 mins after i called the reception after 10pm. The problem re-appeared after 24 hours, and i called reception and asked to be moved first thing tomorrow morning. They moved me to a much larger room, with a stunning bal... Read more

The hotel has a word 'center' in its name, so one expects it is located somewhat centrally. In reality it is some 6 km from Waterfront and perhaps 1 km from Line Street. The hotel provides a free shuttle every hour to the waterfront. The hotel is rather dated. There is a small executive lounge which provides basic breakfast in the morning. Internet painfully slow. For the price they ask for a room, not a good price/quality ratio.

Great location, wonderful staff. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment but this didn't detract from our experience at the Hilton. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it as a great base for an extended holiday in the Western Cape.

The hotel is located in a great part of the city. It is close to bars, restaurants and walking distance (1 km or so) to the waterfront. The hotel concierge service was great. They got us great recommendations and deals on different tours. The red bus has a stop 2 blocks from the hotel. This is very convenient for all kinds of tours including the wine tours.

Excellent hotel with a nice location. If you walk up the road from the hotel you arrive in bo-kaap malay quarters. Walk down the road from the hotel you in town long street. Hotel has an executive lounge. Staff was very friendly. Having stayed at all the hiltons in the country, this one gave me the best room upgrade. Two bedroom suite with lounge and balcony was just awesome. Kids didn't want to go back home.

A well located hotel for access to City with shuttle srvice to Waterfront. Five star accomodation with an Excellent Client Services Team and Concierge (Nardus Buys). It will be even better when lobby refurbishment is completed later this year.

Excellent from check in to check out. This hotel could teach a class in customer service. Helpful staff everywhere, from concierge to reception to bell-hops to cleaners. Spotless room (suite, we stayed on executive floor with lounge that had complimentary hot snacks/light supper and premium alcohol). Good central location.

Isgik, he was a most impressive person as a compliment to the service his manager (head concierge) provided. He is well spoken, calm mannered and he showed up at every moment as if it was effortlessly his job. He was attentive to details and was quick to solve problems that I personally had. You have to call Emad if you want to learn the city and feel safe.

I'm a HHonors Diamond member spending 200-300 nights in different hotels every year, and I've stayed at this property a number of times over the years. I revisited the hotel last week expecting a quiet stay, but I was wrong. Two days into my visit I realized things were missing from my room. I didn't think much about it, but when it happened again a day later I felt obliged to alert the hotel management about the issue. I was met with suspicion and arrogance, yet one of the managers ensured m... Read more

We upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite at a considerably higher rate than we expected after accepting an on-line upgrade offer - be sure to take supporting documentation with you if you do the same! Staff is wonderfully accommodating. TV is terrible - CNN, lots of sports stations, 2 stations offering older movies. Location is a little sketchy, but very accessible for the hop-on-hop-off bus. The garage is a wonderful convenience, so no worries re street parking. We didn't use the restaurant, only ... Read more

Title is my suggestion for a new product line in Hilton. While having breakfast (which was awful) I asked for some bacon strips (as a last resort) and I received proud answer "we are halal hotel sir". While I respect rights of establishment to be halal, or not serving steaks or having only fish on Friday or not doing anything on Saturday, Hilton should respect my rights and warn me of such establishments. I will vote with my wallet and not patronize places that push down their religious believes... Read more

We loved every aspect of our visit to South Africa starting with the wonderful hotel driver that picked us up from the airport to the royal greetings we received daily from all employees throughout our visit. The amenities were a plus to our whole experience even with renovations going on. On most days we enjoyed the wonderful selections offered at the hotel buffet before embarking on the days adventure. We relaxed in pure comfort for seven days in our beautiful room with a breathtaking view ... Read more

While the Hilton is remodelling the lobby, the rooms are spacious, well designed and kept very clean. The location, though not in the heart of the city center, is nonetheless very good and offers excellent access to night spots. The CTICC and Waterfront is an easy cab ride or 25 min walk away.

The hotel rooms are spacious and in good condition. Location is ok in City Center although I wouldn't recommend City Center if you're in CT on a short trip. Hotel offers a shuttle bus to the V&A until 6pm. The biggest problem is the rooms are very noisy, not good sound proofing.

I'd not recommend staying at this hotel until the refurbishment is done. The staff is not focusing on detail at the moment, not sure if moral is down or just being lazy. The breakfast is good with a good selection.

Good place, good service, poor coffee at the hotel. Very nice and clean city, excellent food and coffee everywhere in town. There was reconstruction at the hotel, due to that lobby was half-closed, next time it will look better.

We were couple visited the city for a mixed business/ leisure trip and booked here in advance for eight nights. The hotel located in the heart of the city center from walkable distance from so many attractive locations and provides a constant shuttle to the waterfront tourist site. There is no active lobby when we stayed there, they were doing major renovations on the lobby area but thank goodness our reservation included the executive lounge or we have to sit at the terrace outside the hotel on... We had four nights at this hotel whilst attending to some personal matters in Cape Town. Our room, on the seventh floor, was spacious with a nice view over the mountain. The bathroom was also reasonably spacious with a bath and shower stall, the shower being nice and powerful. Coffee and tea making facilities were available as well as a minibar. We chose to take breakfast in the room each morning and this was delivered on time and with our order accurately met. The staff were all polite and frie... Read more

We were not expecting anything over the top but this was just bad. Let's start with good which was that the rooms were quite nice, a good view of the table bay mountain from our room and the location as we expected - close to the company gardens, the Bo Kaap was just outside the door and the V&A just a quick ride. We stayed in an executive room which was pretty much identical as the regular rooms (we were mistakenly put up in a regular room for our first night), the executive lounge was a disast... Read more

The staff have been so accommodating on this trip - checking us in early after a long haul arrival was much appreciated, to getting a lovely well appointed executive room. The staff in the exec lounge made us all feel welcome and valued and me a little special when I was brought a huge slab of birthday cake. Our suite was super spacious and well presented, offering us all the comforts of home in a hotel. The bed was very comfortable, not quite mine at home but a good second best!! Only on... Read more

Yes, they are renovating the lobby area...But, the exceptional service provided by the entire staff was always more than compensating for any inconvenience. Our room had a mesmerizing view of Table Mountain. Quite impressed with how efficiently only two elevators handled the whole hotel. Best bed of the year. Very firm, but not too hard. No morning back aches. Our room was very quiet. Yes, some street noise. But, this is the city. The wonderful bathroom was beginning to show some age, but ... Read more

I loved my stay at the hotel. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The rooms were exceptionally well appointed and very clean. I had a great city view above the pool. The lobby is under construction... (no big deal for me). If you demand that the hotel you are staying in has a lobby to hang out in, then choose another hotel. Otherwise, the restaurant served delicious and representative food with some African dishes. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was great as ... Read more
